No worries, we called and she said she would turn right back around and re-clean it! An hour later, we called and she said she would come right after multiple job site visits. We tell her to come back and give us a partial refund. After a lot of back and forth and lying, she finally admits she didn't do the job she was paid for and says she'll give us our "damn refund". Another hour later we call and ask her where she is. She tells us she's home... oh wait... at another job site. We ask her exactly what time she'll be over, she says 9-9:30. Keep in mind she said she turned right around at 7... 30 minutes later (8:30) she says her employer said she doesn't have to give us any money since she did her job. As we call her, she says that she didn't do everything but her employer said she doesn't have to give us any cash back. We ask her who her employer is. She says TaskRabbit... we didn't hire her through TaskRabbit. When we said we were recording all conversations and we were reporting her to the police and the Better Business Bureau, she said she was going to "come back over there" if we keep threatening her.

They had to cancel the appointment with that team due to one person being away and I can't recall why the other lady couldn't make it. So, they sent a young lady named Diana who didn't speak any English at all, only Spanish. We used Google Translate, but it really doesn't help communicate complex instructions or certain expressions very well. Any professional translators reading this review should breathe a sigh of relief, because I really don't think AI translators will ever replace a live human translator! But I digress. Diana came quite a few times, and I was happy with her work. She was cheerful, and patient, and did a thorough job. Sadly, one day she pulled a no-show, and didn't call me or Freshify. Alex with Freshify was very apologetic. I didn't blame the service at all; these things happen. I took the opportunity to discuss the language barrier, and requested that whoever they send next be fluent in English. The cleaner they sent, Cleo, wasn't as good as Diana, and spoke next to no English. Her housekeeping was acceptable, though. I spoke to Alex again, and they gave me a credit to account for that. The last time they sent two cleaners, who spoke almost no English. Streaks were left on glass table tops and shower glass. The bathrooms weren't cleaned very well, and one toilet wasn't cleaned at all. There was a ring of mold that appeared a few days later, and it takes a couple of weeks for that to happen. Things in general weren't cleaned very well, and I suspect it might be because they couldn't ask me questions. Freshify Cleans charges above average, so I expect above average cleaning - each and every time. I try not to be picky, and if I could clean my own house, I would. Unfortunately, I physically cannot, so I have to rely on others. I have decided to hire someone myself without relying on a service. It is much cheaper, and I am very happy with the person's work.
