We signed up for the membership and go tickets for about $7 each which is pretty good. There's a lot more space that I was expecting in each theater, and our movie was packed. Definitely going to consider getting tickets online next time so we can get better seats. I recommend this spot if you live in the area and want to see a movie!!

But honestly, this place is TRASH as a movie theater. The screens are uniformly way too dark. Go see a vivid superhero movie and it looks like it was shot through a dark scrim. That's OK, though. The sound will deafen you even as you see nothing but a dark grey muddle. The cheapness extends to the amenities. They use nasty-ass bottom-of-the-barrel liquid soap in their bathrooms. Have a slash, wash your hands, continue eating your popcorn and congrats -- you now get to eat soap-flavored popcorn. The horrific synthetic small of this pink industrial slime will not leave your fingers for DAYS. Were you hoping that a neighborhood movie theater would have staff on hand to control the feral moviegoers talking on their phones and causing a ruckus during your film's climax? Haha, good luck with that. The AMC a mile away on Western is one of the worst places I have ever seen a movie. What frustrates me about the Logan is that it COULD be GREAT ... but simply isn't. All because they're cheap about their projection equipment and basic amenities.

The ornate atmosphere really heightened the appealing vibe, and the friendly, helpful staff was also very much appreciated. I did wind up ordering popcorn, and while it was pretty expensive for such a small bag, the popcorn tasted fresh and it wasn't too salty, either. The Music Box is definitely a pretty cool place. I went to AMC in block 37 to see the Michael movie. The location is very convenient right in the…read moreloop so it was easy to walk there from my place. It is on the 4th floor and there are lots of signs to guide you to the correct location. When I went over the weekend the elevators weren't working so I had to take the escalators. I was able to buy my movie ticket on the AMC website and there was no line to have the staff scan my ticket to get in. There are kiosks that make it super easy to order your popcorn and they even have a bar in there. The bartender told us each drink comes with 3 shots so my friend got a margarita and she said it was really good! The large popcorn was tasty. I was able to add extra butter to it and get a free refill so I could share with my friend. Next time I go I will just order the regular popcorn as I had a lot left over. The seats in the AMC theater are recliners which were really comfortable. I will come back to this theater next time I want to see a movie!

The theater itself is cool with their video of vortex (VHS/DVD rental area) and throwback movie posters throughout. Food and drinks are now ordered via a QR code and servers bring your food and drink orders directly to you at your seat. One plate of food - chicken tenders and fries - took almost an hour to arrive! Not sure what happened there. Overall, the food was fine, we had mozzarella sticks and popcorn as well. I wouldn't say anything was mind blowing, but it was good. After the movie, the women's bathroom lights were out so it was super dark and the door to the stall I was in didn't close. All in all a sub par experience. Sounds like Alamo needs a lil maintenance.
