There is no concept of customer service here. There is definitely an opportunity here for good quality services and goods.

This was my first time dealing with a bulk order for team jerseys at this location. Initially, I…read morewas pleasantly surprised at the customer service I received. The man I met with in the store gave me all of his information and took me through how to order the jerseys my team wanted in thorough detail. He then proceeded to tell me he would order the jerseys when I sent an email with my final decision, so I assumed that was the case. It turned out that he was not the same person I dealt with when I put the order in. I had emailed the address I was given with the exact order of jerseys our team wanted, which was the National Team jerseys being sold for $25 a piece. Our team ordered 24 jerseys plus a goalie jersey. When I gave my credit card number to pay for the jerseys I noticed on the receipt that the overall total was a little less than expected, approximately $100 less. I did not think anything of it at the time because I had thought that since we ordered so many jerseys maybe they decided to cut the price down for us as a part of their sale. In any case, I was informed that the jerseys would take up to 15 business days to arrive, which is about 3 weeks altogether and was told I would receive an email when the jerseys arrived and I could then go in to pick them up. I received an email 3 business days later saying our jerseys were ready to be picked up; perfect. Everything seemed to be coming together really well and I was pleased with how smoothly everything was being taken care of. The day I went to pick up the jerseys was where everything started going south. I went in to collect the jerseys. I had to go to the back of the store towards the storage room where two employees were having a private conversation to get their assistance. When they did come out to help me, I checked the box and it turns out the wrong jerseys were ordered. I showed them the jerseys and asked how to proceed. They brought up the email I sent with the order as well as the page on their website I had placed the order on and tried to accuse me of making the mistake of the wrong jerseys being ordered by showing me my email, which according to them read League II Team jerseys instead of National Team jerseys. I pointed out that I had not made any such mistake and my email clearly read National Team jerseys. The reaction from the boy was my favourite part: "Oh, yeah, you seem to be right.." I had to pay an extra $100 thereafter because they undercharged me the first time. At this point I felt like some compensation should be in order because not only were the wrong jerseys ordered, but the wrong number of sizes got delivered. No compensation was given. Before I left they told me the jerseys would be in by next Thursday (a week exactly to the day I went to pick them up initially). Thursday came and I still had no email from the man I was dealing with. I emailed him explaining what I was told in the store and he replied saying it wasn't protocol for employees to tell the customers information they were unsure of themselves. This made sense to me but it wasn't my fault that I was misinformed. He then told me he would email me the minute the jerseys came in after telling me they had run out of large sizes and asked me if I wanted to replace them with XLs instead....yet another problem.... I waited another week until I emailed in2sports again to see where the jerseys were. Our team had waited half of our season to receive these jerseys when we thought we were getting them within the first three weeks. I sent another email expressing this frustration and how my team expected to be compensated in some way for all of these mistakes. I got an email back saying the jerseys had in fact arrived late the night before and would be ready to pick up the next day. I went into the store again to pick up the jerseys and was finally able to meet the man I had been dealing with this whole time. He apologized whole heartedly for everything that went wrong and took full responsibility for what had happened. I appreciate this gesture and I appreciate that he dealt with his employees who tried blaming me for this mess. However, our team was not compensated for the jerseys in the end and we ended up with 4 XL jerseys that we didn't order. All in all, after having met the man in person and seeing his remorse, I commend him on his personal customer service and his outstanding commitment to try and fix the situation after he made the initial mistake. This review is not a reflection on him but rather towards the overall experience I had up until meeting him. I would do business with him personally again, but only in person. He is the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 on this review. Hopefully his employees will learn from his example to make future customers experiences more pleasurable than mine.

We've been going to this bike shop for years because it's the only option in our neighborhood, but…read moreunfortunately the experience seems to get worse with each visit. The customer service is consistently disappointing. Staff rarely makes eye contact, there is little to no acknowledgment when customers enter the store, and basic courtesies such as greeting customers or providing updates on wait times are completely absent. It is extremely inefficient and disorganized. What makes the experience particularly frustrating is that there can be only a couple of customers in the store while several employees are on the floor, yet it can still take 30 minutes to an hour just to get someone's attention or speak with a staff member. During these waits, there is often no communication, no indication of who is being helped next, and no confirmation that anyone will be assisting you. As a family that loves biking and has invested a lot of time and money on our bikes, it's so frustrating to get it serviced at this location and will be looking at going elsewhere.

I will begin with the positive. When I visited the Mississauga location on Derry Rd, I was…read moreimpressed with the variety and availability of bikes on display and available for sale. One of the two gentlemen, with whom I spoke, was also very polite and friendly. However, I visited this location because of a specific bike they had advertised on sale and when they showed me the bike, I immediately noticed it was not as advertised. They had switched out the front shocks, tires, and shifters for lower end components which were not the components advertised on their website. For all I know, they may have downgraded other components as well that I didn't take the time to notice. While it is possible this was simply a mistake in advertising, I find it a little "fishy". When I asked if they could replace the original components, they made it clear that was not possible so I wonder what happened to those high end components. In any event, I walked out without the bike as it was simply not as advertised. As a result, I doubt I will return in the future. I definitely plan to warn my riding buddies and caution them against buying a bike from Pedalinx.
