Diane and I made our obligatory holiday season trip to a See's store here to buy various chocolate treats for holiday presents, and a good dose of additional chocolate fancies for ourselves. Of late, we have moved more to sugar free chocolates than sugary treats, now including Sugar Free Chocolate and Butterscotch Lollypops as stocking stuffers. But we still give each other a sugary See's Chocolate Santa on Christmas Day, as well. No sugar free version of St. Nick is created, but a few changes to Santa's appearance are made year to year. For example, the 2025 Chocolate Santa wears glasses and looks older than the 2016 model. (See pics that follow.) Store personnel were friendly and helpful. But after receiving no free sample for the first time ever, I asked why no chocolate sample was offered to me as I paid for our purchases, and a staff member apologized, saying that she was responsible for not yet refilling available samples for customers, and immediately scrambled to do so, offering me my choice of chocolate treats. I opted for a piece of a Sugar Free Milk Chocolate Bar, and, biting down on it, observed that its velvety texture yielded a rich and sweet chocolate flavor with no hint that this product was sugar free. This store was pretty well packed with inventory and patrons, but it was already out of Sugar Free Peanut Brittle, which I would have liked to have purchased for ourselves. Perhaps I will return later to see if any restocking occurred. As a word to the wise: It is better to come here sooner in December rather than later. Close to Christmas this small store is filled with customers in weaving lines, and supplies of even the least desired items often run out. See's fine products are worth waiting for, and recipients will appreciate receiving them. But why not avoid extra aggravation by beating the Christmas rush? read more

I like this location and have been a customer for many years and the staff have been nice in the past. However, I picked up a bag of candies two days ago and even kept in fridge, I found a couple of bugs in the bag. Instead of complaining, I came back to store and asked to talk to manager in private because I didn't want the long line ( due to Valentine's day) to hear my concern. The manager was cold and defensive. Even other workers got rude and defensive towards me and gave remarks to show I was not telling the truth. I got another bag of candies and paid for it. I kept the conversation private, not complaining and just informing. The staff could have taken it as an opportunity to improve, at least be nice, apologize for the candy experience and be sympathetic about it. read more

I came here to get chocolates for my anniversary on 12.31. It was busy and the line was long but that wasn't a problem. Susie was so rude to her gentleman coworker who was very polite and patient. I don't know what the issue is, but to behave like that in front of a long line of customers was just egregious. There was a customer who needed a sample and she snapped at him to grab the sample and he asked for more clarification she said "I don't know, if that's what she wants!" in a rude tone. I felt badly for him. I never write reviews either. Whoever her supervisor is should investigate this unprofessionalism. read more

Every time I walk into a See's Candies store it reminds me of my childhood. See's Candies has been my favorite go to for about two years now. Every time I walk into this location, the staff is super friendly and patient. I normally get help from James. James always gives the best recommendations for gifts for my family members and kids, no matter the occasion (Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, etc.)!! Picked up a few truffle pieces of candy because this is my not so secret love of chocolate candies. LOL I love the taste of their truffles. It's so decadent and delicious. I only indulge in one or two pieces a day and I don't buy a large amount, just a few pieces and I usually pick the strawberry truffle as my free candy to get. Enjoy life to the fullest! I never have anything less than a satisfying experience at this See's location! They have hands down the most welcoming team that greets each customer with huge smiles and makes me feel like I'm chatting with old pals when I come by. I haven't been to this See's location for some time, but I ran in earlier today, and I was immediately greeted by both employees (Sydney and James) who were working the front. Sydney was absolutely amazing, kind and very patient with me and my 2 kids. She made fantastic recommendations for a gift box I was putting together and picked out awesome samples for my 2 picky kiddos to try . Sydney even arranged the chocolates in the box beautifully!! As Sydney was putting my box together I overheard James helping other customers and he was also very kind and very knowledgeable to the customers he was assisting. The store was incredibly clean and the displays were really pretty and eye catching. Seriously made me want to buy treats I didn't need! lol. Such a busy location. Drove by early valentines week trying to get candy for my fiancé super busy. So decided I'd come in early on the 12th try to beat the crowds. Lol no dice and todays its raining like crazy. The workers are all doing their best to keep things moving. The rearranged their line to keep use out of the rain and offered free samples to people waiting in line a few times. One worker even started to ask people of they knew what they wanted prepackaged to just help keep it moving. Never had a problem with See's candy in all my 60 years. Just goes to show time can bring about a change. I arrived 15 minutes before closing. There were 2 customers and I made 3. 2 employees were present. I helping a customer and the other sweeping the floor behind the candy counter. The employee sweeping was wearing only 1 glove. She stopped, put her broom down, came to the counter and asked me how she could help me. She didn't bother to wash her hands or change the one glove and put on two. I asked her if she was going to wash her hands before serving me and her reply was" I was just trying not to have you wait" I refused her service and requested she wash her hands and put on gloves. She went to the back but never came back. I waited for the other employee to serve me and she did change gloves after handling money and the previous customer. Customers beware, when going to See's at closing it is truly like a box of chocolates " you never know what you're going to get". I know people want things to go back to NORMAL, but NASTY should not be one of them. See's is still the best candy on earth but won't be going at closing ever again. read more

The lady helping us was not polite , could care less that we were there , and was just not very nice .
