I was very disappointed with this company. I had 4 branches I needed cut down. This company was…read morereferred to me by someone. When I called the first time, they were very nice. They returned by call and came out to see the branches. Then it went down hill from there. After they came to look at it, they didn't call me back. I called them a few times and finally they called me back and said that they left me several message which they did not because I had no missed calls and no messages. They quoted me a price and told me it would be a hard job. No problem I said I understand I said but I needed it down. They said they would call me back when they would be able to come and I never ever heard back from them. How unprofessional!!! If it was too hard for them all they had to say to me is we can't do it and that would have been fine. But to just ignore me was awful. I called Sprigs and Twigs they quoted me 200.00 less and was out at my house the next day taking the branches down! That's how you run a business.

We hired Zack to pull the bamboo grove in our yard. We also spoke of other major work on our yard…read more He came and dug up the bamboo. He was packing up to go, leaving a large 2-foot-deep hole where he had dug. I had figured that the job included filling in the hole too. He said he had not planned on that and was willing to bring in topsoil and fill it for an extra price. We agreed and he filled the hole and planted grass. We now have a one foot deep hole, with grass, roots and large rocks sticking up (ruined 2 lawn mower blades on it). 2 weeks later some missed bamboo sprung up so we called him, leaving a message - not for him to come back, just to advise us on the best way to manage it. We also mentioned the future work we had discussed. We called 8 times and he never returned our calls. On one occasion we did get him and he promised to call us back the next day. We haven't heard from him since. Do not trust Spicer's. They did shoddy work and then ghosted us. I have to hire another company to dig up the rocks and roots, add the right amount of topsoil, and replant it. I will never call them again.
