Happened to find this business on Yelp and figured I'd check it out. Super easy to find as its right at the corner of Spring and Jonquil. Luckily when I arrived there was only one person in front and of course the wait was less than 5 minutes before an older gentleman motioned me to move my car forward. As soon as I pulled up, he greeted me and gave me a quick rundown of what he was going to do He asked for the mileage on my car, asked me to open my gas tank, and then we chatted while the emissions was done. He was super sweet and personable. Before I knew it the emissions check was done and he let me know the cost and I was on my way no less than 5 minutes later. While you may only need your emissions checked once a year, I'd you're in the area, this is the place go! read more

On the corner of Spring and Jonquil, sitting right across the street from REV coffee is a tiny little building that holds the key to your next years registration. How it works? You simply pull up, they plug you up, they run their program and you are off. It's literally that easy! I would say go grab you some coffee across the way while waiting, but generally there is no wait here. The techs who are working are efficient and friendly from start to finish! It's the best and easiest $20 I have spent on a state certified emissions test in years. Hopefully this place is here for the long haul - bc I will be coming back year after year for sure! read more

The site says no wait, what a joke. Went here 3 times and it seems like it's never open...After I WAITED nearby in the area for 30min, and they finally did open, dude working there was so rude. He looked up as he was working on another car in front of me, rolled his eyes, went inside then says to me with a large exhale "what's going on?" Price was not listed on the website, it is $25 which is max allowed by the state of Georgia. They have a 4$ off coupon on their website and it says plainly that it must be printed. I did not print it but showed it on my phone. No discount! I would think that a business trying to build a customer base would extend the discount to someone who has the coupon on their phone, but I guess they'd rather lose a customer than discount $4, they lost me anyhow. Thanks to my traditional emissions service provider going through a transition and being unable to do my emissions test I found this jewel. Spring Emissions is pretty bare bones, but what type of frills do you need for an emissions test? I was in and out in about 15 min and I was given a coupon for a free coffee at the coffee shop Rev across the street! SCORE! This place is getting 5 stars because the service was on point, and they did what I paid for promptly! The guy helping me also told me that there is a tag kiosk in Kroger on S. Emissions are emissions right? So I had the misfortune of having my car's battery die while I was on a trip. I didn't pass because my ECU lacked emissions data. The tech walked me through what to do next calmly and shared his experience that the State's recommended "two weeks" between tests is just to get enough miles done. I had to get the emission at the last minute and I called in a few minutes after six. Jeff answered the phone and timely told me not to worry just to get there as soon as I could to get the test done by Adrian will be there. I rushed there because I had a second car that needed the test so I can renew my tag without any fines. They promptly Did what they had to do and I was free to pay my taxes online. The yearly emissions came due. I turned to yelp to find a spot locally to me. With so many options available these days, the decision usually falls on price. Unfortunately I only reviewed yelp, where the business owner here states that they charge $20. Thus, it was a surprise to get charged $25 after completing the service. There are a ton of places like this that do do them for $15-$20. It could be posted on the sign out front but coming from the backside, I didn't notice and honestly, I wouldn't think I'd need to double check the pricing if the owner posted it here. Otherwise the service was quick like other dedicated stations. Just be aware if you're like me and used yelp to pick the place based on price. If I got the wrong info from a review, I'd understand but it's not great if the misinformation is coming from a business owner. read more
