This is part two of my three part story…read more Now I am back in my home state of CT. Since I have a 14 day grace period, on the 10th day or so I decided I wanted to return the phone back. There was nothing wrong with the phone, I decided that I didn't want the 2 year service agreement. So I figure T-mobile store is a T-mobile store anywhere. So I went to that store to return back the phone. The phone and its full packaging was exactly the same way I bought it. I arrived there 45 minutes before closing time. Enough time to return the phone and head my way back home. So I realize I didn't have the receipt because the sales rep. in FL didn't give me one. I ended up calling the store, but for security reason by the manager Chris they couldn't fax me my receipt. For the same security reason they can't fax my receipt to another T-mobile store!!! Can you believe the stupidity by this guy (how did he become a manager)? So at this store in North Haven, CT it is obvious that the people there could care less about me returning this phone back. I have provided them with the contact information of the store in FL, but the guy there was looking at like I was stupid trying to return a phone purchased at a t-mobile store in FL to a place a t-mobile store in CT. Wow, I thought they were the same company! Ok, I didn't have the receipt, but again that wasn't my fault. All they had to do is contact the store in FL to try to help me. So there excuse was comeback tomorrow. Well, I did comeback tomorrow and the store manager still wasn't there. I got to the store late morning. So I ask the guy for another t-mobile location near the area and he reluctantly gave it to me. On their behalf, the manager finally did call me several hours later (about 3 hours later). So this lead me to the third t-mobile store.

Excellent customer service experience!…read more Worked with agent Ann David over the phone. She is knowledgeable, thorough and extremely patient (I ask a lot of questions!) I began the day prepared to cancel RCN service....i am happy to remain an RCN customer. Ann made what cou have been a frustrating experience into an easy one. As has been said before by many others, this company has bad customer service. Far worse than the…read moreservice is their dishonesty. Astound is a good name for these people. The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

The other reviewers are spot on.....if you want to Xperience hell on earth, visit the Xfinity…read moreStore! After our internet bill jumped 17% with no warning, we wanted to see if there was any way to reduce our monthly expenditure. We called their "customer service" and after waiting 25 minutes to speak to someone, spoke to a guy for an hour who offered some good deals to save $20 or $30 but then when we started drilling down trying to confirm we'd have the same service and wouldn't lose speed or our landline, things got a little fuzzy. So we decided to go in person to the Xfinity store where we wasted an hour talking to someone who was very nice but who was clearly constrained by Xfinity policy. When we mentioned some of the deals the guy on the phone said, he told us that guy was probably lying. Although that didn't inspire confidence, we asked what he could do. He came up with a few different options and we found one that would save us $15 per month...nothing life changing but every little bit helps. Of course, when we asked for it in writing and he tried to send the info to our Xfinity app on our phone, it kept showing a higher price. He called a manager and they could both see in their system that it showed the discounted price but when it was sent to us, it was the higher price. There was absolutely nothing they could do to actually give us the price they quoted us and that they could see in their system. Xfinity knows the have a monopoly in parts of Danbury so there's no need to treat customers as anything other than ATMs. So we'll suck it up and pay the extra $$$ per month as every other person has to. If anyone invented a cable/internet provider that didn't stink as much as Xfinity/Verizon/Spectrum, etc they would have a million subscribers in a heartbeat.

Went to the store and they gave me the same model 8, the exact one I currently have. I thought it looked the same but figured the magic was on the internal components. Wrong, customer service told me they gave me the 8 because the 10 is not available in my area. I was told this after wasting my time and having my internet paused for the duration of the replacement Instead of being transparent I was thanked for being a loyal customer.
