Today, a guy showed up to weed whack our neighbor's property and he was incredibly rude. God forbid there were a medical emergency or a fire! (Ironic that he was creating a major fire hazard considering Laurel Landscaping is from the Westerly Fire Department) My boyfriend went outside to confront the guy and tell him that he couldn't park there and that he was blocking the road, his response was "they can just go around". No, not how that works, you are blocking 2 driveways and preventing people from leaving and coming home. Extremely disappointed with the way this guy treated my boyfriend. Do NOT trust Sean Carpenter. This past June, while I was out of town, I left a good-faith check of…read more$600 for him to deliver 3 cords of firewood (he had previously delivered cord wood to me so I thought I could trust him). While I was gone, he picked up the check, cashed it immediately, but NEVER delivered the wood. I spent the summer chasing him down first for the wood -- which he never delivered -- and then for the $600 he stole from me. I've since filed a complaint with the BBB (see website, his accreditation has been revoked) and I've retained an attorney. He has ignored all warnings. I am now taking him to Small Claims court. Do not trust him with any work or delivery.
