Trying to get a quote for making a purchase of one of their "high end" vehicles and they felt it wasn't necessary to keep open communication and get back to the customer. After finally making contact with the Sales Manager (who was my contact) had some excuses and after I shared my information from reaching out to other dealerships, he was NOW ready to make me a bogus offer and rattled off verbally the offer and asked if I was ready to move forward. Interesting ...not how a person in a responsible position should be dealing with customers. After not getting an instant response, he stated he needed to move on - he was busy. Really ...what about my time tracking him down for a week! I was not the salesperson here! I want to give a "shout out" to Joe, in sales who was more than kind to spend some time with me when I stopped in to see the Sales Manager, to drop off some information who already had left for the day. Don't lose Joe - he is a great face for your organization, Barry. In conclusion, I am sorry I had this experience after purchasing many vehicles over my years and finally when I thought you can expect more transparency from a dealership. I was told online I would qualify for the GM discount. I was told emphatically YES. I went to buy a new car and the man at the desk (David) who told me I would get the discount denied it and said he never said that. I showed him the text messages he sent me and he began screaming at me and telling me to go somewhere else. I've never been treated so poorly. Luckily greenwood took care of me. They also valued my car way under what greenwood gave me by $1300. Best to steer clear from these cons. read more

I'm definitely will never recommend anyone to here so I bought my car here and equino I found it used on a good car comparison site so I called said I wanted to get it and test drive etc. So on the day of my appointment to come see SUV they said they had another buyer and tried selling me a color and model I didn't want so I walked then I get called back at end of day they said the buyer was amazingly not wanting it so I go to test drive it it wasn't washed wasn't even cleaned when I went for the drive was missing a visor but any way so I decided to make an offer it was posted a 8000 I think it's been awhile so I have all cash and say I going to pay all cash so I offered 7000 and they did there I need to go talk to my manager etc. they come back said the price was posted wrong I tried asking for 9000 luckily I saved website pictures of price and description and it had the original price and what all was in it so I ended up paying 8000 cash with tax and fees so one week later the engine starts knocking and oil is just disappearing into nowhere the take it in they said they fixed it get back same thing knock all the oils gone no puddles under car they take it in three days later I pick it up again they said it was good mind you it was under a 60 day warranty I thought so a third time this happens its sensors for engine came on and remote start wouldn't start car they take it in 5 days the I get it and they say it was fixed checked fluids and drove around area before I went home it was running good everything working so a week later the cars stalls in middle of freeway going 75-80mph I had to toss it in neutral and have to turn in over while costing it started back up and there were lights popping on everywhere so I drive to them tell them what happened and they said my warranty was up and they couldn't do anything luckily I still had save website offer and details show it to them they wouldn't honor it and then the car completely dies days later I take it in to a real shop the told me the lita of problems happening and said the oil was going back into the engine block that's why there was no signs of where the fluids were going so the bill come out to over 5 grand it needs a new engine and I save the reports from the dealership shop he said they were not even fixing it changing censors etc. so I was going to sue under lemon law and I was able to but I ended up getting disabled so my new mechanic found a recall on the engine and it paid for everything to be fixed and he did it for me and its been great ever since I'm not going to give names cause they we're family friends the one dealer but I would never buy anything for this place again not even a candy bar the owners need to get there shit together cause it's a shit show there read more

I exchanged emails with a salesperson named Maria Dienes and I offered to pay the asking price of $17,000 if they included shipping to Arizona. Maria agreed that was a fair deal and I gave her a credit card deposit (See proof attached). I asked for more photos and the sales agreement. Exactly one week later I received an email (See attached) indicating the asking price was now $17,995 and I would need to pay the $2,000 shipping cost for a total of $20,283.50. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We were traveling on the turnpike and our car started acting funny. We quickly learned we wouldn't make it to our location. I found a car online I wanted to purchase... after being pre approved for it I drove an hour after work to pick it up. While signing the documents I was told how they were able to get it certified used. I was happy and continued to sign papers. When final loan document was put in front of me I noticed that my $13,459 dollar emergency car was now a $19,000 emergency car... I asked how that happened and was told that was price of certification and gap insurance. I didn't want or need either but was told I saved $50 a month on loan by having it. Being dead tired and NOT thinking straight I just accepted it and went about my day... not also realizing that they had ran the loan out to a unreasonable term and THAT is how they got the payment so low that I didn't realize the costs.... We wanted to try to give Spitzer another try with their service department as we had a bad experience awhile back; however, when Mike, the service representative answered the phone, he was more than annoyed. He had issues finding us in the system and basically was very unfriendly. He seemed as though I was bothering him with questions. No more tries for you Spitzer Chevrolet of Lordstown. He was very helpful and not a typical pushy car salesman. He truely is a great guy who let me and my fiance look first within our own space before showing us cars. After I bought my car he made sure to keep in touch to see how I liked my car. A month later my fiance bought a 2012 Chevy Sonic LT. He also had Nick help him with the buying process. The finance department was extremely helpful with my fiance and really helped that end to make sure hed get the right financing that suited his wallet. I am extremely impressed with their customer service and the constant touch base they keep with their customers. Everytime we go in there for an oil change, tire rotation or just a check up, I also get a hellp from Nick and great treatment from the rest. And before I finish about a week ago my fiance's brother just bought a Sonic like my fiances from Spitzer he didnt have Nick as his salesman, but he was still treated with great service!
