I hate that I always forget to get pictures when I'm enjoying myself but this theater is awesome and such a hidden gem. It's never really packed like amc or regal which is nice and their prices are pretty good especially for our family of 7. I think when we take all the kids, we normally don't spend more than maybe $60 which is a steal with tickets plus food and drinks. But we went on a date night on new years to see Aquaman and we were able to get 2 tickets, two bubly sparkling water and popcorn for around $30. Their facility is kept really clean including the bathrooms ! I thoroughly enjoy my time there whenever I want to catch a movie. Id definitely recommend other try it out if they haven't already. Their chairs are also fairly comfortable for the duration of the your movie. I do wish they reclined like that ones in amc and regal but nonetheless, they are nice chairs. read more

Can't beat going to the movies for a matinee! $40 for a family of five to see a new release movie that's awesome in today's economy!! The seats are nice the screen is huge and the staff was very friendly. Restrooms are a bit on the outdated side but clean and stocked. Just not much hot water to wash your hands so double up on the soap. Our movie started about 20 minutes late with no previews or the stuff that typically is shown before the movie. The lights never went off fully, not sure if this is for safety but I personally like a dark theater. The screen was nice and bright so no issues seeing the movie. The one downside I would say is for a movie theater boosting 7.1 the volume was very very low. We had the whole theater to ourselves but if others would have been talking you would have heard them over the movie. The low volume was most noticeable during explosions and action sequences. We really enjoyed the experience next time I will ask for them to crank it up before sitting down to enjoy the show. read more

Went to see Aquaman on a Wednesday afternoon. Two adult tickets and two candy snacks totaled $19 even. Awesome deal IMO. Theatre smelled like new leather! Seats were wide, leather and comfortable. The movie played well, no issues with the view or the sound. The theatre rooms are small (no stairs), so I can imagine it can get full quickly. There were no sticky floors, and the bathrooms were clean. I will return to this movie theatre again! read more

This is a really good cinema, although it is somewhat a tiny oasis in the 400 acres of parking lots and barely- surviving businesses known as the Columbia Mall area. I pray for a revitalization of this area....but back to the cinema. Under new ownership, which put some serious money into making it updated. Very clean; great new seating that is wide and reclines; seating rows are more separated so you have room to stretch your legs and not have people stumble over you. Their treats are good, but no beer/wine like some cinemas. This place is much better than AMC on Forest Drive. Please support this place! I want to see it stay! read more

Brand new business alert! I came here last Wednesday, the day after Christmas, to see Aquaman with my mom and my six-year-old. We were thrilled to visit a new theater (one very clean and simplistic), especially one who advertises $6 all shows on Wednesdays and, unlike the Spotlight Cinemas on St. Andrews, shows new films! I purchased three tickets to Aquaman at 1:40, totaling to $24. I was confused, and I asked if they had a high tax. The cashier, a kind and welcoming young man, looked puzzled. I explained the online advertisement for $6 all shows on Wednesdays. Another employee, a young woman, stepped in and I showed her on their website. "Aren't you guys Capital 8?" "Yes." She went to speak with what I can only assume was the manager and came back without talking to me .... The issue wasn't resolved. I could have insisted for my money back or for a free ticket, but I moved along hoping to forget the $6 and not to tarnish the experience. At the same time, my mom purchased a large popcorn, a large fountain drink (orange crush) and a water. I asked if they had a container in which I could pour some popcorn for my son. She said they only had a small cup and that it would be 25¢. As neither the small cup nor paying another unnecessary quarter would resolve any of our issues thus far, we moved along to the theater. The movie had started a few moments before we walked in (which means it started promptly at 1:40), and the aisles and seats were all clean and new. The seats are a step above the old, carpeted seats as they are faux leather and soft with wide arm rests. They are a step below the electric reclining seats at some theaters. They are decent seats for an $8 movie. The movie itself, however, hung two feet off the screen on either side of the screen, overlapping onto the curtains and making it hard to see the whole picture. This was annoying, but was only really a problem when there were words describing the setting along the bottom left of what should have been the screen. Also, about ten minutes in, my mom looked at me and asked me what I thought of the popcorn. I knew immediately about what she was talking. Every third or fourth piece was partially popped, leading for me to spit kernels into a napkin and her to quit eating the popcorn for fear of breaking a tooth She also said the soda was flat, which was crazy because we don't often drink soda (so it always feels so carbonated to me) and the theater was so new. All of these things aside, we enjoyed Aquaman (what's not to love about Jason Momoa) and the comfort of our clean and new surroundings. Upon finishing the movie, however, we stayed to see if there was a clip after the film (as is customary for superhero movies). There was, but I couldn't really tell you what it was because the employees turned on the lights as it came on and entered the theater to clean. Huge bummer. All in all, I think that some of these things are because of the theater being new. The soda can be replaced with fresh, the popcorn can be popped better, and again, the place is remarkably clean (my son said he would nap on the bathroom floor ), but there are some inconsistencies with quality and customer service (i.e. overcharging me $6 from what's advertised and insisting I pay 25¢ for a cup, turning on the lights while people are still in the theater and the film is still rolling). I hope that the training for new employees is done more thoroughly and there's better quality control, and I hope we just stumbled upon these things due to the recent opening. $8 is still a little bit of a discount price in comparison to other theaters showing new films, but if the experience were to be the same again, I'd rather pay the extra few bucks than have a less-than-satisfying experience. read more

This has been my favorite theater to go to for about 4 years, but, sadly, it now appears they've closed down. Nothing posted up front denoting this, but they never opened for the shows listed today and when I called for showtimes, was told no times were listed for any films at this theater. Not sure why the Dentsville area cannot support any theater for more than a few years. Sandhill is okay, but I hate dealing with the traffic getting there. Well, I'm sorry to see it go, but REALLY enjoyed it while it was here. read more

The theater was very clean, but that doesn't help if you never get to see the movie! We were really looking forward to seeing Endgame today. We'd even gotten a babysitter for the afternoon show. Instead, the experience was so, so bad. Avengers was scheduled to start at 1. The ticket counter did not open until 1. We get our tickets and food, then head in. Black screen. No movie, no previews, nothing. We wait. 1:30. Still nothing. People have been out to ask. No ETA, nothing. 1:45, I go to ask again. Finally the manager comes out to say there is a problem, and the movie won't be shown. No one goes to tell the rest of the folks in the theater. Refunds are finally given, but no refund for concessions. Nothing to try to make up for the lost time or unhappy customers. That's an entire theater full of people who won't be back. read more

This theatre has very quickly become my favorite theatre in town! I came here with my son and elderly mother in law and we had the time of our lives watching Spider-Man. At one point during the movie my son, who is 5, got up without either my mother in law or I noticing and forgot what theatre we were in. He was scared and went to find someone who was in charge (like we've taught him) and the sweet girl helped calm him down and get him back to us in Spider-Man. The whole staff was beyond amazing, especially Julie! My son hasn't stopped talking about how great of a time he had here, and I'm just so thankful to finally have a locally owned theatre so close to home! Everything in this theatre has been redone entirely and it's a family safe environment! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to take their family out for the day! read more

I had the best movie going experience of my life at this theatre. The customer service was great, the atmosphere was inviting, the seats were extremely comfortable, and the staff was very friendly! And they even took the time to put butter in the middle of my popcorn before they filled the rest of the bucket up! I'm going to the movies again this weekend and although this theater isn't the closest to me, it's the only one I'm going to frequent. read more

And the theater we watched Black Widow in was amazing- smelled brand new, surround sound was state of the art and nice recliner seats!
