I took my mini Aussie to be groomed in June 2021 and my husband and I were there together dropping her off. We discussed what we wanted which was stomach, feathers on the legs and haunches with what the groomer called a 3/4 because she is a farm dog and stickers cling to her fur from the tummy down. Additionally we asked for sensitive shampoo and no perfume. The groomer was great and we were very happy with the outcome. We were told all the notes would be on file for future service. The grooming was less than 2 hours. I scheduled a second appointment right away for today 8/17/21. My husband dropped off at 11 and didn't see the groomer present but someone he didn't remember said that she remembered her. He said same as last time. By 2pm he hadn't heard but was done with errands (we live out in the country so long drive) so he stopped in. He didn't see our dog anywhere and they said she wasn't done. He advised he was waiting in the parking lot. About 45 minutes later they texted she was ready so he went inside and they were still grooming her. They had actually cut all of her hair! Her back, her beautiful ears, neck... everywhere had been cut short and not even just lumps of hair. Anyone that knows dogs should know that is not how you groom an Aussie! They should have flowing hair around the ears neck back. And she smelled like a perfume factory and needs a bath because she has allergies and her eyes are so bloodshot from the strong smell and stress of being there for so long. Then they had the nerve to say sorry but it will grow back in a couple weeks. Totally wrong by the way. And then said my husband said to shave her which was a total lie. I have never been so unhappy with any pet groomers in my life and I'm in my 60s. Don't trust these groomers if you care about how your dog looks! read more

I took my sweet cat there and let me say this it was a nightmare! First if you're not familiar with where the place is located take the time to drive by and find it and parking. I had a hard time finding parking. Next my poor cat was scared seeing this was her first time getting groomed which is understandable she didn't want to come out her carrier to which the groomer tilted the carrier and shook it to get her out. Once that did not work he took a vacuum used for drying placed it to the back of the carrier turning it on and scaring her right out it. Needless to say we had to chase her and catch her. After the time of the actual bath happing my poor cat was tramatized. He was more concerned on getting us in and out then the well being of the animal so if you love your animal and see it as family do not bring it to this place waist of 50 bucks never again read more

Whoever is posting the negative reviews must have been having a bad day... I've seen nothing but next level professionalism and expertise. I made an appointment for my cat and was unsure at the time whether or not a lion shave was needed. The staff on the phone were courteous and understanding and in no way did I feel pressured or that I was an inconvenience with my indecision. She answered all of my ignorant questions with grace and made my appointment. I was running late to my appointment due to traffic and when I called to let them know, Jose was kind and assured me that it was no problem. When I arrived, I found the place to be cozy and clean from what I could tell. After a quick look with Jose, I was the one that insisted a lion shave was necessary and they set to work. The whole experience was stress free and it was evident that Jose and his team have a real passion for cats and their well being, they are truly a credit to their profession! read more

So I will preface this review by saying that the first time I took my Giant Schnauzer to Spokane Paw Prints, they did an amazing job and my dog looked great. Unfortunately the haircut my dog got today isn't anywhere close to his first haircut. His snout is shaved bald and the rest of the hair is very choppy. I was told he was difficult to groom, however this is the first time there has ever been an issue (and my dog has been groomed many times before without issue). I am very disappointed and unfortunately I don't think I'll be back. At least his hair will grow back. read more

My poor goldendoodle got butchered. His entire face was shaved all the way down. He was not matted. We took him in for a very short trim and cleaning as we like to keep him shaggy for the winter and they gave him a summer cut. I'm so so upset!!!! Never going back!! read more
