Since it wouldn't let me get past that page because I didn't fill the insurance part in, I decided to go early for my appointment on Monday morning and fill it out then. When I got there, early, and told them about being unable to fill in the form because it wouldn't let me past the insurance page, the receptionist told me that I wouldn't be able to be seen today because the form was lengthly. I explained the above to her and that I got the form on a Saturday and they were closed so I couldn't call to get my questions answered. She shrugged her shoulders and said again, the form was long and I wouldn't be able to been seen. She said I should have just put N/A in the insurance part. How was I to know that? There were no directions saying that. I explained it has taken me 5 months to get the VA to authorize the visit. She shrugged again. Could I come in tomorrow. I said no. I do have a life. And she shrugged again. I picked up my stuff and left. Don't you think I could have filled out what I could get done before seeing the doc and then finish it after? You can also bet no matter how long the form was, I could have finished it before my wait was over since there were 2 other people waiting before me.

Could not speak to the VA doctor the day of my meltdown but the nurse was sympathetic to my plight and told me that she had heard some Vets getting relief with acupuncture. Another possible choice presented itself? I found Dr. Ryan Bemis in Las Cruces about 65 miles from where I live. I called to get in as soon as possible but he was booked out for at least a month and a half. Yet he had a clinic open to the public that very week end and invited me to join. I signed up right then and there. since that first meeting I have been seeing Dr. Bemis now going on close to 2 years of monthly visits. I do hope to continue till my passing. I didn't know where to start but I trusted YELP reviews to FHS Chiro. My first visit with Dr. J was great, he didn't try to make me do x-rays and try to see me 3-5 times a week, sell me supplements, homeopathic oils, etc etc. He accessed me and based off his knowledge, experience, and education he was able to see what was going on with me and get a plan in place. The specialists said that the fluid would clear on its own, but visit after visit the fluid hadn't cleared and there was still no treatment plan other than to just "wait it out". That's when Dr. Asad suggested chiropractic treatment for my baby. He explained how if his body wasn't properly aligned, the fluid was essentially stuck with no where to go. After his first adjustment, not only was his range of motion significantly better but he also started sleeping longer stretches.
