In my first class, Christine was so welcoming and caring - it is enthralling to be present in her passion to let everyone be immersed in the joy of pottery. Priscilla is the same in her compassion and knowledge. They are two wonderful women who allow this beautiful place to flourish with incredible art lovers from all walks of life. Members come from all over Fairfield county and beyond - I'm lucky it is in my town. Teaching pottery is difficult because everyone progresses differently and the instructors here do an amazing job or balancing the individual handholding and maintaining order of the class. While I work on my pieces, I get to observe some of the instructors whether they teach a group class or a private tutoring class. To share a few shoutouts: Safiya is fantastic with teens in boot camps - (I just learned that she is starting to teach Friday evening classes!) Julie also is a caring and competent teacher. Cass is an outstanding instructor with a wealth of knowledge; and Kate is such a sweetie, too! All Everyone is here because we love the joy of creativity and respect each other's artistic abilities. I enjoy conversations that accompany creating art across diverse age/gender/backgrounds here. There's something for everyone. Whether you are a tired parent looking for a mental health respite, an exhausted soul looking to enrich your artistic side, or to glimpse wonders in your own creation in general, I would recommend that you pay a visit and talk to the owners what you would like to do. World Class Driver's Ed…read more Licensing a new driver, with all the requirements, including driver's ed, can be a maelstrom of confusion. I had already traveled the gauntlet to get my son's permit (although The Next Street can facilitate this as well), and entered the arena to understand and enroll him in the required driver's ed. I came across The Next Street, a company that is absolutely best in class. I called and was quickly connected to a terrifically informative, organized, caring and delightful representative, who explained the system with an ease that made a potentially complicated project very simple. an excellent start that took away the anxiety I was feeling about getting this right. the program includes both education and the actual driver training all at a very fair price. immediately after signing up, I received numerous emails with tons of beautifully organized details, that made it perfectly clear what all the forthcoming steps would be. this was followed with the good fortune of being enrolled in a class with an extraordinary talent; a teacher who has kept my son engaged with tremendous knowledge, excellent ability to communicate, a great ability to manage mostly teenagers in the zoom class, a sense of humor and a way of entertaining while educating and keeping all enthusiastic. this is truly best in class.
