Then Rob can't find the piece and starts to get angry with me as if I was the reason they lost the piece. Then tells me to take a new part, to pay and never come back. What kind of customer service is this. Just by the way Rob reacted made me feel like I was scammed and how Rob maybe never replaced the part. If you did do your job why would you reacted in this manner. Very bad customer service very disappointed.

What can I say- the dude who helped me was very helpful, sympathetic to a fault (actually everyone but me think I had a very serious accident) and made some great suggestions on how to fall off next time. He also spent about 20 minutes helping me get a pair of gloves and fit a helmet. not easy considering both hands were wrapped in miles of bandages... Lovely little shop. Rate it second after the lovely local family owned place. You know what a soft spot I have for those...

What a rubbish service!…read more Came for an annual 'free' service I had booked well over a month in advance. Received a confirmation email twice, including a reminder the day before. Came to the shop on the day (a Saturday morning), just to be told that they don't have a mechanic, they don't why they booked me in and I can leave my bike for Monday. With their ridiculously minimal opening times it would mean I would have had to part from my bike for a week, thank you very much. That free service has a cost: a total waste of time! Will never cycle back there again...

And several years ago I discovered Honda Riders of Peckham. Honda Riders are one of the few family-run year-dot shops left in the game. They've got bits for bikes that even the manufacturers have probably forgotten! It's run by Natalie and her head-honcho Paul, and between them they have amassed a detailed knowledge of most common bikes & their particular idiosyncrasies. Especially beneficial to the economy end of the market; there's no limit to the age of a bike they'll attempt to repair. And therein lies a problem, because old bikes often have seized bolts, cracked & corroded parts etc, all of which may not only raise the bill unexpectedly, but also lead to delays and a backlog in their work schedule. But new or old, they always try to please, whereas most other shops will simply turn a machine away after a certain age. They are only two, and work ebbs & flows. Sometimes the phone never stops ringing, and customers are in and out all the time. It can get very, very hectic, and then patience is needed. At other times, when it's quiet, they may look at your bike - and fix it - while you wait. It's a hands-on firm; both Natalie & Paul wield spanners and the telephone often gets lost amongst the jobs! They also stock parts and accessories, including crash-helmets & clothes and a wide range of serviceable secondhand components which they will offer to fit at a big discount to new. This can both save time if the part would otherwise need to be ordered, as well as keeping the bill to a minimum. They're also a licenced MOT station. There's only a handful of other firms like theirs in south London, and I know from experience that Honda Riders are the cheapest and most friendly. Frankly; I can't imagine dispatching life without them. I just hope I can retire before they do.

They've frequently sorted me out at very short notice, very accomodating - staying open late just so I can pick my bike up after work. They do lose a star for their cash only policy - it's 2014 guys! AVOID AT ALL COSTS…read more This is probably the first negative review I've ever written and I cannot stress how awful my experience of Revolution Bikes has been. They didn't communicate, carried out repairs without my authorisation, fitted non-Ducati parts, used a sealant on the tank that is not rated for petrol immersion, and I think that they invented the faults in the first place. After spending hundreds of pounds and being shouted at by Tom - my bike still has the same fault. I could allow an issue with workmanship but Tom is a person to avoid at all costs - he is unstable, flies off the handle and gets abusive on the phone, refuses to cooperate and is so full of how good Revolution are that he simply refuses to listen to a customer. Based on my experience, Revolution's policy is to not communicate with customers, do whatever they want with your bike, and shout abuse at you if you then question any of this. To top it off, they refuse to reply to emails and only ever responded to a registered letter that threatens legal action. In all my years of owning and operating vehicles, I have NEVER come across such a terrible outfit. If I could, I would leave 10 more reviews to try and help people avoid this operation.
