I went here because they are promoted as the best. I had an urgent request to patch a split seam on my favorite corduroys for a cold weather vacation. I was told the repair would be noticeable. I agreed and paid. When I arrived to pick them up, the seamstress, who is the owner's wife, told me she never did the repair because she did not have the material. No one contacted me. When I asked why I was not called so I could take them elsewhere, she said they do not call customers. That response is unacceptable. This was time sensitive. A single phone call would have allowed me to solve the problem. Instead, my clothing was held with no work done and no notice. When I stated that as a paying customer I expected communication and follow through, she became defensive and accused me of being rude. A refund was offered, but there was no accountability or professionalism. If you expect your clothes to be finished, or expect basic communication, do not go here. This experience showed a complete lack of care and responsibility. I HAD to choose one star to even post! read more

Horrendous altering. They have no serger. Alterations on T-shirt or sweatshirt material should not be attempted. All 5 tops taken in were stretched out of shape, sewn with the wrong thread tension, and seams that weren't straight. Husband was yelled at by the male owner and told his complaints were "discrimination." I have used Spot since the 90s. Never again. read more

Ok for cleaning I guess but a bit pricey. Service is very lacking from my 7 years going there but today i decided enough was enough and found someone else who wanted my business. The issue is the customer service and the alterations. We brought a basic set of window curtains that were hacked and unevenly hemmed. They will haggle on any return or service issue and if you need anything the least bit challenging you'll get my "guy is not in", wont be for a week and the 'move along' look. Owner seems partial to certain people - so if you are new and don't come often, don't expect anything beyond your receipt. read more

Great dry cleaner, nice people. Alterations OK for cuff.Bot stop there. They just ruined a $500.00 sport coat. This was a center vent sport coat which should have been tailored from the sides. She did the lazy thing and did the center. The results are that the bottom of the coat is still too big and the center looks like hell. Tailor? More like a butcher. read more

I have been going to this cleaners for years and they are truly amazing! Everything they clean comes back like new---always have the feeling that you just came upon a new wardrobe. They take care of each garment like it's a valuable/precious item and they work diligently on getting out any stains they find (or at least they try their best and rarely fail). This review is strictly for the alteration services they provided. I got a dress altered here as they quoted me a great price. I came back to try the dress on and the owner said he needed to redo the hem and that when I returned, it would be dry cleaned and ready to go. I returned to try the dress on and it still fit well, but I did not like how obvious and wide the hem was on the bottom. I told him that and he seemed very aggravated. I returned to the dressing room and he slammed the door. I was shocked at this point and felt so disrespected. However, I still stood my ground. I asked him to redo it and he said that I should have said it the first time....even though I had no idea why/ how he was going to redo the hem in the first place. I returned for the final fitting and the dress was not in a garment bag and was DIRTY. He did fix the hem, however the stitching is extremely sloppy. I'd post pictures if this allowed me too. He rang me up and had the nerve to try and charge me more. I said the dress is dirty and he said nevermind I'll charge you the same, never offering to clean it. I left and said I would never come back. Needless to say, don't ever get your garments altered here. If you want poor quality craftsmanship and ignorant customer service, this place is for you! read more

I went here because the prices were cheap.. Bad mistake.. They wrote my last name in permanent black marker on the inside of my $100+ white button down shirt, and it bled through! Also, when I picked up the shirt, it had a BUGGER on the sleeve and the arms were stretched out. I encourage everybody to find another dry cleaners unless you don't mind property damage. read more

I was referred to Spot Cleaners in Cherry Hill by a good friend of mine who works in the men's suiting industry. When I started going to Spot, my suits, ties and shirts came back to me looking better than they ever have before. This all ended about two months later when I started receiving my shirts back with broken buttons. I was previously going to the "any garment $1.99" cleaners and have never had a broken button before! Although they would fix this issue for free, I get one of my custom made shirts back with what looked like a burn mark the size of a matchstick head. Again, they tried to remedy the problem and this time, the stain would not come out. There goes $150. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but this morning I went to get dressed and found that ANOTHER button had been broken. Its not rocket science, its dry cleaning! I really hope that Kun, the owner of Spot, gets his act together and starts producing quality work, as his premium prices certainly demand it. Sorry Spot, but you just lost all of my business and my consistent stream of referrals!!! read more

I had both my daughters dresses altered here and they did an AMAZING job. The one dress was a few sizes too big and needed quite a large alteration. After the dress was altered, you could NOT even tell that it had been any different and I was not charged an extravagant amount of money for such a professional job. read more

I sent my Ugg boots here to be cleaned after having done business here for 8 years. My boots were destroyed and now they are pointing fingers at a contractor that they hired. In the meantime, I have waited 5 weeks for my boots. Those boots were worth $250 and I paid $30 to have them serviced. Now, I'm out of $280 and no one wants to take responsibility. It looks like someone put my sheepskin boots in the washer and dryer and tried to give them back to me. They were in great shape when I dropped them off. Now, they are almost unrecognizable, I am disgusted and disappointed. Until now, I have been very pleased with the service here. I had gotten my wedding dress preserved, suits tailored and dry cleaned, and so much more. Now, I'm being kicked under the rug. Oh, and they even accidently, (may on purpose) gave me someone else's boots. I will no longer give this business my patronage and YOU shouldn't either. read more
