This is a really fun and educational place to go on a field trip. We had several fifth grade…read moreclasses on this trip. The kids especially loved the boat ride and the narrow walkway at the end. The guides were informative and entertaining. I was impressed how they were able to keep a bunch of excited kids interested and safe. The cave is clean and well lit. The stalagmites are very interesting to see. They have a gift shop, pastry shop and apparently a cafe. My youngest son has never been so maybe I'll come back with him some time soon.

My tour group had 39 people!! We were so crammed on the boats at the end one family of adults had to squeeze 4 in a row. It made it hard to hear the tour guide and we were tripping on one another almost at a few times. And the elevators were the worst. We were crammed in like sardines. Very claustrophobic. Our tour guide Ethan was very friendly, but there were a few guides that passed by us in the cave that had rude tones. They'd holler at us to move to the left.. "no her left" "you need to move" they'd scream.. Again just too many people down there at once I think. The cave itself, the tour guide Ethan, everything else was good. Just wished there were fewer people included on our tour so we could really enjoy it more.

I attached the paperwork and the inside paperwork that is given to you when you come to the motel. You can see on the paperwork that there literally cannot be any emergencies or you'll get charged for them. We had something crawling above our heads the enter night. It sounded like something running fast in one room and something tiptoeing in the other room. This would not have been on their emergencies so we didn't call. We were woken up with pounding on our door from room service. We were not ready to get going at 8:24 in the morning so we had to get dressed to answer the door. Check out is by 11, which is normal and fine, check in had to be done by 3:45 or they would let us know where they were putting the keys? Needless to say, we checked in by 3:45. There were no food options, store options or any accommodations available after 3:45 PM. Do not have an emergency, they will charge you. Our experience was not pleasant and we will not be back to the motel. The pool was closed and that wasn't an option for us to do either.

Stayed here in the family suit for Howe caverns "Naked in a Cave" event where you explore the cave and it's wonders, wearing nothing but a smile and comfortable shoes! Staying at the motel was extremely convenient as the main attraction is a short walk from the Motel. The suit consisted of 2 rooms with 2 double beds and a shared bathroom. The only down side to the shared bathroom was the water pressure, which made the shower more of a gentle mist than a shower. The pool was still open mid September which was great, however not heated so was a bit chilly to dip. Overall though this spot is clean, comfortable and a great value!

I say, My companion…read moreand I decided to venture up to America's Oldest Winery and we are rather pleased that we did! The Grounds are a series of mostly nineteenth and 20th century buildings which were improved and expanded upon as the winery's business and clientele grew. The tour and tasting were incredibly affordable at only $25 per-person and definitely worth the cost with an average of 5 glasses of wine and an hour long tour. That said, a couple of things could be improved upon. Firstly, our guide could have spoken much louder as we had a large group and certain factoids were difficult to hear. Secondly, the majority of the tour takes place underground in their active and historic cellars which, sadly, smell quite strongly of mold. Finally, the wine tasting was conducted without a glass of water to cleanse our palates. Instead, we were provided with a rather skint packet of oyster crackers. Despite the few shortcomings; the grounds and above-ground areas are well-organized, clean, and well-maintaned. The staff are courteous and the wines sampled were excellent, I even purchased a few bottles to take home. I hope to return another time when there are different wines in rotation! Good show! I most certainly want to return to do the tour and taste testing they offer. Considering this place is so close to church, maybe I can stop by after services and they can explain how Jesus turned water into wine. LOL! Really cool vibes at this place, can't wait to visit again.
