Glad it only comes around once a year Spirit Halloween store has great animatronics and displays of gory scenes everywhere. The selection of merchandise was ok, nothing you couldn't get from another store. Their prices seemed higher than others as well. I take my nephew there as its more of a haunted house operation. The service and staff are okay but needless to say they didn't go out of their way to give a lending hand. Spirit Halloween serves its purpose however, I'm glad this store only comes around once a year. read more

I went into this location today to look for Halloween costumes for my husband and I. While they had some stuff, I thought it was pretty pedestrian and boring. Nothing very creative or unique. I'll probably end up shopping online for something more interesting. read more

This store is lucky that they are only opened during the Halloween season. Under the poor management witnessed today, it would definitely be shut down. While in the store (the day before Halloween) I saw only four employees. One girl walking around. One guy in the back staying away. One grumpy manager. And one busy cashier. They had a line that was winding its way to the back of the store and only one cashier helping people. Some of us in line witnessed a person ship lift. When we finally got up to the front where the one cashier was working and the manager was grumpily huffing and puffing and counting money, the lady in line in front of me let them know that they should have someone by the door because she saw someone walk out with merchandise. The manager immediately starts to get upset with the lady demanding why didn't she go get her and so I told the manager that that is not the consumers responsibility . She got upset and walked away to stand by the door and yell at someone on her radio. Then the cashier tried to start lecturing the costumer about how she could've done more. The lady said she didn't want to cause a scene and the cashier continued to lecture her and tell her stuff and put the blame on her. So I intervened and told the woman not to let them make her feel guilty. And she said she was trying to help out. The cashier shook his head and I told the lady not to worry and that she shouldn't feel bad because it is not her job there to worry about their costumers. After that the cashier backed down. They were clearly understaffed and over worked. Bad management and poor costumer service all around. The manager was even pissing off her own employees. We came to this location hoping it would be a nicer location but that proved to be wrong. Hopefully next year they choose different management and a better more involved team. I couldn't believe that they got upset with the costumer on something that is their own fault. Just rude! read more

This location is smaller & the door doesn't work properly at all. As in you have to He-Man it open with two hands. having said that though the store is organized & the staff very helpful. I picked up a couple of Halloween fun stuff but will be back for a costume. read more

My 5 year picked out her Shimmer and shine costume with accessories. Approx $75 for everything. We were waiting in line when she suddenly told me she had to use the restroom. We got out of line, went to the back and asked an associate to let her use the restroom. The associate refused. He would not let her use the bathroom. She almost had an accident in the store. I left her costume on the counter and rushed her nextdoor to Joannes. They happily let her use the restroom. Upset I did not return to Spirit Halloween and instead purchased the costume on Amazon. Saved money too. Spirit Halloween needs to learn how to treat customers better. I will not return. read more

When I originally went in to get my kids costumes the dressing room staff was very friendly, which is why they are not getting 1 star. But that day I went shopping I forgot my coupon. So today I went into to refund the costume and repurchase with the coupon. Which they told me was possible. There was another item I had to pick up while I was grabbing that item, I guess its the manager Sherrie comes up and says she needs the original product. I had the receipt in hand and was willing to show her the exact costume. But that wasn't good enough I needed to show her the one I had in original package. Ok not a problem I have it hung up in my daughters closest unopened. Then Sherrie mentions that she not trying to say I don't have the product that she just needs to see it. Basically its still a I don't believe this product belongs to you bring it to me. So I drive home grab the costume and bring it in. Well I walk back in hand her my stuff she grabs the receipt and says I need the card. I have multiple cards so I ask to see the receipt so I know which card it was on. Well turns out the one time my husband uses his card was this day. So I told her that my husband paid if I can use my card that they are the same account she says no she needs his account. So I offer to call him and get the card number she says no. Pretty much seemed like she is just unwilling to help me at all. Her response just seemed like she didn't believe that this was my purchase and I was someone trying to get money back. The sad thing is I wasn't trying to get any money I needed to buy other products and trying to save a few bucks. So I ask whats the corporate number she claims she doesn't have one. Very frustrating moment which the manager or whoever she was made this customer feel very disrespected and will not ever shop there again. She needs to learn how to treat her customers.
