After aggressive PT, additional nerve stimulation was needed to prevent falling. That's when I went to SFT. I had researched various options with my PT team & on my own before my appt. After a brief history I told him which dorsiflex stimulator I wanted a referral for. I showed him what I could do on my own. Then I admitted my preference to being barefoot. He agreed & sent my referral off. I promised if it didn't work I'd be open to wearing shoes at home.

I've left 5 messages and called 12 times in the past 2 weeks and finally got the receptionist to call back, but she failed to get the estimate she promised she would have before my appt with the doctor, so I had to cancel the appt. Last time I went, there was a billing error that took 6 months to get corrected, so I didn't want to risk that again. I'm disappointed as I actually really like Dr. Babol. It's her front desk staff that aren't professional.
