With 80+ legit check-ins, I suppose it's time to update. That, and I'm waiting for the new kids to bring moar pitchers!! Actually, not a whole lot has changed at the park. The facility still has the same softball and indoor soccer fields. Not too pleased, though, that a pitcher of beer takes even more tokens. I had a pretty good game today. A couple of base hits and a bases loaded in-the-park HR. Go ME! I also got scolded by the ump for throwing a bat. My bad. Go Sportsplex!

This is a great place for playing in a softball league. They have 3 really nice fields, great umps, batting cages, and beer. It's a really nice place to play or even watch a game. I played on a league with my work every Wednesday night and it was so much fun. You do have to pay a $3.00 entry fee but they give you a token which is good inside for a drink or food. They have a great area in the middle of all the fields that you can order food, snacks, and beer and wine. The hot food they have is, pizza, chicken tenders, fries, mozzarella sticks and pretzels. They have a few beers on tap too and flat screen tvs inside for watching other sports games that are on. It's a great complex and I've always have a good there. There is also an indoor soccer field there,

Nice complex. Kept clean and the Joel's are well taken care of. Get there early on tournament days to find a parking spot.

Where to start! We had our league finals the other night and were doing just fine until the league…read moredirector started talking smack to our team during the game! Well, a few of the guys started talking back to him in the middle of the game and he ejected us out of the building. Sounds to me as if the game was rigged against us. If you are the League Director who speaks highly of Sportsmanship, then why talk smack to the players on the court during the game? Don't get me started on the refs because they are just as bad..... I would definitely not recommend this league to anyone interested in joining a rec basketball league.

Would not recommend playing in this league…read more The Refs are pretty bad, most of them just seem to be at the gym collecting their money and just want to get the games over with. They anticipate calls and then just flat out don't call some obvious fouls. The league director is a real piece of work, if you have any issues with any thing and try to go to him with them he will pretty much dismiss your concerns and tell you to go f**k yourself and join a different league, which it seems most people have done. When we started playing in this league 4 or 5 seasons ago their were 10 -12 teams in every division, now their are like 5 or 6. The parity in these divisions is horrible. The league director drops the ball big time. Most of these league divisions the competition is non existent, you have 1 or 2 really good teams per division and the rest of the teams just suck. A lot of the games end up being blow outs and aren't really even that fun. I would stay away and join a different league if possible.

Hey Coach Jojo and Get Better Hoops Academy coaches,…read more Just wanted to say thanks for three awesome years with my two boys and nephew. It's really amazing to see how much they've grown, from just playing for fun to becoming club athletes ready for high school. That's all thanks to your coaching, and I'm super grateful. You've really helped them build up their physical strength - my boys are so much stronger and more explosive now, and they don't get pushed around easily. And just as important, you've helped them develop a healthy drive to win. You don't just teach them plays, you teach them that competitive fire, how to be accountable, and the mental toughness to push through mistakes. That's why they're doing so well in basketball. As we get ready for high school ball, I really appreciate the more focused training on mental resilience in those high-pressure situations - like free throws at the end of a game, defending a lead, or bouncing back from a bad call. With your coaching, their physical and mental strength is definitely going to take them to the next level. Thanks again for everything you do, and I'm excited to keep this journey going with your program.

I am extremely disappointed with our experience with this organization…read more My son suffered a serious ankle injury during practice and was later diagnosed with a Grade 2 ankle sprain that will keep him out for approximately 8 weeks. At the time of the injury, he could barely walk. What was most upsetting was that the coach did not step in to help him. Thankfully, one of his teammates helped him get up and assisted him walking up more than two flights of stairs while he was clearly in pain. As a parent, seeing that level of lack of concern from the coaching staff was very disturbing. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of follow-up afterward. Not once did the coach send a text, call, or email to check on my son's condition or recovery. There was no acknowledgment of the injury situation and no concern shown for his well-being. We sent multiple emails regarding my son's injury and requested consideration for a refund since he would be unable to participate for 8 weeks. After repeated follow-ups, we finally received a response, but there was still no apology for the delayed communication and no explanation as to why our emails had gone unanswered for so long. The response felt dismissive and entitled, especially considering the circumstances involving an injured player. Instead of addressing our concerns, I was accused of attacking and being disrespectful toward the coach. That was never my intention. I was simply expressing our frustration and disappointment over the situation and the lack of communication. There was still no apology or acknowledgment of any mistake on their part. This organization promotes the idea of being a "family," but unfortunately that was not our experience at all. During the time our son needed support the most, we felt ignored and unimportant. The overall experience made it feel like collecting fees mattered more than caring about players and families. The fees are expensive, and with those costs comes an expectation of professionalism, communication, and compassion. We have been part of other organizations that charged much less and still treated players and parents with far more respect, support, and genuine care. I hope this organization seriously reevaluates how injuries, communication, and player welfare are handled moving forward because no family should have this kind of experience.

The difference in their athleticism and movement on the field was apparent after just a few sessions. Bo has taught them skills and foundational strategies that no other coaches had ever touched upon. They have become confident and powerful under his guidance and taken their game to another level. We are so grateful. Time is so limited for busy families, and there are so many options offered for lacrosse in the area, but I have to say this is the single best thing we invested in for our athletes. I would describe it as intensive lacrosse skill training with very directed fitness and drills that target your individual needs. Some of it almost seems like PT because he's so good at seeing how the girls move naturally and adjusting the drills and workouts to strengthen weaknesses and get them moving more athletically. Nothing else has come close and we will absolutely stick with it. He's also a lot of fun and the kids enjoy working with him. I really just wish we had found Bo sooner!
