The booking online on their website was easy and they communicate through text for questions and concerns. They were communicative during delivery and pick up at our resorts. They also had very good pricing and gave my parents some comfort and convince (actually big comfort) during our days at the park! I would definitely use them again. There was only one time when one of the scooters stalled in movement but all I had to do is ask my mom to turn it off and the it back on. I rented a mobility scooter from Scooter King during my recent visit to Universal Orlando, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The scooter was delivered with a sunshade that was clearly in poor condition. The shade was broken and would not stay in place, constantly shifting from side to side while I was driving. Because it kept moving unexpectedly, it made navigating through the park extremely difficult and I ended up accidentally bumping into several people while trying to control it. In addition to being broken, the sunshade itself looked worn and neglected. The fabric was torn along the edges and had visible stains, which made the scooter appear poorly maintained overall. What was especially frustrating is that when I reserved the scooter, I specifically requested that one in new or good condition be provided. Given that request, I was very disappointed to receive equipment that was clearly damaged and not properly maintained. For a service that visitors rely on for mobility and comfort during a long day at the parks, I expected much better quality and upkeep of the equipment. Based on this experience, I will never rent from Scooter King again. read more

Okay, where do I even start? From the first time I texted inquiring about their scooter, the customer service was first-class. I rented a scooter for my 77-year-old mother so she could check off her last bucket-list item. The scooter was delivered to our hotel hours before we even arrived. The scooter was easy to charge in our room. I did spend an extra $20.00 for the whole rental for the canopy. Well worth it. They texted me, letting me know it was delivered and when it would be picked up. This company is top-notch! I rented this scooter for three days for the cost of one day to rent a Universal scooters at the park. It was easy to get on the Universal bus and the boat that takes you into the park as well. I would definitely recommend renting a scooter from Scooter King Orlando. I had arranged to rent a scooter over the Internet for my week-long vacation in Orlando. I had questions before selecting a scooter rental company and Scooter King was able to answer all of my questions at 2 AM Pacific Time via their chat service. They were very patient and helpful, and I felt confident that I had made the right choice. The scooter was delivered to my hotel's Front Desk by 6 AM Monday morning, so I did not have to be present to accept the delivery. It was a new scooter that easily fit into our rented SUV once disassembled into its four modular parts (wheeled base, battery, seat, and basket). Breaking it down and reassembly took about 3 minutes (no tools required) once we arrived at the parks. Returning the scooter was just as easy. All I had to do was drop it off at the bellhop desk, and Scooter King retrieved it the following morning. Without the scooter, my family could not have covered the multiple theme parks as much as we did. We were able to get around quickly and easily, and we didn't have to worry about walking long distances or getting tired. Great battery life. Stayed charged with more to spare and we were at Magic Kingdom from open to close. Delivery was supposed to be at 11 pm but they dropped it off way before but left it at Airbnb Resort office instead. They did get one to us last minute the morning we were scheduled to leave for Magic Kingdom. However we booked a 3 wheeler, they gave us a 4 wheeler. Need better customer service options. They want you to only chat with someone online, very hard to get an actual person on the phone. Decided to schedule pickup of scooter instead of delivery. Arrived ~20 minutes early to pick up. Nobody was on site and all doors were locked no way to access scooter. Chat support kept saying just pick up the scooter, did not understand the door was locked. Only after waiting on hold and calling multiple times did we get someone on the phone. Staff told us they were at home and had to drive to location to let us in. They arrived only a couple of minutes after our scheduled pick up time, but if we would not have called them, I doubt anyone would have showed up. Scooter battery was great, although scooter was pretty dinged up. Horn did not work and the button was damaged. Bag for charger was not large enough to hold the entire charge securely. Arms on seat were off. Drop off is sketchy, just leave it outside their office with no way to know nobody would steal the scooter and it get blamed on the customer. read more

If I could leave a zero star I would. after having a horrible first experience I was promised that if I rented with them again, I would have a great experience. Yet, I am writing as I am sitting waiting for a new battery, outside of the theme parks waiting because the "fully charged" battery didn't make it from the parking lot to the front gates. Not a great start to my trip. I've already lost 2 hours at mickeys not so scary tonight and I'm really quite displeased. After another 2 hours or charging time inside the park, with the scooters dying in the middle of the park, we had to push the scooters to find somewhere to charge them. a total of 4 batteries and none ran more than 1 hour. Then the delivery/pickup driver had the audacity to tell me I ruined my own night with your lousy scooters!!!!! That's twice you ruined a special Disney ticket event for me. I found this company via a Google search after we discovered all of the Disney "partner" scooter companies had no availability or very limited drop off times. Scooter King delivered the scooters to our rooms within hours. Didn't charge us for that night or our departure day since we were leaving so early. The gentleman that dropped them off and picked them up was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly patient with our many many questions. The scooters themselves had minimal wear and tear. Scooter King was my best find when my family and I visited Orlando. I did a request through Yelp messaging and this company got right back to me. The service was awesome. I was able to get two scooters, one for my son who had a broken leg and one for my mother who could not walk the long distances through the amusement parks. On some of the rides, it helped us get up to the front of the line faster. I feel so fortunate that we found Scooter King since the company that Disney recommended was all booked up and we had to find it last minute. The gentleman at Scooter King brought the scooters right to our door and we kept them for five days. It was a lot less expensive than the Disney scooters. This was totally worth it. I needed a EWC for my sister-in-law (who is waiting hip surgery) for our vacation in Florida. called this company and he said that he delivered to our area and would deliver any day and time. Set up the delivery for around 6 pm on a Saturday. well, my flight got cancelled and we ended up getting in after 9 pm. He still came and delivered the electric wheelchair and extended our rental for a day with no extra cost because of getting it so late. Outstanding service and quality!! I rented two scooters from scooter king to use at Universal Studios. I was told they would bring it to the hotel we were staying at around 6:30-7:00 am and call us when they arrived. At 7:30 I called them because I hadn't gotten a call yet. They said ohh we dropped it off at the front desk, so I go up there, no scooters. After 30 mins and two calls I find out they took them to the wrong hotel. It took another hour to get our scooters finally to us. The one scooter worked fine, last from morning to night and still showed completely full battery. The one arm rest was missing the nut on the bolt so the entire time I had to keep pushing the bolt back through and the armrest literally felt like it was going to fall off any moment. The whole front end cracked and creaked the entire time also. The second scooter died every day after just a couple hours. After the second time of having to push it about a mile, I contacted scooter king and informed them about the scooter dying after a couple of hours each day. I was told to leave it in the lobby of the hotel and someone would come swap it out. The next morning I go pick it up from the front desk, it was the same scooter so I thought well maybe they swapped out for a new battery. Half way through the day at universal again the scooter died, and we had to push it about a mile back to the hotel. Not to mention on of the chargers was broken. So not only did I lose half of a day being able to use the scooter, it still didn't work. All in all I used it less than 2 full days out of a 5 day rental. Avoid this company at all costs. Absolutely horrible to deal with and they don't know what customer service means. read more
