Tiny little place but the lines move and the people are friendly. I enjoy going here.

There are some days I go in and the lines are long and they don't seem to have enough staff to keep…read morethe line moving and I just want to scream. However, sitting at home where I'm relaxed if I'm honest and think about what was really going on I think they do a good job. When the lines are backed up and moving really slow what's usually the cause is lots of customers in a row with unusual services they need such as having 30 or more padded envelopes with different weights and each one has to be weighed so the correct postage can be placed on them and other unusual services being requested that are time consuming. During those times when the lines are long and moving very slowly if you listen to what the customers are saying you'll almost never hear somebody say they just want a book of stamps and that's all. Yes, it's frustrating, but the people working the front counter here really are doing the best they can which is pretty good. Could some of them smile a little more? Yeah, but if I were dealing with people who were mad and not taking into consideration that it's their oddball requests that keep slowing down the process of getting everybody served maybe I'd do my job with a straight face every day too. At least they're not grumpy so that's a good thing. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because the last 2 times I had packages being delivered I found a notice in my mailbox saying they couldn't be delivered because I wasn't home. Wrong. Both days I knew the packages were scheduled for delivery that day so I made sure I was home all day and nobody ever rang my apartment trying to deliver any packages. Both of those days I was home and I was sitting in my chair that is only 5' 9" from the very loud buzzer (yep I measured it so I'd know when I lodged a complaint at the post office) that sounds when somebody is ringing door buzzer for my apartment and never once did it sound on either day. Heck I live alone so on days I'm expecting a package to be delivered I leave the bathroom door open if I need to use it so I'll hear if somebody buzzes my apartment so I know for a fact my apartment was never buzzed and I just missed it. After this happening 2 times in about a 2 week period I went to the post office and complained and they got a man to talk to me and he took the information from me and explained he wasn't my mail carriers supervisor but since that man was gone for the day that he'd pass on the complaint along with my contact information so the supervisor could call me the next day. Well, it's been about 10 days or longer now and no contact from the supervisor who was supposed to call me the next day. Heck, I gave them my cell number so even if I happened to miss the call the supervisor could have left a voice mail for me, but I haven't received a voice mail either from the supervisor saying he called. If this is going to become normal that the carriers won't deliver packages I may have to start paying a couple dollars extra for shipping via UPS or Fed Ex since both of them deliver to your door. I've tried to be fair in my assessment of this post office, but making me drive all the way to the post office twice in 2 weeks to pick up packages when I was home all day both days doesn't really inspire me to want to give them more than a 3 star rating.

the people in the post office are fine and almost always 5 stars…read more BUT, my mail carrier is a darn fool. leaving a package in a box that doesn't fit in the mailbox propped between the mailbox and a wooden post. if it were brought to my door like they have done for others on my stree, at least I have a ring doorbell. Out there in the open a theft is so easy to accomplish. I was told that the carrier doesn't have to bring packages to the doorstep. get rid of the post office and make it a private service. This is not the first complaint I've had.

I have never been so disappointed in a company before. The post office in back of me not only…read moreblocks my entrance to my home everyday it also blocks my exit. A large truck which I'm sure should not be permitted to dock at the back of the building is so long that it blocks the alley. That is a hazard I know the nose of the truck touches a garage door. However on 10/10 I was awaiting packages for my sons 1st Homecoming dance, he was so excited as was I especially when I seen that all the packages had been delivered however that was not the case. I was missing a pair of unique glasses that set this outfit off. Once arriving home I saw no package of the sort, once checking my USPS website I saw it had been delivered, which it wasn't. Long story short the post office delivered my mail to the wrong house. I went to the post office to attempt to retrieve my items and was told no driver was available to go back and retrieve the item and redeliver. Like how does a company make that type of mistake and not be held accountable for it. My son went to his first dance missing a key piece. Like what a sad why to go to your dance without all your gear. Worse experience ever and tomorrow when it's time to arrive home after work I'm going to wait patiently to enter my driveway while they couldn't have a carrier redeliver my package when they should of called the person who neglected to double check his or her location before leaving an item and confirming its location. Accountability I see is not for this post! I'm not happy, this incident changed the energy in my home and the vibe for the night!
