It's one of the places Zi like to visit to browse, find inspiration or discover something new, cute or adorable that one cannot find at local shops. There's Halloween merchandise already displayed, nothing new about that. It forces us all to accept the coming holidays. (As if we can forget just how time flies). I love browsing the clothing section, however limited it may be. Then I move on to smell soaps & candles. Incense etc. The indoor & outdoor furnitures are somewhat unique, I like the ones made in Indonesia or the Philippines, it reminds me of home. The food & snacks are fun, quite interesting. There's a section for making gift baskets with assorted spices, sauces, mustard, nuts, coffee & many more (like single serve bottles & containers, very cute!). There's pop up cards that are really adorable. I wish I knew how to make those, I'm sure I can Google some instructions if I'm feeling committed. This shop is fairly sizable at this plaza, parking is free and shared with plenty of other businesses. Nothing called out to me this time. I loved visiting though.

As soon as I walked in, I went straight to the counter to look at the beautiful brooches. One employee was helping another customer, so I patiently waited. When she finished, she looked directly at me, rolled her eyes, whispered something to another employee, and walked away without acknowledging me. I continued browsing the store for about 27 minutes. During that time, another employee appeared to follow me around the store, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Meanwhile, I noticed other customers being greeted warmly and offered assistance as they entered. I never received a hello, a welcome, or even a simple "Can I help you?" I had every intention of purchasing one of the beautiful brooches, but after being ignored, stared at, and made to feel unwelcome, I decided not to spend my money there. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of who they are. Unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed, and I hope the management addresses how customers are treated in the future.

Currently Pokémon cards are very hard to find because of the current popularity, and I went in here, hoping that they catered more towards kids because a lot of the big box shops that carry them are being overrun by adult collectors... I was sad to see that they had Pokémon cards in stock that were marked up 3X MSRP.... MSRP Pokémon cards cost a roughly $4.50 a pack.. they had Perfect Order single packs for $12 each. It looks like just one side of it is, but the opposite does have some life into it. A lot of stores, Spencer's is here, the food court is here, box lunch, a lot of surprising stores. Glad to see it has some life into it, but it also is extremely packed with dead stores and a lot of areas where homeless people gather and obviously do drugs and even break windows of some of these dead stores. They need to lease these stores and make them into new ones or just get better security to circulate the area. You can tell there's high crime around the area. Plus, I saw glass from broken car windows. Now I went to beyond this weekend at the NOS, and I know that this is actually pretty normal around this part of town, but that's crazy. Security needs to be increased for sure. Overall it is good to see a mall thriving, but low key, I did not feel safe here.

I'm not sure if it's economy based or because of theft. Parking here is crowded in some spots and dead in others. Near Pennys there's lots of parking but near the food court it's crowded.

For the actual store, the merchandise comes from small businesses, or independent makers, so there are some unique things you may find! There were a lot of farm-based items, and I ended up getting a few of the artisanal soaps. Parking was small. I was parked at the nearby Trader Joe's and walked over. But even that parking was insanely full on occasion.
