a variety of food in containers

I give this place a 4. We got some Korean food from here and those were good. For a small town like La crosse that does not have Korean food, this will be sufficient to my cravings whenever I need some Korean bbq. The wings were good but not anything too fancy-pancy. A lot of sauce to choose from to dress your wings so that's always good. The only complaint I had was the rice that we received with the Korean bbq. The rice was very very hard. There were some parts to the rice that was basically crusted to the point where you couldn't chew it. I figured it was towards the end of the day and they gave me whatever they had left at the bottom of the rice cooker. Anyways, I had to make my own rice when I got home. This is my only major complaint. But overall, not a bad place.

Quick stop for some wings and beer. Great decision to stop here. Wings were great with an awesome selection of sauces. Going to come back again. Can't wait to try the Korean BBQ

Awful. Waited over 1 hour and 45 minutes for wings, still weren't ready. Very rude staff. No masks.

Hands down, my favorite place in La Crosse. Get the wings. Get the egg rolls. It's total Wisconsin in the best way.

The best wings I've ever had!! It's a very small bar with no wait staff. But the great food and friendly bartenders make it worth it.

I went to undergrad in a large town (the football stadium alone held twice the population of La…read moreCrosse) and most of the local collage bars were disgusting, over-crowded, and expensive. The popular bar was pretty much a cinder block foundation with a hole in the center of the room to wash all the filth out when the night was over. The place had maybe four tables, a dart board, and a broken arcade game. It was horrible, but people would stand shoulder to shoulder for $8 pitchers of PBR because it was the cheapest thing in the area. Even the franchised bars weren't much better. If Brothers had been in the area, it would have put them all out of business. The place is clean, the employees are hard-working, there are numerous TVs, a room for billiards, and the prices are very fair for a decent product. They have some really good daily specials; Tonight we had $7 buckets of beer and 2:1 Captain Morgan drinks (only $3 for the two). Their shots actually come in glass containers, which would have been too fancy for the dives around my school. I can't forget to mention that they have 25cent wings on Wednesdays. Don't get me wrong; Brothers is still a college bar, but its a fairly nice one. You don't come to these places expecting to wet your whistle in the lap of luxury. If your looking for a place to get a few inexpensive drinks and to hang out with a college crowd, then Brothers would make a great choice. Occasionally, we come to mingle with the spoiled Millennials for Trivia Night. We may not know what singer that is in the photograph, but we can tell you what a group of butterflies is called: Kaleidoscope.

Pretty bad experience, asked for a rum and diet. Bartender said the Diet Coke is out and I asked…read morehow long (would have ordered a different drink if it was going to take awhile) and got scolded. Then took all my tip money from the bar.

I've been to this bar & grill numerous times in the company of male companions and always enjoyed…read morethe experience. I like the "neighborhood atmosphere" of this place, and the food is usually quite good. Today 7-24-26, I went in as a sole customer at approximately 2:00 PM -- a non-busy time -- and sat at a 2 person table a few feet from the bar. I was ignored for approx. 17 minutes. I was starting to wonder if they perhaps only did bar service at that time, but no signs were posted, and no one said a word to me. Furthermore, a few other customers, came in at this point & also sat at tables. Just before I was ready to walk out (20 minutes of being ignored is the limit) , the barkeep called over to ask if a server had seen me. I responded "No" and she said she'd let her know I was there. Nothing. After about 5-6 more minutes, the barkeep herself came & took my order which included food & a drink. The food, (their Friday fish), as stated before, was great. Absolutely no server checked on me during the 50 minutes between my food being served, and the time I left, to see if I needed anything. The barkeep called over to me once, about 5 minutes after my food arrived, to ask if I needed anything. At one point, in addition to the barkeep, I counted 3 other employees going in & out of the back room, and two of them were actively serving -- other patrons. Patrons at other tables--couples, and gentlemen -- were checked on numerous times during this period. After I had finished eating, I sat with my remaining food to one side, and an empty drink, for approx 25 minutes. Finally a server stopped literally 5-6 feet from my table -- didn't even actually come to my table-- & called over "Do you need anything?" I suspect my "infuriated vibes" were starting to permeate the premises at that point. I responded that I needed a box & my tab. Had I been approached even 20 minutes earlier, I probably would have ordered another drink. Honestly, this was disappointing in a place I really have had warm thoughts on. Will it stop me from going in again? Probably not... the food is good, and that's primarily what I'm there for. But my strategy will likely be different next time. 'Not as a quiet, polite & reserved female customer. I suppose I'll need to "belly up to the bar" along with the rest of the dudes.

This night always consists of visiting Del's. My husband and I decided to take this same trip, but in the summer. This way I can experience the same places the guys go. When we get to LC, we went to Del's even before our hotel. It's a nice dive-bar-esque place. It's a bit dim, but that's what bars are supposed to be, right? I like the circular layout of the place. My husband bought a shirt. We didn't stay incredibly long, but long enough for a couple drinks. Bartender was great. I didn't peruse their website beforehand but had stopped @ an ATM en route which worked out, they're a cash only establishment. They do have an ATM if you din't bring cash. Their yelp page reads: accepts apple pay, accepts credit cards..... I didn't ask their significance but I liked the random signature bricks on the floor. I like the variety of decor around.... I really like the etched glass/mirror hanging high above. Thanks Del's for an interesting inaugural stop, cheers.
