Went in yesterday 8/28/2025, as I was having some pretty aggressive cam lean, and some serious tuning issues. Michael came back from his lunch at 5:40pm, 20 minutes before they closed for the day. And managed to fix the cam lean and did a full retune of my bow within 20-25 minutes. He absolutely saved me, and made it to where I'm able to hunt the opener of ID archery elk. Now my fixed blade and mechanical heads touch my field points, whereas before they wouldn't get within 2" of one another. I seriously cannot recommend S.V.A. enough! Thank you Michael! read more

A couple buddies and I traveled from out of state to come to Spokane specifically to check out the shop with the intention of buying new bows and/or shooting the course. Showed up with a reservation in the morning and were immediately helped. One of us already had a bow reserved, so he was getting set up by Beckam while Michael set up a couple flagship bows for me to try out with the assistance of Joel. There would be people that came in and out of the shop or called which slowed the process a bit but nothing unusual or off-putting. The staff and the patrons were nice which gave the shop a very welcoming, pleasant vibe. We went through the options of bow accessories, traded in our old, bare bows, did some bow tuning and shot the course without having to make too many additional adjustments. We even came back the next day to shoot the course again. Foam targets were in good condition with assorted ranges, but it can be challenging retrieving arrows if you miss as much of the area is overgrown with tall grass, low hanging tree branches. Thank you, Michael, Beckam, Joel and the Spokane Valley Archery crew for the hospitality and helping us get our bows set up. We'll definitely find an excuse to fly out again. Hire Joel! read more

Went in and was greeted right away. Michael helped me and was constantly in conversation with me as he was breaking down my old bow and setting up my new one. Out of all the shops I've been to SVA had the biggest selection of in stock new bows and accessories. Michael was asking all the questions on setting up my bow and set my d loop perfectly for my nocks. People give this place bad reviews don't understand that with the amount of customers in there they do a great job on trying to help everyone. The trade in process was fair and quick and helped me get into my new ARC 33. read more

My husband and I have the annual pass because we love to shoot archery. While the 3D range offers some up and down canting shots, a lot of the cores are shot out, so $20 worth of arrows went straight through to weeds. Found 5 other arrows -- just not ours. If the cores are blown out, either remove the target, replace or set up hay bales to at least catch the arrows. A lot of the targets are leaning over too, so think long and hard before buying an annual membership. read more

The employees are all awesome and will put in the time to not only help you get setup but answer any questions you may have. It's always a good time going to the shop to pick up new gear to continue tinking and learning each visit. read more

Did not enjoy our experience here even though they had multiple staff members there no one seem to want to help us. We tried out the range on a rental bow they gave us broken arrows and sent us out to arrange that had a septic overflowing on the ground. The only reason they get a star is because of the beautiful view and the open range is nice but the customer service is extremely poor. They even ignored us while we're asking questions to attend to a customer that came in after us. I would say only go here or if you have all your own equipment and you don't need any assistance whatsoever just stay away from the low ground where the septic seems to back up. read more

STAY AWAY... I drove 1 1/2 hour all excited because I was finally going to get the bow I always wanted. I knew little or nothing about archery and was told to go there because they had everything I would need etc. I was prepared to spend 3k, spent 2800. Everything seemed fine until I drove all the way back to start practicing. Was with a friend with a lot of experience...first of all, draw length was off at least 1.5 in. the settings on the bow will allow only 1" adjustment. So we made it...then the arrow release so off so much it trashed the arrow....absolutely ZERO information, box, manual, nothing...went online and the only video on there for the one they sold me, the man talked like everyone had his level of experience..." got to line this up...(didn't show what "this" was) I just know where it goes so because I hunted before so I put it here!! he didn't bother explaining....) Bottom line, I have to take another day off to drive and return this POS (that's not fair, I am sure the bow is fine, between my inexperience and their "got one on the line" attitude, I am sure it would be great. I explained I was new and didn't know crap and needed help) My salesman found it more important to rag on the boss for not showing up, all the ebay mailing wasn't going out etc. etc. than he was at making sure my first experience in archery was a good one. If there was neg. stars I would post however low it goes. If I can not find someone that can help, I am taking these butt wipes to court. Have a nice day.... read more

Ordered a dozen arrows from the eBay store they run out of this shop (Podium Archery), they sent the wrong arrows and refuse to make it right and blame the customer for their mistakes. Owner or manager, not sure which one told me to Fu*k off at the end of our phone conversation. Plenty of horrible reviews on them if you dig around online outside of Yelp. Wish I had know before they took me for $140....Save your money and time and go elsewhere. read more

I am new to Archery hunting. These guys were amazing. They took over two hours just to make measurements, set me up and work with me. They are a stark contrast to nearby arrogant Archery shops, especially in Montana. I was happy to spend over $2000 at the shop and highly recommend these guys for their expertise and attitude. read more

Not a great experience. I really wanted to like this place and had scheduled a 30-minute starter lesson. My "instructor" was a nice young high school aged kid with a whopping 30 days of archery experience. Paying $1.00 a minute for instruction from another beginner doesn't make sense.The owner seems too busy and too important to give time and assitance to a begginer. Won't be going back. read more

A little disappointed, I was referred to sva by a friend to get my sons bow string replaced. When I went to pick it up the gentleman behind the counter would not get off the phone. Just charged me and sent me out the door. I had to go back and ask to have the peep adjusted and he still stayed on the phone almost the entire time. Never offered to let my son shoot a couple of arrows to make sure everything was set up. Now I will have to find another place to do the final set. I was hoping for much better customer service.
