I recently rented a "Mr. mouse" costume for my daughter's first birthday which was a mickey and Minnie mouse theme. I looked into several places and ken's was def the cheapest by a long shot!. My daughter loved the costume and thought mickey was real... As always the owner was very nice and answered all my annoying questions without hesitation... I'm talking about - they got wall to wall Costumes, tons of Spooky Displays, and Halloween Accessories as far as any creepy crawling eye can see [and I'm guessing that's pretty freakin far ok]. This store is pretty big too with a raised 2nd floor area in the back it took me a long while to check this entire place out. What did I get?? Well you're just gonna have to wait until October 31st to find out, Lol!!    Now if it was up to me these kinda stores would be open all year round, but unfortunately just like the Holiday they only come around once a year. They have all kinds of cool decor and accessories for you to wear or to decorate your home for a Halloween party. If you can dream it up they have it. The employees are very friendly and helpful. So my son bought two of the same costumes just two different sizes, to go home and try on. when he went right back, after trying them on, to return them They refuse to refund my son. He spoke to the manager and he told him no as well. I called and tried to have this rectified on the phone with the main office . They also refused and refused to let me speak to ma supervisor. So they basically ripped off my son of $100. I think it is very unfair to take advantage of people especially in this day and age. I am not usually one to post this but I feel that we were not treated correctly and I ma tried of being taken advantage of. I will never be going to this store again nor ordering online. I will also be taking this to the next level.

This Spirit Halloween opens for the Halloween season where the Sears in Woodbridge Center used to…read morebe, although it occupies less than half of the upper level. The inventory here appears to be larger than that at the East Brunswick or South Plainfield locations. There is a slight department-store feel, since the space is so enormous and is divided into sections for children on the right and adults on the left. The first thing I noticed were kid costumes for Naruto, Bleach, Fortnite, Legend of Zelda, and Avatar Last Airbender--which are all popular albeit noticeably dated franchises. There was a large light-up set display in the back and another one in the front whose purpose I could not ascertain. Selfie stations, maybe? The adult costume selection is far less interesting, but I saw some costume sets for Coraline, Harry Potter, and Hanna-Barbera characters. If this store had newly licensed costumes from 2021 or later, I certainly couldn't find any. There are also about two racks' worth of basic makeup products and accessories by the far side of the store closest to the parking lot. It's nice to see this old, empty, depressing space being used for something festive since Sears closed in spring of 2020. Will plan to be back on November 1st. Pretty cool and large Halloween Warehouse that is kind of like Spirit. We just stopped in when I was in Brooklyn looking for a specific something that they didn't have, but I did like the store, and the prices were pretty decent as well. Pretty similar to Spirit, as I said, in a lot of ways but possibly even cheaper. Only appears at that special time of year when Americans think about killing lots of people and going on serial murder sprees. Oh wait that's all year round.
