Rip off. The only way to make it right is to come and see for yourself what $894.00 got us and see first hand how excessive that was. I rue the day i called these people. I got one guy for 2+ hours. He didn't have to move one piece of furniture and it was all mostly tile....easiest $900.00 ever made and what a rip off. The carpets in our law office in Redlands (in the Party Plus building) have been cleaned annually using home-level equipment. This year I got so very tired at looking at coffee-trails, gum globs (gum! How???), and mystery substances that may have leaked from the copier. Because "Spot Out" seemed the perfect name of a company to provide what I needed, I arranged to have the main cubical area and front lobby cleaned with particular reference to spots. Due to our work schedule, it had to be on a weekend. That was no problem at any point, and Eddie came out last Saturday and when he was done there was not a trace of spot, grime, dirt, toner, gum (!), coffee, or anything else! I would highly recommend Spot Out for your carpet cleaning needs. Very professional and friendly service provided by Gilbert. Gilbert was very informative and I loved the little details like putting guards around exterior sprinkler heads and interior corners to avoid damage. The final professional touch was, I asked Gilbert why he didn't wear ear buds to listen to music and Gilbert informed me that it was against company policy. That the companies policy was that there be no distractions while performing the service. I wouldn't have had an issue with a technician wearing ear buds, but I have to admit, it made me feel that I was dealing with an exceptional company. read more

We have lived in our apartment for going on five years and we knew it was time to get our carpet cleaned. Josh was very professional when he came out to estimate and he was able to price things quickly. I did find other businesses who estimated a lower price - yet, you get what you pay for. The carpets came out great and they look refreshed in our living room! It was much needed! I left while the cleaning was being done and when I returned I asked my husband if the cleaner mentioned anything about a particular spot because it didn't come out as much as I anticipated. My husband said nothing was said about any spots having an issue coming out, all he mentioned was how to use the extra spot cleaner they give you. I also read the paper work and saw no notation from the cleaner considering there is a notation spot for the cleaner's comments. I called because they claim if you have any concern about a spot, they will gladly come out and try again. Long story short, they came out and tried to go over the spot again. Which is more than I expected and I greatly appreciated it. The spot actually DID improve so we are beyond thrilled and we so appreciate them taking time out to make an extra trip. However, the only part of this experience that I wish would have improved was the fact that I talked to Josh the very day after our cleaning about my concern and he said he would get back to me after fourth of July and that he would talk to the cleaner to see what specific treatment he used on our carpets. That was totally fine and I was more than patient when it came to waiting. I waited that whole week and I decided to call them because I should have heard back by Josh. Connie was the one who answered and she asked me to explain the situation due to her being gone for the prior week. The reason I am docking them a star is because of my experience with Connie. Every time I tried to explain something, she would talk over me and try to correct me in a very condescending manner. When I mentioned Josh saying he needed to talk with the cleaner about the type of solution he used, she then proceeded to school me on the fact that Spot Out is "patented" and only uses ONE formula of cleaning...etc. She went on for almost five minutes about information and the process of their cleaning which is great if I was trying to book services. But it came off as if she thought I was QUESTIONING Spot Out and I WAS NOT doing that at all. I was simply relaying information Josh told me. I can only assume Josh didn't want to go into detail so he just simplified his statement to me. Apparently my wording to her was very wrong. I also mentioned how I read that I only had 14 days to report any issues I found and she schooled me again saying it was 30 days. Which is totally fine to correct me and/or customers on information about your business. But PLEASE do so in a polite manner that doesn't sound fake and rude. She then told me she would talk with Josh and the cleaner and get back to me. She called me back within an hour and this time she really pushed me with her words. She told me that she talked to the cleaner and he said that he "told my husband that stain was not coming out." And after she then decided to explain what a spot is and what a stain is and the differences. Some may feel a company taking their time to explain information is GOOD and I would agree. However, unless you were on the other end of the phone you would understand that Connie was not explaining this as a kind/honest gesture. She was very condescending and snarky. I told her that I did not want to claim her cleaner was lying, however, my FIRST question to my husband when I got home was about that spot and whether the cleaner said anything. Again, I was told he literally said nothing nor did he document it on our form. I told her that I was not there and I didn't want to just take my husband's side. Of course my husband has no motive to lie where an employee would considering that is his job and maybe that is their protocol and he did not follow it? Food for thought. Connie then stated "I do not want to go back and fourth with you on who said what and who is telling the truth. Our cleaner said he mentioned it and most likely the spot you're mentioning is a stain therefore it most likely will not come out with a second cleaning but if you want us to come back out we will." I then told her it was not my intention to go back and fourth with her because I WASN'T EVEN GIVING HER A HARD TIME. I was literally probably the most calm and easiest customer. We scheduled for the following week. I left work two hours early and got a call from Connie asking me, in a snarky manner, when I "planned" on being home because the cleaners have been ringing my doorbell and nobody was answering. I laughed because I was sitting in my living room for an hour and a half and nobody rang my doorbell. Long story short, Connie needs a attitude adjustment and not all customers have bad motives. read more
