But, wanted our son to be old enough to participate with us. We did it together in June! A random Google search and good reviews led us here. Our instructor Joe treated us like family. He took extra care with our son being patient and repetitive until he mastered the safety skills. Katie helped out mama bear with breathing and buoyancy. Hubby was previously certified and did his refresher alongside us. He also picked out our gear like a kid in a candy store. For those of you who are experienced divers he has a style for you also. He gets you to the site, provides you with a safe and friendly experience but lets you do your own thing. Perspective: New diver with my veteran buddies on Scubatyme III for a Veterans Day/Marine Corps birthday dive. With that out of the way, I was nervous! New. Like NEW diver! The captain and dive master were top notch, masterclass. They made me feel completely comfortable and I knew that I was in good hands once we approached the dive site. This place is great for getting marine fuel and the staff that works here is very nice…read more This used to be a nice place to visit either before or after dining at one of the waterfront restaurants to watch the beautiful boats coming down the intercoastal waterway. There were a variety of Adirondack chairs to enjoy, but they were removed, and now there is no place to sit anymore. I dont suggest standing in the grass because too many people let their dogs relieve themselves instead of going to a dog park. There is a convenience store that sells ice and beverages and a variety of other needs, but their prices reflect them being a convenient location.

Joe was our SCUBA instructor and was an amazing teacher that focused on safety first. He went above and beyond, including letting us learn in his personal pool when the public pool closed. Every day was filled with education and also fun! We went to blue heron bridge as well as the Boynton ledges for our dives.
