    Given expired passes!!!

Horrible Was giving expire tickets & due to a mishap the last time we were here & was pretty much told unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about it ‼

I enjoy both of the movie as well as the theater! I tend to come here a lot but never remember to review this dine in theater. It's always clean and they have great customer service but sometimes it's hard to find people to help. The theater is quiet and great for dates, family nights or solo movie dates. I do really appreciate the fact that not only is the theater itself is clean but the concession stand as well as the bathrooms are always taken care of. Of course like with all theaters, food and snacks are expensive but you do get some discount if you're part of the AMC movie club. Definitely come check out a movie here as well as the food and drinks. They have a full bar and they will make a special drinks for you if you ask.

This AMC has to be my favorite movie theater to visit in the whole city. It's always clean, never too crowded, and the employees are always very nice and helpful. For me, the big reason I love this theater is the food options. I get the loaded Tater Tots every visit and they never disappoint! They have tons of other dining options, and it's definitely a plus that they bring it to your seat in the theater! The only downside is that it's in the middle of downtown so parking is difficult to find and/or quite expensive. It's also near a play theater, so there's often a lot of traffic near Block 37 depending on the time of day.

I really enjoyed my time at AMC DINE-IN Block 37. The service was good, and the overall vibe was clean and cozy--especially with fewer people in the theater, which made it feel more homely and relaxed. The reclining chairs were super comfortable and perfect for unwinding. One suggestion: clearer signage or instructions would be helpful. The kiosk said my food would be delivered, so I assumed drinks would be too--but I guess that was my mistake. Just a little clarification there would make things smoother. Since we dealing with machines and not humans. Other than that, great experience! www.carlinecreate.com

First time here and loved this theater! Good food options that can be ordered ahead of time when I purchased the tickets online and food is delivered right to your seats. Seats fully recline with a raised foot rest and the table swings over your lap for eating. Everything was great!

Worse scary movie experience ever ! Who wants to pay $23 to watch horror with lights on, especially that bright one blaring right in your face ! Totally ruined the vibe. I even got up to ask someone to dim the lights. I get they bring food to your seat but that's only in the first 20 min of movie. *idk how to reply to AMC response, but I did in fact walk out the auditorium to speak with someone about it, he said he would look into it, and the lights still were not dimmed even 1% more

A very nice theatre at the top of Block 37 mall. No CS agents, only kiosks, but a rep was available at guest services, which was perfect because I needed assistance with my AMC Stubs account. They have a bar and the women's restroom was very clean. Your food gets delivered to your seats, but I appreciated being able to pick up the bag of popcorn we bought. The seats are much larger than the standard ones, reclining and comfortable and these are the best of all of their theatres, I think. They are pricey but all theatres are now. As with others, there are discounts for matinees and most of the earlier times. Great for an occasional outing.

We were looking for a break from our marathon Chicago walking, and decided to catch a movie. This is a dine in theater, and the seats are really comfortable. They are fully reclining with foot rests, and go back so far, you could literally sleep in them. If you go here before 4pm they offer discounted pricing, I think our tickets were $13. Our theater was small, and even though it was a weekend, there were only a handful of patrons in the entire theater. That's likely because the movie had been out for quite some time, and theaters tend to be slow during the day. That's why we usually go at off times, we find it's quiet and more enjoyable. You can order food at the lobby kiosk and it will be delivered to your seats. Since we had lunch prior, we don't know how the food is here. Seats are assigned, which is always a plus. The theater was clean and looked to be in good shape, it's on the fourth floor of the mall.

Had a late night viewing of Insidious here and we had a good time. We bought our tickets online and we were surprised when each ticket came out to be $23 each. Not including snacks or anything extra - just the movie ticket. We arrived about 20 minutes before the movie started and the lobby was fairly empty. The employee was nice and scanned us in right away. We then headed to the kiosk and purchased popcorn, tenders, and a drink. Paid about $30 for snacks. Once inside the theater room we sat down and the seats were very comfy. My food slowly started coming out and we dug in. The popcorn and tenders were both really good. The French fries were also good, they were hot and crispy. The movie was great but people were being loud for no reason which was super annoying. I'm not sure why grown people think its ok for them to add their own sound effects... We were too scared to say anything to them because we were in Chicago after all...

Come here very often to watch movies. Recently I came here to watch Black Bag movie. And order the loaded fries. They are good.

Ask the Community - AMC DINE-IN Block 37

Are the movie screens the same size as a traditional theater?

Old-time theaters- No. Multiplex- Yes, on the larger end of multiplex screens.

Is the food included or separate when purchasing tickets?

The food is a separate charge

Do they ever turn the lights out?

No, not really. It's kinda annoying actually.

Does anyone know if they accept the Yellow AMC passes you can buy through Costco?

    What's the best parking?

There's a parking garage below the ground floor. Have no idea what the price is.

How early should you be for a movie?

Usually they start letting people in 15 min before the movie starts.

Me and a few friends would like to see a movie here, but we are under 18. The movie we want to see is a PG rated movie. Are we able to see the movie without parents?

Assuming you're in your teens, yes.

This movie is one of my go to movies and the whole concept blew me away the first time I saw it and I still love the concept. The Rooftop Cinema Club Fulton Market is located The Emily Hotel, on the rooftop (hence the name...HAHAHAHAHA!) The layout is quite nice. You enter on the 6th floor but to access the cinema requires you to go outside and down a flight of stairs. There is a bar to the left as you enter that serves cocktails, bubbles (yay!) and some food (pizza, chicken tenders, walking tacos, etc.) and to the right you can pick up your headphones and tickets for popcorn (if you purchased a ticket that includes popcorn). Seating consists of Adirondack chairs and loveseats. I purchased a loveseat, which ended up costing me about $75 in total (price of ticket, fees) but I wanted to spread out and have space to put my feet up and have a table next to me for my food and drinks. Seating is first come, first serve, which I am cool with. I love that they had astroturf on he ground, it felt nice taking my shoes off and feeling it on my feet. When checking in, you get this nice set of headphones to listen to the movie through. I was wondering how that was going to work with the street noises downstair. The person handing out the headphones made it a point to let me know that the headphones were ready to and had been sanitized. The Adirondack loveseat was comfortable and I was able to spread out and enjoy the movie in style. I took a bed seating pillow with me as didn't know what to expect in terms of comfort. While I was glad I took it, it wasn't really needed as the cushions in the chair were just fine. But it did come in handy as a pillow so I could walk the movie in a reclining position. This can be an expensive movie if you are like me, requiring some space, comfort, good eats and bubble. As I mentioned, the ticket for the loveseat was about $75, plus an additional $100 for bubbles and food, but I am worth it. That said, while I loved the experience, I am not a fan of the programming to date. There are offerings that I am sure most people love to see, I am not a fan of them. But the minute they have a movie I want to see, like Inception, Alien/Predator/Resident Evil franchise, to name a few, I will be back to the Rooftop.

He rented out the space, he generously provided an assortment of snacks and drinks and provided his own copies of the movies on Blu Ray. It was a great time. I bought tickets online so I simply had them scanned upon arrival. Having to wait in line for a kiosk to open up would be incredibly annoying. I saw Scream 7 opening day, so the theater was packed. I walked right to the concession stand only to find a long line at the only available kiosk. Rather than wait in line, we ordered via the AMC app. I'm not sure if doing that was much faster, but we were at least able to skip the line. The bathrooms could definitely use a refresh. It smelled, and the toilet paper was running low. Some of the soap dispensers were also empty. I went to an IMAX showing and found the seats really uncomfortable. They've been updated, but they're definitely not as comfortable as the old Icon red recliners. They also don't recline as much, which sucked. The popcorn was fresh and hot, though, which is a big plus. The AMC theater in the burbs that I usually visit dumps popcorn from bags into the counter storage area. I also just saw the Michael Jackson movie there too and had a similar experience. I rarely go to the movies in the city, but if I do, I might have to go to AMC on Columbus or Block 37. I'm not sure if I can keep this location on the list.

Judging by the reviews, I'm not alone here…read more I've been a longtime fan of the ICON Theater at 1011 S. Delano Ct E, so I was excited (and a bit cautious) when AMC took over. Unfortunately, the rebrand hasn't been a great experience so far. The biggest change is the shift to touchscreen kiosks for both tickets and concessions. While convenient in theory, it removes a lot of flexibility and human interaction. Once you order, you're funneled through the system with little room to make adjustments or ask questions without jumping through hoops. For example, I ordered Impossible nuggets and selected one sauce. When I tried to ask for a different sauce at the counter, I was told I had to go back to the kiosk and place a new order. I ended up speaking to three different people, including a manager, just to swap or add a $1 sauce. That level of rigidity is frustrating and unnecessary, and it actually made me late for my movie. Another issue is the bar and grill. I arrived early hoping to sit at the bar while waiting for a friend, but I was told I couldn't enter unless I had already purchased a movie ticket. Since we planned to buy tickets together, I couldn't go in. Even security didn't understand the policy. It feels shortsighted, why have a bar if people can't access it freely? It limits both customer experience and potential business. On the positive side, the theater itself is still great. The seating remains comfortable, and the movie experience hasn't changed much from the ICON days. Overall, though, AMC has made the experience more complicated and less customer-friendly. The over-reliance on kiosks and strict policies takes away from what used to be an easy, enjoyable outing. I'm glad the space still exists, but I hope improvements are made, especially when it comes to customer service and accessibility. 2 out of 5 stars.
