Our dog is happy-go-lucky fella who has never met a human or a dog he didn't like. Which is why I was extremely surprised he refused to return to this boarding place. We had boarded him there and were about to drop him off again, but he started resisting and pulling away really hard. We've boarded him at several places and he always pulls IN really hard to get in. Authentic kennel where the workers clearly love and enjoy their job and dogs. Hard to find an authentic genuine animal loving spot since all the "boutique dog pet spas." If in the area no need to look anywhere else. The workers you can tell love what they do and my dog has always loved coming here. Keep up the great work. Love this place! I have 3 pups and they have boarded and done daycare. I let them out of the car and they race to the front door, can't misinterpret that! It is always clean, the staff are lovely and genuinely seem happy to see the kids. And when they come home from boarding they are clean and nice and tired. Can't recommend high enough. First off let me say that I understand people have different experiences and unfortunately mine was an unpleasant one. I adopted my dog from the rescue that is stationed at Elizabeth Ann kennels. They had him for a year and a half before I brought him home so I would assume that they would know how to properly care for him. Sadly that was not the case. Long story short I boarded my dog for the weekend and paid for the romp and play. When I picked up my dog we were told that he didn't receive the group romp and play with other dogs because he was "jumpy". I'm not sure what that means but we told the staff when dropping him off that he was friendly with other dogs. The worst thing was that the pads on his feet were completely shredded and melted off from being left out in the heat on concrete instead of being let out to play in the grass. I had to take my dog to the vet because he was very lethargic and didn't even want to play, which is VERY unlike him. I called the kennel to try and get some answers, as recommended by my vet, to no avail. They still have yet to answer my messages to this day. I would NOT leave your dog here because they clearly have a lazy attitude when it comes to the care of each individual dog. I can only imagine what was done to my dog for the year and a half they had him before I adopted him. read more

Very poorly run business. Not only was our dog injured while there, but they did not even have the courtesy to call and let us know, despite a contact name and number on the intake paperwork. Furthermore, the dog was there for one week. They owed us a credit for the remaining two weeks we were charged for. It took months to get the credit, despite many phone calls and emails. When in frustration I asked for the owner, of course, I was told they were unavailable. So many better places to board a dog. Would not waste my time on this place again. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. It is dirty and disorganized. The last two times I brought my dogs there and yes it's my fault I brought them there a second time after the first time they got kennel cough. My dogs got kennel cough both times they were boarded their cost me four times as much to get them treated and medicated than a day to board them at this place when I called to let them know that my dogs have gotten kennel cough they did nothing about it which I understand is completely not OK and God knows how many other dogs got sick or were exposed at this place. I I have heard from former employees that they don't care about the cleanliness and the venue is disgusting I can only imagine what it looks like behind the door based on what my dogs experienced coming back from there I am so disappointed that a company that is supposed to care for your pets thinks it's OK to have a disgusting conditions and infection and disease running rampant with no solutions I will not be bringing my dogs back there and I suggest no one else brings in there either read more

Great staff that love animals and car for my dog. I frequently utilize them for boarding and daycare (romp and play). Reasonably priced, air conditioned/heated indoor areas and grass outdoor areas for the dogs to play. Clean and well maintained environment. Never had an issue. read more

Great place. We have never left our dog in a kennel before so I was a bit nervous. Pick up our two pups yesterday and they were well taken care of while we were gone and the girls who work at Elizabeth Ann were amazing. They really helped put me at ease about leaving our pups with them. read more

I have an 11 month old Rottweiler. He is AKC and we take very good care of him at home. My husband found this kennel because the place we use the last time I had a waiting list. I did not go with him initially to drop the dog off however I did come to pick the dog up. I have to say in my own opinion I was not happy. We paid for our dog to be walked once a day, and to have his own private romp and play. They took three photos of him placed them on their Facebook page. All three photos my dog was laying down and I saw a couple of feet that look like they were underneath the table. I would've like to see my dog actually in action. In my opinion, I don't think they walked him at all but only charge me for it. He's a very large dog and requires great discipline. Since he's been back it's like I have to buck him back into his walking routine. We normally walk him twice a day. Since we've been back the walks have been hard in that it's difficult to reel him back in. It was not like this before. In addition to this we left wet food as well is dry food for our dog. A high quality food. We pick them up a day early and we gave them a can of dog food for each day. Normally we only give him half a can a day, but because he wasn't going to be home we substituted the extra half a can for the few healthy snacks he would've receive throughout the day if he were at home with us. They gave us back his food bag. And kept the extra can of dog food. I'm not sure if this was intentional but it didn't add to my experience with them. Also they decided to give my dog a bath which I did not ask for. He was wet when we picked him up. I mentioned this to my husband and that's when he told me they gave him a bath. Its as if they did it right before we got him! And charge me an additional $32. In my cynicism, I'm thinking to myself that they probably didn't keep my dog very well and because we are picking him up a day early and they had no notice they had to clean them up before we got there. My dog was also supposed to get a kong of Peanut butter every day which was not on the bill. This leads me to think they didn't do that either. If it's up to me, my dog he will not be back there. I'm going to have to schedule his normal facility way in advance to ensure that we are no longer placed on a waiting list. And to have peace of mind that what was actually paid for was in fact completed. The only reason they got two stars was because my dog was happy when we pick him up and did not appear to be abused. I have been taking my 13 year old Aussie to EAK for about 10 years for boarding or romp and play. It's the only place she loves staying at. She jumps out of the car and runs right in. She wont stay anywhere else. I've also started bringing my aloof Great Pyrenees there for boarding. They take great care of the dogs, have add ons like romp and play, home drop off, and special home cooked meals. The dogs are always bathed when I pick them up. The staff always gives me feedback on the dogs. Last time they stayed, they let the dogs sleep together in the same kennel. I just don't worry when I drop them off for the day or a week. read more
