if zero stars was an op it would be 0. foods decent you get what you pay for but it's going down hill. went to get a Caesar salad wrap today and everything looked fine until I went for a bite and there was black bugs. BUGS!!!!! when I called they said they could remake it. why would u ever think I would want it remade after there was just bugs in my leduce wrap?!! ended up getting a full refund. some of the workers were decently nice others were rude. the last guy to come up to me was definitely being rude until I showed him the video and he went quiet real quick. never go to this restaurant it should be shut down for heath code violations!!! read more

My last stop here unfortunately. This place is not what it once was years ago. They'll rip you off, and maintain a smile on their faces the entire time. . What's even worse is that I always tip them 3 to 5 dollars. I ordered a LARGE pineapple pizza, a Greek salad, and a cob salad. The cob salad was actually good, but that's where it ends.. The LARGE pineapple, was comparable to a small. The Greek salad was largely lettuce. The owner is kind of smug too. I miss the old partner. I don't recommend this place any longer.. read more

This place offers consistently good pizza. I usually get the meat lovers. But I decided to switch it up. I got the Buffalo chicken pizza this time and it was one of the tastiest Buffalo chicken pizzas I've had. The chicken was cut in bite sized chucks and evenly sprinkled throughout the pizza. The cheese and chicken bites were melts and intertwined with each other creating a great gooey and crispy texture. The bread and crust of the pizza was also crispy and Golden brown! I bought two pizza ( lg pepperoni and lg veggie) last night. they did not gave me a receipt, i had to ask for receipt. $12.05 for pepperoni and $20.95 for few veggies on the top of the other one. they gave what is total without explaining how much each pizza is. prices of these pizza is not on the wall or website. and they calculate tax over $4 for two pizza. they stole money from me! it was the first time going there, I am not going there anymore. they steal money from you!! it is a shame! read more

After experiencing the worst day at work, I decided to drown my sorrows in a sausage pizza. As Ted's is on the way home, I decided to give it a shot. As I opened the box, I was surprised to see tin foil underneath my pie. In my 55 years of existence, I have eaten a lot of pizza from a lot of different pizza places, but I had never seen this before. Not overly concerned with the presentation of the food, I picked up a slice and noticed it was lukewarm. Ignoring the temperature, I bit into the calamity. Disappointment is what I tasted. I finished the slice but decided not to risk the rest of the pie, disposing of it in the dumpster. Later, my stomach began to protest my earlier decision, forcing me to evacuate my bowels, as my asshole metamorphosized into a volcano erupting with the half-digested remnants of the indignity I had consumed. I ate here the other day for the first time in about seven years. At that time I worked in the area and had a sub here at least once a week. This trip was no different and I was not disappointed by my Chicken Parmesan Sub. The chicken was tender and juicy and tasted fantastic. Unfortunately the service did not match the food. Yesterday my car broke down directly across the street from Ted's. I had not eaten all day but, I could not leave my car unattended because AAA was on it's way and was told I needed to be present to use my membership. I called Teds and placed an order. While doing so, I explained that I was sitting across the street in my car waiting for AAA to arrive. I planned to run over real fast because if AAA had arrived I would have been able to see them and could have simply RUN right back to my car but before I even mentioned that the woman who took my order said "Well, why don't I just run the order over to you". She asked what car I was in and sure enough, I saw her walk out the door and cross the street to hand deliver my food. Now the food was delicious but, truth be told for that kind of customer service, I would have continued to order from them even if the food had been terrible (WHICH IT WAS NOT). It was a Monday I hope to never have to relive again but, I can't thank Ted's enough for the delicious food and EXCEPTIONAL customer service. read more

Came here had a small cheese pizza, was good sauce was nice. Came a second time got a large half Hamburg half cheese, and the half with hamburger tasted very grainy I think the cheese wasn't melted enough because it was LOADED with hamburger. If it was cooked another 5 minutes or so it would've been perfect. read more

Yesterday we were en route to the Blackstone Valley Shops, and since we hadn't visited Ted's in years, since moving away from the Village, we decided to stop for lunch. Both my companion and I chose our old Ted's favorite: hot pastrami on Syrian with Provolone cheese and yellow mustard (alas, they still don't have hot brown), toasted per our request. We also had an order of onion rings. We very much enjoyed the ample order of crispy battered and fried rings, but thought the pastrami in our sandwiches had a bit more fat than we had recalled it having years ago. We enjoyed them nonetheless. I must note that we arrived before noon on a Saturday and the friendly three-man crew was struggling to keep up with numerous walk-in patrons and the nonstop telephone orders (although they weren't too busy to jovially interact with some witty customers holding court while we were there). Even though our order was small and simple, we waited quite some time before it was ready (almost half an hour). It is quite clear that Ted's is still a very popular and stable establishment in the Village (open since 1972). We'll be back to check out their meatball grinders and pizza during our future visits. read more

Delicious pizza. I wanted to try somewhere close and new. They don't skimp on the shredded cheese. I got feta and bacon and it was fresh cheese, and crispy bacon the crust was bready enough to eat. Bacon and spinach with salad is a large proportion and it's all super fresh not wilted and crispy bacon with fresh hard boiled egg. Yum! read more

Ted's Hamburg Pizza is out of this world. When I got back from Japan it was the only thing I was craving from the States. It's loaded with hamburg and the cheese is nice and melty. The pizza is not greasy and the sauce is very unique. It's not like every other greek-style pizza offered here in the city. I also like the Turkey Bacon sub but stay away from the Steak and Cheese-- they use Mozzarella which is just wrong. Nice and clean place, very friendly staff. The person who answered the phone was very pleasant and ready to help out in any way. We ordered a large cheese pizza and small order of fries. Teds is located in a plaza, it was brightly lit and from the outside looked clean and inviting. Inside was bright, welcoming and clean. This is unique since most pizza places in Worcester are run down and dingy. The man at the counter was very pleasant and happy to see a customer. Lifting the Pizza box I became alarmed, it was a big box but light as a feather not a good sign. The pizza is finally at home we lifted the cover and my suspicions were correct. This is the typical bready Greek style pizza. The crust had the crisp dried bread stick look. On the first bite your mouth is overwhelmed with the sugary super sweet sauce. There is a lot of sugar or most likely corn syrup in the tomato sauce. The Cheese had no real flavor so it was neither good nor bad just blah. The crust was crisp, light and if you liked bread Greek style pizza would enjoy their crust. The pizza has no real heft to it, being airy, and light. One large pizza would be tough to stuff two adults. The place and people were great but since this is a food rating I could not rate this very high I wished I could have. The sauce being a red sugar, the cheese blah and the light Greek bread crust over all it was not a pleasant pizza. I could not love the pizza as much as I enjoyed the place. read more

I contacted Ted's last night for a salad last night on my way home. I was looking forward to it as I enjoyed their pizza the week before. I arrived to the pick up window to see one man preparing food with his mask around his chin, not covering his mouth and nose! I know it must be hot, but come on, safety please! Then, the man assisting me took my salad out of the bag, placed it on the counter and with his BARE hands grabbed a slab of feta from the fridge. He then opened the salad, grabbed a handful of it with his still BARE hands, added the cheese and closed it up. He then attempted to give it to me and couldn't understand why I did not want it or him to make me another one. Even in a non-COVID world, that unsanitary practice is unacceptable. The floor the seats the walls the trash down to the kitchen and beverage refrigerators. They carry chocolate milk. Not just any, fairlife. 1% tastes like whole or 2%. They have an assortment of chips, and treats. There menu is filled to the brim with delicious choices. I ordered the tuna for me. It's delicious and fresh. Not old not oil not too much mayo. Great consistency with flavor and even diced celery. The bread is fresh. Soft, great texture. My daughter ordered the mini pizza, think little deep dish. 3$ can't be beat! Honestly I tried some and it was full of flavor. Real cheese. Fresh dough. I ordered a ham and cheese sub for my husband. He said it was delicious and fresh. They made everything correctly and prompt. The staff is friendly and kind. Prompt, in getting your order and greeting you with a smile. If you are in the area stop by. Ted's was pretty decent. Not the worst pizza, not the best pizza. They don't deliver so that's a draw back but they're close enough to us that we can use their drive through window. The salad was just okay.. and the guy on the phone gave us a hard time for making a few changes. Then we were told 10-15 minutes and my fiancé ended up waiting over a half hour for a pizza and a salad, so that was also disappointing and a waste of time. read more

I wanted to try someplace new for dinner, so my husband and I decided on Teds. We got the kids a large 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni, I got a small Aegean, hubby got a Cheeseburger sub, and we split a Mozzarella Sticks. The kids seemed to like their pizza OK, but the marinara that the mozzarella sticks came with, well, I wish it were chunkier. Hubby didn't care for the sub (frozen burgers?). I expected the Aegean to have white sauce like the menu said, but it was so garlicky. And all I could taste was garlic and cheese. I couldn't finish one piece. I did have a couple bites of the kids' pizza and I thought the sauce was really good. But I am not a fan of the greek-style over-done crust, either. We really enjoy coming for lunch occasionally. Really nice guys, we like that let us call orders in ahead to eat there (especially since our lunch hour was reduced). Food is good, typical pizza shop chicken fingers and subs. Balsamic wrap is good too. Try a 2-way hamburg/pastrami pizza from Ted's! YUM. I called ahead and it was ready when I arrived. Meat and cheese were layered on thick. Crust is a little above average. Sauce is a touch sweeter than it needs to be. Overall experience 4 stars. read more
