This place is ok.... they actually let you try things on. This is especially important when you have itin the change room out of the package and discover that it looks nothing like the photo on the front. Many of the pre packaged costumes are made from cheap material, and are poorly designed. They don't fit like they should in the most bizarre area. So for this reason I am very glad you can try them on. They do however have a large selection of accessories. I suggest you make your own costume, or buy elsewhere, then come to this place for the finishing touches. The right accessories will make the costume complete. read more

Fake blood, costumes, and Halloween decorations galore! Spirit is exactly what you look for in a Halloween superstore. It's quiet now but I'm sure in a month this place will be packed. Prices range as with any costume shop - and do it yourself is still better/more creative... but for the basics or last minute costumes spirit is where it's at! read more

They have a variety of costumes, props, accessories, and more to choose from. I find since they change location each year, the variety of items will depend on the location size. Staff is friendly and they have change rooms to try on for the right size. Prices are a bit more (maybe $5-10 pending on the item) compared to other locations. That being said I find there aren't as many stores that has the same variety in selection. read more

Every Halloween (2 months before) there is a pop up shop of costumes. Of course the costumes are stocked based on the popularity of what is available and what is on sale rather than what is preference. In other words, they do have a selection of generic but some hot characters. The layout is a bit tight for the space that was provided. It's just a little poor mapping on their part and can get crowded very very quickly. Customer service was friendly. I came here to pick up a Ninja Turtle costume and some decorations. read more

I bought 'Lunging lily in the box from Spirit in 2016 but when I got it home I realized that it was a floor model....totally already put together and a little dirty. Her voice box didn't work. They wouldn't take it back even though it was a week before Halloween. I was disappointed about customer service. read more

I bought a costume here, and oh boy.... you SHOULD try it on before you buy it because chances are they won't return it even if you are following their return policy. Two days later, I came by because I found out the costume was too big and this was also the smallest size they carried. The manager wouldn't return it simply because I had opened the accessory...do they not realize I simply opened the accessory to try it on with the costume? I was excited about my NOW wasted costume. Nowhere on their policy for returning items does it say it can not be opened..it only says you must have the accessories in new condition which I obviously did. Hoping none of you will be fooled by this! See ya later 40$, I'll never get back. read more
