I wish I can give a zero star review. I went today with my aunt, brother, and little cousin; we wanted to buy some sonny angels because we heard they sell them. We were so disappointed when we heard the prices for the little dolls. The original sonny angel website sells the dolls for $15. This absurd toy store sells them for $30-$40 for one! I would get if it was $30-$40 on eBay for the discontinued dolls but for the ones that have been on the website for years?! It's absolutely absurd that this place raised the prices for a blind box doll, looking to scam kids. I can buy 3 dolls with their prices. I called out one of the workers on their bullshit and she immediately turned red and uncomfortable because she knows what they are doing is wrong. Well I visited this store with my granddaughters. Poor customer service. The sales people are teenagers who are rude . They toys are marked up ridiculous in price. Some items were triple the mark up. I get that it's in the prestige area of Scarsdale but unacceptable. Older Children usually come in there and buy on their own but they're being ripped off. I came here with my daughter to buy toys for her birthday. Shes turning 6 so i feel like she's transitioning from little kid toys to older girl toys. They had toys for all ages which was great. I miss toys r us from my generation but my daughter had a blast in this toy store. They had all types of toys for every kids imagination. My daughter picked the huntrix toys, bag and hair clip which shes loved. The prices were pretty decent compared to most small toy stores these days. They have tons of parking and great staff. I come there with my son from time to time. It's a beautiful store decorated and organized beautifully with the latest toys. The toys are ALWAYS a hit with my son! HOWEVER! The staff is very dry! No personality whatsoever for a toy store this is surprising. No sense of humor. And they rush you along and follow you throughout the store. This is unsettling. I want to get out of there asap but my son likes to look at every toy causing an enigma. The prices aren't bad. It's slightly pricer than big business but the toys are worth it for some good finds! I'm reluctant to come back until my son brings it up. Bc I don't feel the urge to be followed around. Glared at and spend money. Would I come back. Probably the product is good. Although it is convenient to have a physical toy store, the selection is small. There are a lot of legos and some family games but none of the classics. They have a small selection of books and cards. It's organized well by age and subject. It seems like a lot of plastic, none of the sturdy wood toys i was looking for. They have some badminton sets but no extra rackets or birdies. I found a small magic kit. The kids love it which makes a joyful sound and everything is touched so just bring your hand sanitizer. read more

I feel like everything in this store is overpriced especially when you compare to what things cost on amazon however I would prefer to shop here because I want to sup port local business and they gift wrap. i had a recent shopping experience where i purchased a birthday gift for a child and after I made the purchase was told it was not eligible for gift wrapping since the item was on sale. Bad customer service! My son got a cash register for his birthday from this store. The register wouldn't open, so we brought it back. They said they needed to check it to see if it was really broken and would call me. As I expected they called and said it was broken and they had a new one for me. When I got there the woman told me this was the last time they would take things back and no one else ever had a problem with this toy. The staff was very rude when I tried to return a gift my son received from their store. They were giving me a hard time because the Funky Monkey wrapping sticker slightly ripped (a fingernail size rip on the outside layer of the box) the box of the toy. They told me "our local customers would not tolerate an imperfection on the box of the toy, so we are unable to resell this item." They asked accusingly if I had opened the toy, which I had not. After having two saleswomen inspect the box for several minutes, I asked whether I would receive a store credit. I was told "we are still thinking about it." I asked for the toy back and left the store. Will never shop there again. read more

I was in this store early afternoon on Friday excited to look for birthday gifts for my son who will becturning 2. Since he loves blowing bubbles, I was happy to see bubble displays by the front, but quickly became dismayed. Some boxes looked like they had been opened, with very little care in closing them. The staff was having romper room time of their own. The woman who I know is the manager walked up front, passes me, yelling to the staff, after they have been joking around, "I need help." YELLS. I love having such a cute, well stocked store in my area to shop for toys in. But i cannot ignore the inconsistencies in their customer service. If they ranged from great to just OK I could over look it, but they range from sometimes great to rude, abrupt, overtly unhappy and unhelpful depending on who you speak with and their mood at that moment.
