    Great bathroom experience

Quite possibly the spoodliest deli I've ever been to. Dazzled by 18 different menus, our family of 4 felt at home with each meal.

    Lemon chicken soup

Only $10 for a bowl of goo Don't have to worry about faulty Air Conditioning in this place either because there is no AC. "They just fixed the AC I'll up it to 3 stars" they also have good cans of Mountain dew

    Veggie humus rollup $5.49

If those Woo' people in the know, Spoodles is where you go to get your sandwich on. Sandwiches are super affordable and generously stuffed. My office swears by the turkey and chicken options, but the Veg in my office, also leaves satiated. My favorites include the Turkey Ranch ($6.29): turkey, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion with ranch dressing served on focaccia; the California Club ($6.29): turkey, mayonnaise, guacamole, lettuce, tomato on ciabatta with swiss cheese; and the Turkey Reuben ($6.29): Grilled turkey, Swiss cheese, sour kraut with Russian dressing on dark rye (warning: you must LOVE Russian dressing, or don't order this). The staff are super friendly. They genuinely seem to care when they ask how your day is going, and they are pros at keeping the line moving. There are separate lines for phone-in orders, and people who need to order (yay efficiency!). There is ample seating- and an upstairs where you can hide from people if needed. (Only lawyers avoiding clients they've spent all morning with, understand this perk) All sandwiches are customizable. Bread Choices include: Sub Roll, Bulkie Roll, Ciabatta, Syrian, White, Wheat, Dark Rye, Light Rye; and wrap choices: White, Wheat, Tomato and Spinach Flour Tortilla. All sandwiches come with a free pickle. The staff always remember to stock your take out bag with napkins. They cater, and orders over $25 trigger free delivery.

Love love love. So happy I happened upon this place. I got a chicken sandwich that was ah-mazing. Freshest tasting Bread I've had in Worcester other than Regatta. The place is massive! I came before 11 so it was empty. Super bright and clean. Staff was happy and even discussed what their fave sandwiches were with me to help me decide from the massive menu. Weird little complaint is the pickle spear that came with my sandwich (which I always look forward to) tasted like a cucumber, not a pickle. Which was unfortunate. Music was a touch too loud but all in all love the place. And they have free WiFi!!!

This turkey sandwich KNOCKS!! It's delicious, quick, and convenient. Only thing is I wish I ordered fries or chips to complete this lunch.

A pleasant surprise on this rainy day! We smelled something really really good wafting from this…read morerestaurant's grills while walking by, so we decided to give it a try for lunch. And we're glad we did! Nice selection of meze plates to share: we had a saganaki (flambéed toasted cheese) that was salty and savory; grilled octopus that was very tender and delicious; creamy umami Greek giant beans (fasolia); and sauteed wild greens (Horta), slightly bitter and refreshing, reminiscent of southern collard greens; and souvlaki of chicken and beef (smoky and tasty - this is what we smelled outside!) with lemon potatoes. Outstanding!

The entire restaurant was empty aside from 2 tables when we arrived. They crammed us literally 6 inches away from 1 of the 2 tables filled. I initially was taken aback but the two ladies sitting next to us kindly slid their table over a tad to give us more space (we were beside a wall to the other side near the door). Honestly - I'm glad I didn't say anything because by 5:30 the entire restaurant was filled and it was nice to have nobody on one side of us. They served bread drizzled with olive oil with some olives to start. There was nothing particularly wrong with the bread, however, being a Greek restaurant, it may have made a lot more sense to serve fresh warm pita as the starter bread course. We ordered the Feta Saganaki to start. That was absolutely the star of the entire show! Very crispy on the outside with a hot gooey feta cheese on the inside, drizzled with ample amounts of honey, and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Absolutely to die for. I started with the Greek sangria - it was fine, but nothing special. My husband got one of the three espresso martini options and he really enjoyed his drink. The restaurant got busy very quickly and it didn't seem they had enough waitstaff on. Everyone was sort of running around with their heads cut off, and service was slow and inattentive at times. For dinner, I had the moussaka. It was very salty and the béchamel sauce on top was sort of gelatinous. It didn't taste bad, but it was a very odd consistency. My husband got the kebab plate with steak and chicken. It was served over a bed of rice with a small side salad. Nobody came back to the table to ask how our meals were after serving us. We really needed salt and pepper, which was not on the table and my husband wanted to order another drink. We had to ask two different servers before we got the drink, but never got the salt or pepper. We took a piece of baklava home to enjoy after the show. It was delicious! We are not in the area and it's unlikely that we would be back to this restaurant in the future. We are foodies at heart and had this been a delicious meal - we likely would have driven all the way back to Worcester just for dinner. It unfortunately sort of missed the mark.

Neither the signs nor the decor have changed, only the menu and the staff. We should have known this was going to be a disaster. No one was around to greet us. We selected a table, and within minutes were handed menus without a greeting. We quickly decided on our entrees, only to be advised by our waiter that most of the items on the menu were not available. No stuffed peppers, no moussaka, no pastitsio. nothing. So, we opted for one tilapia with grilled green peppers, and one baked halibut dinner . Greek salads arrived after 10 minutes. They were okay--- fresh but uninspired. After another 15 minutes, we both received grilled tilapia. The presentation was terrible ... a piece of unattractive fish with 5 or 6 tiny pepper slices, lightly marinated with Greek salad dressing. It was accompanied by buttered rice. Tasteless. I can forgive many things, but poor service is unacceptable. Our waiter was bad tempered and unable to communicate effectively. I suspect this is the first time these folks have ever run a restaurant. Our bill arrived, we were charged for two vegetable kabobs, an item that wasn't even on the menu. The tilapia was listed on the menu at $10.99; the kabobs $12.99. We paid the bill provided and left a very minimal tip. We couldn't wait to get out. I doubt arguing with the waiter would have been productive. It is very simple -- don't go to Acropolis. The food is poor and the service is terrible. There are so many choices in West Boylston, there is no reason to come here.
