When I told them I could print the label from my account they told me I would have to pay $2.65 for the printing. When I pointed out that they were asking me to pay to correct a problem in their system, they said "well, if you want the label, you have to pay $2.65." I left. I hate service businesses that don't train their employees to think about customer service. BTW, I went to the UPS store on Apple Ave in Muskegon, where the same problem occurred (apparently, the UPS system can't handle this process for international shipments) but the people there were familiar with it and asked me to print the label from my phone. When I asked if they were going to charge me, they said "Of course not". See, training, customer service, happy customer.

the people in the post office are fine and almost always 5 stars…read more BUT, my mail carrier is a darn fool. leaving a package in a box that doesn't fit in the mailbox propped between the mailbox and a wooden post. if it were brought to my door like they have done for others on my stree, at least I have a ring doorbell. Out there in the open a theft is so easy to accomplish. I was told that the carrier doesn't have to bring packages to the doorstep. get rid of the post office and make it a private service. This is not the first complaint I've had.

If there is a line it might take 5 to 10 minutes to get through if there's three people on the counter. It's also a small section where you can pick up boxes/packages to mail, but there's no tape so you would need to buy a roll of tape to wrap it. Also, I didn't see any pens out in the open, but perhaps they were hidden? There's hundreds of PO Boxes here. I've never had a bad experience, but again what more can you expect from a post office.

A large truck which I'm sure should not be permitted to dock at the back of the building is so long that it blocks the alley. That is a hazard I know the nose of the truck touches a garage door. However on 10/10 I was awaiting packages for my sons 1st Homecoming dance, he was so excited as was I especially when I seen that all the packages had been delivered however that was not the case. I was missing a pair of unique glasses that set this outfit off. Once arriving home I saw no package of the sort, once checking my USPS website I saw it had been delivered, which it wasn't. Long story short the post office delivered my mail to the wrong house. I went to the post office to attempt to retrieve my items and was told no driver was available to go back and retrieve the item and redeliver. Like how does a company make that type of mistake and not be held accountable for it. My son went to his first dance missing a key piece. Like what a sad why to go to your dance without all your gear. Worse experience ever and tomorrow when it's time to arrive home after work I'm going to wait patiently to enter my driveway while they couldn't have a carrier redeliver my package when they should of called the person who neglected to double check his or her location before leaving an item and confirming its location. Grand Rapids police and postal staff do nothing to address the situation. PO Boxes only accessible during business hours, not very convenient or customer friendly. No automated shipping kiosk. In addition, supervisors shift blame to consumers when their staff continue to deposit mail in a private mailbox when all mail is supposed to be going to a PO Box that I pay several hundred dollars a year for.

They will give you advice on how to mail your package the best way for you, and if you have to go back to change your packaging they put you back in your same place in line. There are pens and they might let you use their tape ... crazy that this isn't the case at all post offices I always bring my own in case I mess up. Shout out to Barbara, she is my favorite.
