We never asked for a refill, any special accommodations to our food. We were polite, said yes ma'am, please and thank you. She never once refilled our drinks, seemed to be annoyed when she offered us dessert and we asked what they had. She did hand the table next to us free cannolis for their anniversary . (We're not upset we didn't get anything free... we just wanted a pleasant experience.) She only became polite when it came time for the bill since she probably wanted a nice tip. With multiple meals left untouched or barely eaten, you would expect a manager to stop by the table, ask about the experience, or make an effort to address the obvious problems. That never happened. The one bright spot of the evening was our server, who was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, professional, and did everything she could to make the best of a very disappointing dining experience. She deserves recognition because the poor food and lack of management were not a reflection of her excellent service. The other order was the Harbor Breakfast (2 sunny side up eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes, English muffins, and strawberry). Both of these selections were flavorful, filling, and cooked to perfection. I cannot recommend the Seaway Grille enough and am so glad that it's conveniently located within the 1,000 Islands Harbor Hotel.
