How nice is it to receive these pictures to brighten my day?? All of the walkers are always concerned about the health and happiness of my 'boys'. They even bring in my mail and take out the garbage the evening before garbage day, if I request the service. We had a plan in place with our vet, but plans change on a dime for older dogs and the day before we had intended for our vet to take care of things in our home, our pet's condition abruptly changed and our vet suggested we reach out to Paw Prints Forever as she had worked with them before. So we did. We could not have been more grateful with how they handled things. They were able to get a vet out to us that night to care for our beloved Shelby. Amanda was so empathetic and professional from my first tearful phone call to the post care following the procedure to picking up her ashes in Malvern. The vet (who I think may have been the owner I don't recall his name) showed up at the time we agreed upon and handled everything with professionalism, dignity, and grace for Shelby. They had the right tone. The right balance of helpful suggestions and space. The right approach to ending her life. The right approach for the after care to remove her from our home for the final time. It's a sad thing to make this final loving responsible decision for our pets and they were just perfect.

Prior to working with Daniel, my dog, Eugene, would bark, spin, mouth, run, and turn into a high-energy dog whenever someone entered my space, then stay high-energy after they left. It made me nervous having guests over. I put off dog training because I thought I could Google and read my way to a solution, we had a decent foundation in obedience on our own, and, frankly, Eugene and I had been stuck in our ways for some five years together. I wasn't sold on dog training. How wrong I was! Daniel's expertise went above and beyond anything I could've figured out myself. He helped me apply the obedience work we'd already done to create stronger boundaries and a better relationship. He noticed a few quirks in Eugene that meant generic dog advice just wasn't enough. Because Daniel has read so extensively in addition to his real-life experience, he could call out advice I'd picked up that wasn't serving us or help put it in context. Daniel is also dedicated to making the training process efficient -- he's not trying to sell you sessions you don't need -- and he makes himself available between sessions, which was a godsend as we were working through new behaviors. He would spend hours at a time standing in our living room barking at us and had us at wits end. He would pick and choose when he wanted to listen and when he wanted to do his own thing, and he was so terrified/defensive of other dogs, we worried whenever we took him out where other dogs would be. Now, Chewbacca is a top-notch gentleman. Starr not only taught us and Chewy lots of new commands, more importantly she taught us how to handle him and how to take the lead. Chewy has not only completely transformed in listening to us, but he is also now substantially more comfortable around dogs he doesn't know - something we never believed would happen. I had no idea just how much better they could be. Starr has brought us a much more relaxed home and for that I am eternally grateful. A couple ways our life has changed: Everytime I had my windows or doors open my boys would bark at the slightest noise whether it be a car, person, or their shadow. I am now able to sleep with my windows open for the first time in 6 years. My neighbors can be outside and I can have my doors open and my boys no longer bark incessantly. I can now sit on my porch with my boys and enjoy my neighborhood and evenings without my boys going crazy and trying to run all over. My boy Cache used to act like a mongrel walking on a leash. We were unable to take him anywhere. He's literally torn pads on his feet trying to get into the vets office from pulling so hard. Since the training, I am able to walk Cache into the vet, get a weight on him by myself, and Cache will actually lay down and wait to be seen. We used to have to wait in the car and carry him in. We recently brought the boys out for icecream and multiple people have commented on just how well behaved they are. A couple months ago we would have never heard that! In January my boys had a difference of opinion about the ownership of a bone and my boy Damian had bit my Cache. Cache understandably had some trust issues. I felt as though I was walking on eggshells thinking they were going to have continual issues. Starr's training has brought my boys back together and have strengthened their bond with not only me and my husband but also with each other. He reached out to his many contacts here in the US and around the world. He turned down a lot of dogs before he chose the one he thought was the best dog for me. Ruby was trained under the watchful eye of Andres and a brilliant young trainer named Chiara Tonelli. She had the difficult task of learning all she could about my disabilities so she could train Ruby to be my service dog. This was no easy task as I have mobility issues due to advanced Parkinson's disease and a variety of neurological problems including a stroke and hearing loss from long Covid. I also suffer from PTSD. Chiara and the team at Pro Canine trained with Ruby and kept me up to date with videos and text messages. I needed training as well and I always came home with videos for reference. They worked hard with Ruby and I. In all of my hours there never once did I see anyone lose their patience, especially with me. I was much more difficult to train than Ruby. I'm a retired engineer so I ask a million questions, compounded by my neurological deficits I was a challenge. Through Chiara's careful consistent tutelage and fantastic dog training skills, Ruby and I learned to communicate, respect and above all trust each other. We succeeded in a way that was beyond my expectations. Because of Andres' and Chiara's amazing work with Ruby and I, I'm getting my life back. Ruby prevents me from falling, helps me up and down stairs, she helps me to navigate the outside world, and now I even go out with friends again. She spends countless hours calmly at my side during my many hospital stays, medical tests and lengthy treatments. She helps me navigate though NYC, including trains, subways, busses and cabs to get to the doctors and hospitals there. She handles all of this as easily as walk to our local park. My ER visits have gone from 1-2 a month to none since Ruby finished her training and has been living with me full time. Ruby's attention to me never wavers, even when people ignore her service vest and pet her or offer her food. Her training is incomparable, having earned her the respect of the K9 officers in the hospital and my local K9 officers (who continually threaten to steal her for the police force). There is a gentlemen living in my neighborhood who is a well respected dog trainer himself. He tried to break Ruby's concentration as a test while speaking with me and she even ignored him. It was no surprise that guessed correctly that she was trained at Pro Canine because of her excellent behavior. Andres and Chiara along with the entire team at ProCanine have my utmost respect and full endorsement. I will forever be grateful, without them I'm not sure I'd be here to write this.

I made it abundantly clear when scheduling that I would need to be given Oxytocin in the event of complications which I was told 'of course, no problem!'. I took her on February 9th, received her radiographs and was then made to wait about 25 minutes where they could 'see about the prescription'. Once I was given it, I went through Chewy to order it (on February 9th) and staff neglected to approve the request for two entire days full well knowing Bay was due on Friday, February 13th and I stressed it's importance. I made phone calls, sent texts and was told a doctor would get back to me. I then was told it was my responsibility to upload the script to Chewy (which I couldn't find anyway) - which I then contacted Chewy and was told that was incorrect and they had been waiting for my vet approval this entire time, Chewy even called them and received no response. Regardless if I had the script or not, it was not my responsibility and the office did not prioritize my pregnant dog nor her puppies. I eventually was contacted on February 11th around 4pm by the practice manager who told me her staff did not feel comfortable prescribing the medication anymore after I spent $400 on the vet visit and now wasted two days. Fast forward February 12th - Bay goes into labor and as I expected, needs assistance from the drug; but I do not have it because Doylestown Vet had my hands tied and denied my dog the care she needed for a successful labor. I make an emergency trip to the ER (an additional $900 expense) she delivers 3 deceased puppies and 3 living puppies. We head home and now her labor is stalled again and the ER asked me to use the Oxytocin my vet should have responsibility prescribed me as standard repro practice. But here I am, unprepared because Doylestown chose ignorance over the reality of whelping puppies. I understand vet school and ethics, but if you care for some field experience, there's a big reality check here at my house because of your lack of concern for myself, my dog and her puppies. Shame on you for putting me in this position, stalling to tell me you had a change of mind about my dog's care, and then running down the clock so I had limited options on how to proceed finding her the care she needed. Edited to add, we are now a week out from Bay's delivery and I have had zero follow up from this practice. Ethics? I don't think so.

They also provided us with there contact phone number and also an emergency number after hours which I used. My call was returned in less than 10 minutes and everyone I spoke too was so nice, kind and accommodating. The inside of the facility in Carlstadt was nice, neat and clean and very presentable. Eddie was so caring, gentle, respectful, and just amazing in every way. He made us feel warm and welcome when we came for our appointment. He explained the process and answered all our questions. He then brought us in to see our dog "Valentine" who was so beautifully laid out. Eddie gave us all the time we needed in private to grieve. He was so very kind and made us feel very comfortable. Eddie called us a couple hours later to inform us the ashes were ready. They were presented so beautifully and the engraved label was perfect. Eddie exceeded every expectation I had for the entire process. I feel so grateful to him for showing us such kindness in our final goodbye to our fur baby.
