It will work, it will suffice, but I'm sorely disappointed. And apparently they have pricing issues. As I was there, the customer before me was buying tombstones, Supposedly buy 2 get 1 for a penny. They weren't coming up. When the cashiers went to find the manager, it took several minutes to find her and she stalked up to the register, did what was needed, but there was no desire to help, and she stalked off behind a curtain the moment she wasn't needed.

This particular store had a varied selection although the adult selection was picked over so you had to look to find your size. Unfortunately, this close to the big day, there is a "No return" policy. I think it usually takes effect the final week before the holiday. But the state was clean and neat, well as neat as can be expected. The staff were friendly and they kept checkout lines moving quickly. Nothing was on sale, that happens the day after Halloween. Prices were reasonable depending on how elaborate a costume you wanted. The one I chose was understand $40.

Hope those few who I found disappointing can find jobs after their seasonal employment is over.

I'm a normal sized female but the costumes sold in plastic bags @ party stores are for an "average adult". Well maybe if you're a size 4/6. So I went by the store. She had kindly pulled all of the type of costume I was looking for and placed them on a rack. No way! The items were in poor condition and all closer to the size I found in the party store. I found one that fit but was so unattractive I was not interested. She was stuffed to the gills with costumes and I can only speak to what she showed me. The fringe was ragged, the costumes looked like they needed to be cleaned/dry cleaned and were not what I expected. In all fairness I've never rented a costume before and if this is indicative of the standard costume rental store l'll not rent any costume. Again the woman was kind and helpful but this is not for me.

But I noticed that the very next morning, the smaller (latex) ballons were already falling to the floor. I put in a complaint about it when prompted for a general review via email, and only a few minutes later, a manager called! I forget his name by now, but he was fantastic and really understands customer service. He did explain that the regular latex balloons don't tend to last more than 24hrs, so that is good to know and set my expectations for next time. However, he still refunded me. I just had to stop into the store to get the refund completed. Because of this, I will always go to Party City (and this specific location) for my party, balloon, and general celebration needs!
