Was told when this booked that the bouncy house would be picked up the next day which was a Sunday , perfect because I don't want that behemoth sitting on my lawn for longer than 24 hours ! So when I didn't hear from them on Sunday I called and they told me it would be first thing Monday....ok ...not really acceptable but I understand. Now they are 2.5 miles away so when I called at 9:00 am Monday and the owner said they are on the way I say great . I did a couple of errands and came home around 10:15 to find their equipment still on my lawn . I called back and talked to the same "rude " so called 40 year in business owner to ask why it wasn't picked up yet and he went off on a tangent about this being the busiest weekend and 200 other customers and no help , and then went on and asked me if I was one of "those guys " who sat around and watched my lawn all day ! WTF ? Who does this guy think he is ? So .....I had to do a face to face with this arrogant so called business owner . Sure enough....just what I thought....jumped up in my face and proceeded to tell me I'ma "Kenny" .....ya know a male "Karen"....not once but at least five times ! He is a lucky man.... I would not recommend doing business with this man unless you get a written contract for drop off and pick up times . Very unprofessional.

While on the phone when booking we confirmed it was may 21st numerous times and at the end of the call the man even said " see you May 21st" I was never told to go check an email that was sent to me to confirm the info was entered correctly on your end. I figured seeing I was spending close to 400 dollars for a bouncy house for one day, that I was all set. It wasn't until the night before that I noticed I never got a confirmation email or call like I was told I would. That's what prompted me to get look for an email sent when booking and noticed it was scheduled for June 4th. So I called first thing in the morning to get this solved assuming the person that took my call accidentally entered that date wrong. The lady that answered was rude and took no accountability for anything. She sat there and pointed fingers at everyone else BUT the company's error. Repeating " how did you not catch this sooner" " this is why you should have checked the email." Listen I got that email WHILE on the phone booking, as the man I spoke to repeated multiple Times it was for may 21st and even repeated to say " see you may 21st" at the end of the call. Whether who thinks who is wrong in this situation, as a business I would have personally answered that phone and said " sorry about this confusion, let's see what we can do to fix it" instead of this lady sitting there question the customer (myself) on how WE didn't catch this error sooner. If someone is spending 350+ on my business I would just try and make it right. We have rented from you guys for quite a few years so it was extremely disappointed to be treated like garbage. The fact that then the woman said we would received the bouncy house after the party would have started? and then when they received a call from another family member of mine because I was extremely overwhelmed with how you were handling the situation, you continued to give them a hard time and when they got upset you proceeded to say you guys did not want to deliver to us anymore. Extremely unprofessional. This all could have been avoided with some better costumer service from the beginning. And we still have yet to receive an apology for this.

We tweaked one and restrung another and Lori was so helpful in suggesting how to fix them and how to care for them. While she was finishing one I kept finding one beautiful thing after another while searching my brain for who I could give them to! Almost everything is from local artists, including Lori, who makes gorgeous beaded jewelry. One item will make you laugh out loud and the next thing you notice might bring tears...that painting will soon be hanging on my wall. Enjoy!

For the first time, I bought a glowing window hanging thing--a cheapo poster that magically illuminates when you shine a light behind it, showcasing creepy hauntings to passersby on the street. I got the Jason with chainsaw one in Medford, but knew I should have more. Hence my trip out to Natick. Sadly, this location had very few decorations(or pet costumes, the second reason for my visit). However, if you need a (human) costume, this location is for you. Also weird was how I tried to call them the weekend before Halloween to check on stock of an item and the phone rang and rang and rang before going to a generic Verizon voicemail. Huh.

The other day I made a booboo while checking out and they were calm and pleasant when they had to re-ring up my whole stack of quarter yards - no eye rolling, just a deep breath and a wide smile. I was "having a day" and they couldn't have been more helpful. My latest find is their skeins of Queensland cotton worsted - the colors make my potholders sing and it has a great hand feel. I sing FPB's praises.

For example, there may be a really cute pattern in blue and green but you won't find the same pattern in any other colors. I find I can't source the majority of a quilt here. I do like that I can see solid colors in person, this is really helpful. Price per yard on all quilting fabrics is excellent. Ability to find novelty fabrics is good. Overall I find I don't do as well here as I used to do when they were in Framingham. Quilting tool selection is also limited.

We were really struggling because the "online florist" that was supposedly "local" missed delivery of flowers ordered 5 days earlier. USPS could get the gift delivered even though it was sent a week earlier. Joey arranged to have Scott come to our daughter's 25th birthday celebration at a local pub. Scott did an OUTSTANDING job making sure everything was coordinated as we live in Florida and were not onsite. Can't thank Scott and Joey enough for making this happen precisely as needed and without any friction at all!

It was like walking into the G.C. Murphy's store in the town I grew up in western PA in the 1970's. The blend of modern and classic toys is well thought out. I imagine the children of Holliston, MA are lucky to have such a nice place to visit in their own back yard. The owners are very nice people and I enjoyed just chatting as we patronized the well storied store. It's been a stable of the community since 1863. Look for the heart on the floor. It has a beautiful story surrounding it. My wife was drawn in to the store by the easel sign outside the store advertising Pokémon cards. Any grandparents who have preteen and teenage grandchildren know what that is. Even more enjoyable and impressive was the proprietor's knowledge of all things Pokémon! I know nothing about such things myself. As well as the toys there is a really nice selection of candy to select from. Some, that took me back to my youth again as well! We purchased a nice supply of candy and a few educational toys for our 2 year old granddaughter, and some Pokémon cards for our grandsons. They also have a charming display of big time pictures of customers who found valuable Pokémon cards in their packs of cards. As, well as lovely pictures that show how proud of grandparents they are!
