Stopped in Christmas Eve Eve since they were having some special Christmas/holiday drinks! We enjoyed a caramel White Russian and a cranberry fizz! Both were fun and festive for the holiday spirit. Food. Was. Awesome. I loved it all! We started off with the Cogs. These were pepperdew peppers stuffed with goat cheese and chorizo. I didn't get a lot of chorizo but regardless these were very good. There's a honey glaze on it which I thought might make it too sweet but it is nicely balanced. Next we got the goaties. Three breaded wheels of goat cheese (i know 2 goat cheese dishes?! but I love it!) with three different sauces and bread. All three were good. The blueberry sauce was a little sweet but it was good to get a few bites of it in. As far as amount of food this was a rather large dish. Third dish was the lamb pops. The lamb was super tender and the olive oil with it was great. The hummus was a little disappointing, it was rather bland. We ended with the Ahi Spokes. This was a really good light dish. The tuna and coating was good, the avocado was tasty and the chips were light and flaky. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back! read more

We each got drinks (summer ale and a mule), and shared the brew board, triple gyro sampler, smoky chicken flatbread, and carrot cake. Everything was delicious! We saw this place and it immediately gave the impression that it's the nicest place to eat in this town. The building and atmosphere gave an upscale bistro vibe. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food options during dinner time. The only thing we could really order was the flatbreads which took almost an hour to get and looked/tastes like dominos thin crust pizza. Thankfully the drinks tasted pretty good. read more

Partner and I stopped by this restaurant in Watertown during Labor Day weekend.  Dined al fresco, which did not disappoint.  Service was professional, knowledgeable and attentive.  We refreshed ourselves with a strawberry mint lemonade (tasty!) and a great lakes lager. We ordered: Italian Twisted Handlebar (which probably would have been enough...ate only 1/4 of the pretzel)...was packed with great ingredients; Spicy Spanish Style Shrimp...had a nice kick to it and the sauce was great for dipping pieces of the roll &/or pretzel; Ahi Spokes...the mango/avocado salsa was a nice combo with the tuna and wasabi (we should have asked for a little soy on the side); and Arugula Parmesiana salad...was a nice accompaniment to everything.  In the end, we realized that we ordered too much and were stuffed, so we didn't order any dessert.  We left very satisfied.  This place would be perfect for a 1st date. read more

Very sophisticated compared to other places nearby- the Italian handlebar was good - the pretzel by its self was amazing ! Great peso just wish there were more meats. However the cheese was hummus not cheese... the apple pie mule is deadly amazing and the Jameson mule tasted like a normal mule. . Will defiantly come back ! read more

We came back for Amber. And the ambiance. And the food. They had MUSIC, and she was GOOD. They had brie and prosciutto flatbread. And it was GOOD. They had a shrimp pesto flatbread. And it was REALLY good. They had lollipop lamb chopies, and those were delicious! Met Eva, another one of the partners. And she was ADORABLE. Wine list is meh, and I'm not a beer drinker. This is a fun hangout spot. If you are a beer lover this is the place. The Flatbreads are the best thing to eat here. They said their chef won Chopped so clearly he knows what he's doing. The Italian Twisted Handlebar was fantastic, and really easily to split between you and someone else. 5 stars for a restaurant in Watertown. The service was so so friendly and accommodating. I mentioned that my husband is gluten free and every dish that came out from that point was given a GF option as needed. The beer selection looks amazing, but as wine drinkers, we were happy with the wine recommendation! We started with a salad and the Brie appetizer which was delicious. Our favorite dish was the tuna which has a delicious crust and was very plentiful. Highlighy recommend! The GF cupcakes were also very well done! The food and beer here are pretty good. Like any tapas place, the food comes in the form of small plates that are meant to be shared. We've been here twice and we thought it was pretty decent. The wait staff is pretty friendly, but I'd say a little too friendly. I like that the waiters like to chit chat and make you feel welcome, but it can hold up other tables who might want/need something. I even had another patron from another table come up to me to "borrow" our menus. One small complaint I have is that there are a bunch of gnats/fruit flies. I know that alcohol lures them in, but it's still a little gross. We spent most of our nights shooing them away. On our most recent visit, the same table spent a lot of the night swatting at them and trying to catch and kill them. Which is funny, but they were also making a bit of a commotion in the restaurant. I suspect that the bartenders don't remove the spouts off their liquor bottles every night, which is why there were so many inside, swarming all the patrons. Also, I feel like they don't clean the booths regularly, because I noticed a pretty thick layer of dust and hair on the top booth panel. Not just chalk dust, but actual dust. Despite the food being pretty good, it was over shadowed by the lack of upkeep/cleaning. But that's just me. I know plenty of people who don't care and that aren't bothered by bugs, but I'm not a fan of those pesky fruit flies. read more

I don't know if I've given a more deserving 5 stars review. We walked in on a Saturday and there was a pub crawl stopped there. It was loud and crowded, but one of the owners quickly seated us. I wasn't expecting much from Watertown and was a little hesitant to spent $18 on a soft pretzel... ITS SO WORTH IT. Blueberry Habanero Brie too. My goodness. Coming from DC as a foodie I was worried I'd have nowhere to eat up her. I will be frequenting this place often. Stephanie our sever is amazing. First the good. A beautifully decorated restaurant, and our server was phenomenal. Now the bad. This is not tapas, as one person could not eat a single portion. More like plates to share for two or three people on each order. That is OK. But 45 minutes to get a warm pretzel, covered with cold cuts, for $18.95? On a fairly slow night? Ridiculous. And the flatbreads were a little soggy, and not great. But the real problem, came when we got the bill. They overcharged on every drink. And it took two tries to get one of the bills correct. How many people have they cheated by having the wrong prices in the computer? If the owner has not been sitting behind the bar drinking wine and chatting with her friends, maybe this would be a better place. Give it a pass. read more
