Lorrie is not only professional and sweet, but she is INCREDIBLY talented! I have brought her a number of items that needed alterations/work and she always does an awesome job! I have had her hem a dress, fix a gaping hole in a sweater, add on a new zipper, add material to a dress so it wasn't as tight, and even put on a new completely sealed pillow cover. She is very quick to communicate and reply when you reach out to her. She is also cognizant of your preferred timeline. The prices are reasonable. In the past if I needed an alteration, I would "deal with it" or the item would stay in my closet... I was very excited to bring Lorrie those items I had been neglecting. I especially like that she really tries to work with you on determining the best manner to go about the alteration. For example, I had a dress that was too small at the top and we spent a bit of time discussing what material she might use to loosen it. Early on Lorrie suggested using some of the material from the end of the straps you tie in the back of the dress. That's what she ended up doing and you can't even tell the dress was altered despite the complicated pattern! I will continue to go to Lorrie for any future alterations. Lorrie is amazing!! I have gone to Lorrie several times over the last year for alterations and cannot speak about her work highly enough! Last week I called Lorrie in desperate need of alterations on a gown that I needed back in less than nine days. She was sweet enough to fit me in that day. Before I went, I was extremely nervous because not only did the length need to be altered, but the front was hanging weird and the "sleeves" needed to be shortened. Within minutes of being there, she had me completely at ease. The alterations were done in less than a week and I picked the gown up yesterday. I can't express how happy I am. I got my wedding gown altered from Lorrie. I brought it to her about a month before the wedding to get hemmed and taken in. She got it done in under a week (for an extremely reasonable price, which was nice after being quoted upwards of $700 from other alteration places). Lorrie was so flexible to work with. She is so quick and affordable. I needed a bridesmaids dress altered (hem and straps primarily). I was a total slacker and went the week that I needed the dress (I had a lot going on the month prior). Lorrie got it done quick! I went to pick it up, and one of the cups was a little off, and she was able to alter and fix it right in front of me.
