Someone....anyone....please talk to this referee and tell him you do not need to scream "Goooooooooooooooooood" during every normal play of a hockey game. The players are trying to communicate on the rink. The fans are trying to enjoy the game. I'm glad you're having fun out there but dude.....just make the calls you need to make and shut up once in awhile. You can't enjoy the game when you're voice is overpowering the play. Aside from that, your calls are fair and I have no problem with your calls. You keep it fair.

This is the town run building and then I could feel the breeze from inside her a little office. It's going to be 97° and they will be bringing campers inside to get them out of the heat outside and it will be just hot inside . They absolutely have an ability to cool the building down otherwise they would have a melted ice rink Lol Bethpage Rinx has air conditioning all summer . When I looked it up, this is what it says :While not explicitly requiring air conditioning, the need to maintain acceptable indoor air quality and manage humidity levels in indoor skating rinks, particularly those using resurfacing machines, often necessitates the use of robust ventilation systems that may include air conditioning or other cooling components. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency notes this may include equipping facilities with two ventilation units, one for the rink and one for public areas. Important Note: Specific local codes and ordinances within individual towns and counties may impose additional requirements regarding air conditioning or indoor climate control in public buildings, so checking with the relevant local authorities is always advisable.

Every person that transfer from another gym comes with the same story, they were either mistreated or coached improperly. All the Apex coaches and staff genuinely care for the kids. They are dedicated and committed to producing exemplary athletes and good sportspeople. As far as the conditions during the meet, I was there this weekend and found nothing wrong. In fact, it was no different than a dozen other gyms we've been to for competitions. I did appreciate that no matter where my family and I chose to sit, we're able to see each event. We're were also able to get up and move around so it made video taping without being in front of other spectators easy. There were two large screens displaying clear, real time scores. Given that there were hundreds of people and gymnastics at Apex over the competition weekend, I found it to be well structured, each session was completed in a timely manner, and the athletes (who matter most) were happy!

It's in front of a development that was Edge on the Hudson before there was Edge on the Hudson (so much for the hype there). Views of the Tappan Zee bridge and Hudson River are unavoidable which is a very good thing. Decent amount of walking paths and benches, in addition to the dedicated picnic area. Plenty of parking although it is paid via the Tarrytown parking app. Playgrounds are a bit dated but in great shape. Everything has soft, spongy ground around it. Good variety for different ages too. Haven't done the splash pad yet because it's winter but it is pretty sizable. Good amount of kids around here without it being overwhelming. Maybe not the most built up park in the area, but my toddler loves it and so do I.

Admission is Free but there is a cost for parking Our Experience: we enjoyed spending the afternoon outside on this gorgeous spring day walking along the river walk and playing on the playground. The walk was absolutely stunning and the boys enjoyed walking along the path, exploring the lookout area, seeing the boats in the water and the airplanes/helicopters in the sky. Hands down my favorite part of the day. The playground was adorable with two separate sections designed for kids of all ages. While the equipment was a bit outdated, I loved that it had that soft type ground underneath it to (sort of) pad a fall. Both boys really enjoyed their time there. There is a covered picnic area so feel free to bring food and drinks! There is also a restaurant right there in the park as well as walkable restaurants in the downtown area conveneintly located close by. It was a gorgeous spring day and there were ZERO crowds with only a handful of people walking the path and only one other family on the playground. I was shocked at how quiet it was but thrilled to have the place basically to ourselves. Will go back?: Absolutely YES! CJ keeps asking to go back to "look for sharks in the water" ( lol) and to "play on the red playground" Pro Tip: it is WINDY by the water so whatever the temperature is outside, subtract a few degrees or add a jacket when planning how to dress for the day. #tristatemama #tristatearea #momlife #motherhood #kid #instagood #momsofinstagram #parenting #momblogger #momreviews #familyfun #makingmemories #nature #hudsonriver #1000hoursoutside #westchestercountyny #playgrounds #tarrytownny #nyplayground #strollerfriendly

Smithtown Recreation organizes a canoe trip once a year. Starts by the small park by the "Bull"…read moreand ends in Kings Park. It's about 6 miles and 21/2 hours of canoeing. I give it 3 stars because: I am brand new to canoeing. They give you 30 seconds of instruction. The head guy doesn't seem to want to be bothered to elaborate on the instructions. He says, "Oh, it's all common sense." (It's not common sense if you've never done it before.) I capsized my canoe, I went all underwater. These cheerleader type 20yr. something girls came by to help and laughed it off. It's not a laughing matter if the canoe falls over you and you go over your head underwater. The organization should have professional canoe people rowing near the group to check on you. The organization just sends you off on your own. Also, the life jacket they gave me , the belt was broken. The jacket was useless. Coming back, unloading, I told one of the canoe guys that I capsized, he laughed it off. The 12 year old rich, bored blond boy from the canoe company laughed it off and looked at me like I was a bug. They said, "that will be a story to tell." (again, not a laughing matter!) If you go, just take sunblock and car keys in your canoe. Do not stretch to the other person, or move a whole lot. The boat is very sensitive to balance. I also saw and smelled a canoe that had 2 young 20yr. something guys smoking something funny, and I can clearly see him drinking a beer. There are no formal rest stops. To park your canoe on a narrow stretch of muddy sand and trees is too much of a pain. Nobody helps you. But, once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. Don't forget to sunblock your legs, face, and arms!
