They have given all of our babies their vaccines with no problems at all (even the BAD one that bites). They boarded our dogs for a week even though one is not friendly and will bite. We have never been able to board him before and go anywhere without him. We had to make the decision to put down one of our rescued dogs and it broke our hearts. Dr. Pritchard and his staff did everything they could and even stayed after hours with us on a Friday. We can't say enough good about Ogeechee Vet but we would highly recommend them!!! Chip & his assistant at the time, saved my moms dog from dying after she got into poison in a nearby yard. They saved me thousands by helping me figure out the correct diet for my Great Dane when she was having joint issues. They always get us in and out in a timely manner, and they are the cheapest vet we have ever been to. Cheap usually means poor service, but that is not the case here. If you want your animals taken care of and loved, bring them here!

Since Gradous retired and the new veterinarian couldn't keep up, all appointments were redirected to Burke County Animal Hospital. So I was house and dog sitting while my daughter was on vacation in August. Her dog Remi had a hole in her hip from an old injury and she needed to get looked at immediately. I'm talking open wound oozing out of a 10 yr. old Pitbull mix. She was hit by a car when she was a year old and had a metal plate held on w/screws put in at Columbia, SC emergency surgery. So 9 years later these foreign objects are pushing themselves out. I called Burke County and explained why and what and they told me I could come in the next morning and take X-rays and that's what happened. When I got there, they were busy. But everything went pretty swiftly(2 hrs) and I was given medication for Remi and ultimately ended up having to take her to Columbia for another surgery to remove the screws and plate. She's doing fine now and I appreciate the service I got from the whole staff. Especially the women at the front desk. They even called Columbia for me and set everything up.
