Because of the pandemic, I thought I would have a very difficult time doing an exchange at the store. I was greeted by a very friendly staff upon entry and was so refreshing to deal with Neisha. Neisha was the most pleasant person and say easy going. In most cases, returning or exchange and any other store is not always dealt in a positive manner. Not the case at Journeys. I will be going back for my next purchase, they have a great selection of merchandise but mostly because of my experience. Neisha deserves a raise.

Rain or shine, people are clearly showing up for their Crocs. I went in specifically to purchase the platform style sandals after hearing great reviews, and I was impressed by just how much variety the store carries. There was an abundance of styles, colors, and designs to suit just about anyone, whether you prefer something classic, trendy, or bold. Despite the crowds, the store was well organized, making it easy to browse without feeling completely overwhelmed. The staff were clearly working hard and moving quickly, as there were so many customers in the store at once. I did have to wait a bit for assistance, which was understandable given how busy it was. There were two cash registers open, and even then I ended up waiting about fifteen minutes to check out. That said, the cashier was very friendly and pleasant, which helped make the wait feel less frustrating. Even with all the chaos and constant foot traffic, the store remained clean and well maintained, which really stood out to me. Overall, this location offers a huge selection, hardworking staff, and a clean shopping environment, making it a great stop if you are willing to be a bit patient during peak hours.

It's sad that to get a size that fits me, I have to sacrifice a rainbow of colours for fit. It's the main reason why my Crocs are all black. I wanted a purple pair of Crocs. I have wanted purple ones for years. I came close when I was at Dick's Sporting Goods in Bloomington earlier this year. It had better colours and selection, but I still couldn't get them in my size and in purple. I did a search while in Ottawa and found this Crocs store in ByWard Market. I normally head this way to eat. Well, it was still the case, but I wanted to check this store out after having a late lunch. I parked my car in a lot by Courtyard by Marriott and walked over. I entered the store. It was fairly busy, with staff talking to a man for practically the whole time that I was in this store. You can decorate your Crocs with fun charms known at Jibbitz. There was a sale going on with selective Jibbitz sets. There were food and pompom ones, so I got both of them. I was extremely happy in this store. I saw every Crocs style, from the classic clog style, to slides. I went with classic ones. I got to choose between purple and lavender. I went with the latter and I found a pair in my size. One acronym: OMG! Thinking that I was delusional, I grabbed the pair in my size and headed up a short set of stairs to try them on. There was seating. These Crocs fit. I wasn't dreaming! My feet were so happy in them. I had been walking quite a bit that my feet felt like they were getting a short massage walking around the store. I said yes to this pair. When you are on this upper floor, you have hit the clearance section, which is closest to the window. I saw sparkly platform Crocs, platform sandals, thong sandals, and more at reduced prices. This section was awesome! I went to pay for my items. My wanting to pay for my items made the man finally stop chatting up a storm with two female staffers. The woman closest to him at the counter seemed rather unenthusiastic dealing with me. She asked me if anyone helped me. I immediately said no. The two female staffers were clearly engrossed with whatever this man had to say to them. Why bother asking such a ridiculous question when you both know the answer to it? I paid with a credit card. Done! The woman placed my items in a paper bag with handles. I thanked her and left. I remember shopping moments later at another store. I had a chat with two other folks, a man and a woman, after they saw my Crocs bag. They were interested in getting a pair, so I directed them down the street. I am the quiet hype woman. I shop. You see my bag. You want to shop there, too. I really need to get paid by Crocs... haha! Other than the weird lack of warmth with staffers, I loved shopping here. I love my Crocs. This store is smaller than other ones I've been at but it still has a decent selection of clothing. My most recent visit was near the beginning of January and they were having their large clearance sale. I couldn't really find a lot of items in my size as a lot of the main racks were pretty empty. The deals I found were still decent. If you are looking for decent work shoes (especially if you are on your feet all day), I would recommend you check them out. The brands of footwear they carry are a little pricier than other places but they are comfortable and last longer than getting bargain brand footwear that only lasts a month before they break apart.

They have items from previous seasons at lower prices and I've found some really good deals here. They also have a small selection of off-season items, so if you need a pair of shorts in the dead of winter or a coat in the middle of summer, you might find what you need here. They have a huge selection of regular sizes, petites and plus sizes. They have mostly business attire, but they also have casual wear and evening gowns. I love how I can actually buy evening gowns here off the rack and not need any alterations (albeit only from their petite line). So all you short and slim ladies (e.g. 0P and 2P) who have a hard time finding formal wear that doesn't require paying an arm and a leg for alterations, this is the place for you. Selection is not that great for these very small sizes, but I have purchased many gala dresses here (and a fraction of the regular price). This location also carries a good amount of Joseph Ribkoff, Frank Lyman and Katherine Barclay. Although they usually start at size 8. So great for normal sized people, but not for those wee like me :( I will be the first to admit that many items at Laura/Melanie Lyne are matronly and frumpy, but they also have some more fashionable pieces (although I guess "fashionable" is in the eye of the beholder). I go here often so I can swipe up those pieces at a good price. They have fitting rooms both at the front and at the back of the store. There are washrooms at the back (in with the fitting rooms). This Laura/Melanie Lyne is in a strip mall, so there is a lot of free parking.
