HORRIBLE. DREADFUL. AWFUL. I rarely write reviews on yelp but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had regarding any service I have ever paid for. I gave this joker my laptop a month ago he said it would be done in a few weeks. I never heard anything from him. Finally decided to check in the store and see what was up the guy said he didn't know where the laptop was. Basically told me to get out and he'll find it. I call the store the next day he says he found it and it will be done today. I call back same day he says oh tomorrow. Basically he continued to BS me over and over until I finally went to the store and said I'm not leaving without my laptop. He said he didn't know where it was and that he had looked everywhere and couldn't find it. I started looking around the store and immediately found it haphazardly discarded on a shelf in his messy store. So basically he took my money 1 month ago, through the laptop on his shelf and never touched it again. Also he lost my charger so he gave me a random one he just found. Please don't give any business to this guy. He is a clown and a scammer. It's like an experiment where a homeless drug addict is given a computer store to run. Ridiculous. read more

Spokane Laptops - Wrong charger. - IT Services & Computer Repair Near Me - Spokane, Washington

Totally unprofessional. Store looks like a cyclone blew through. I was told my computer would be ready in 24 hours; took 5 days. When I set up my computer at home I discovered he had forgotten to load an internet browser. Had to drive computer back to store so he could load. I was running Windows 10; he upgraded to Windows 11 without telling me. My old Quicken software wouldn't run with 11, so I had to buy new Quicken software. He set me up with a subscription to Windows 365 using my credit card info (from when I paid him for the repair) without asking me or notifying me. It was a free trial and I was able to cancel the subscription, but he should have asked before using my credit card! read more

Needed keyboards repaired on two laptops. Work was done well, both laptops are working great! Two concerns: 1. Time taken for the repairs. They were originally supposed to be completed on a Thursday, then it was Friday, then Monday. Again, the work done was great, just not timely. 2. It was kind of a mess in the store. I'm not one to talk, as my desk isn't always the best organized, but it made me pause when I saw it. Bottom line: prices were decent and the job was done well = 3/5 stars If I needed a quick job done, would look elsewhere. read more

I went the on 12/18/2022 to check on my laptop, The shop is close for good. he is the laziest person on earth. I have called and even went by there to check the progress; he said that the battery is it coming but never arrive. His word was, I will call you when the battery come in. Jerry never calls. Bought a charger for my laptop here. Nice he had one in stock and it was OEM. He was knowledgeable and asked size,amps, etc which was good. Unlike the other places I called. Told me $20 over the phone. I got there and above the chargers it says $15 for used chargers. I give him a $20 and he says thanks. I say where is my change. He says I quoted you $20 over the phone. I say but your very large sign over where the charger was says used chargers are $15. He said he wasn't giving me change. Maybe he smelled out of towner on me? Friendless severely lacking. A few stars for having what I needed and not being an idiot like the other places I called, but come on man. From a business owner to another, don't try and dick over customers. What you lose in your few dollars will cost you more in the long run. read more

On the contrary, it was $25. Jerry you say I "reeked" of alcohol when in all actuality you were the belligerent one with a pungent odor. Seems that Jerry the owner of Spokane Laptops thinks he can bully me into taking my review down. First of all, I contacted Yelp about this, and they said that No Business is allowed to tell anyone to take their review down nor offer monies to do it. Which Jerry has done. First he offered me $50.00 to take it down, I said no I won't do it, Now, he is offering me $100.00 Plus he still is telling me that he has all these years in the internet world and can make my life a living hell.. Look, All I wanted hi to do was fix the Screen on my Lenovo Laptop. He took the laptop in, then a few days later, I called to see if it was repaired, He said he had to send off for the part since he didn't have it. So almost a week goes by without a phone call, I finally call him,, he says,, I still haven't received it.. I call a few days later to see if he has gotten it... He says no he hasn't. 2 weeks goes by. before I had called him again. And he said he got the part, but Now something else is wrong with my laptop. Remember I only asked him to fix the Screen. The Mother Board was bad he said. I have no idea about a Mother board,, so a few days later I finally I turn on my Roku Streaming Device and go to You Tube and see what this Mother Board is all about. Look, I think it could have been repaired ONLY if Jerry would have allowed me to make that decision.But he didn't .. What he did was offer me a laptop that I took home, And plugged in ,,and then found that the volume didn't work. So I took it back,, He said that is as loud as they get.. I must say.,, My Lenovo's Volume was very high. And I could hear every word someone was saying. So, I went home, and a few days later he called saying he had another laptop,,, It was a Dell, 17 inch Monster... By the time I got to Jerry's Shop, he was still charging?? or doing something with.. When I was standing there,, Something popped up and saying something like the battery needed to be replaced, So he rummaged around and found a battery and gave me that 1 hour warranty...But by the time I got home,,, that warranty had expired,, I took the bus that day. and it took me an hour to get home!!!! Then there was the problem with the curser it kept on its own.. just moving all over the screen.. I could not figure out how to stop it. It also had 127 updates to preform.. So now Jerry is retaliating against me. He now seems to think that writing a responds on My review will be fine.. Well,, its not... I am not a hot head, I just wanted him to fix the screen on my laptop. And it got all out of sorts. Why had it taken 2 weeks for that part to come in?? is what I want to know??? And NO I won't accept that $100.00 for a bribe to take down this review or the first one. He thinks he can scare me into submission, by saying he has internet connections also... OH.. by the way,,, I never did put that Hard Drive into my New Laptop,,, and all my passwords are changed... These working conditions results in two or three laptops being damaged monthly. Over the last three years I have purchased dozens of laptops from Spokane Laptops. I would rate my experience as excellent. We have laptops that we have purchased used from Spokane Laptops that have been in use 24/7 for the last three years. If you are looking for value in the low to med range PC market in Spokane, there simply is no better choice. I do not know the owner beyond the short conversations I have had as I purchased computers. This review was not solicited from him in any way. I have been using Spokane Laptops for several years now. We have bought 4 laptops from them. We also had several repairs done there. The owner, Jerry, has always treated us fair. We are in business and when one of our laptops go down, we have a big problem. I take it into Jerry and he fixes it pretty fast and for a good price. I just bought a like new Dell laptop for $139. Where else can you find a deal like that. read more

I have to say this is a worthless company to try and get service from. 1. they are never at the place of business during business hours. So get more employees if your in the field like you say. 2. you get a call from a person letting you know they have been coming by and needing services and you weren't in. They call you and then you tell them your there now and they already went somewhere else. Then they are shown that the computer screen wasn't fixed properly or even at all. That person calls you and lets you know that the owner of the computer passed away and they needed them to fix it correctly and they tell you the date of the receipt on the phone and you say you will fix it and honor the repair. Then they bring it down like they said they would and you want more $$$$$ NOT HAPPENING.!!!!!! you tell them the warranty is passed the 60 days.. HELLO THEIR FATHER DIED THEY WERE BUSY WITH ALL THE LEGAL CRAP .... Well all I can say your word don't stand good when you don't follow through with what you say!!!!!!
