She took the time to speak with me about my pain points. She confirmed pressure and any issues during the start of my massage. She definitely helped relieve pain in my elbow that has been going on for weeks now and the tension in my back caused my stress and sitting at a desk. We are slowly walking into a post COVID world and Renew Massage completely lived up to its name. Specifically, Renew Massage was embodied by a wonderful masseuse named Tammy. She's a wonderful human as well. The front desk staff I interacted with were wonderful as well. The space is very comfortable and inviting. I arrived early and had 10-15 minutes to spend. The space is very calming and the vibe is mellow. This massage was all the things - pressure was a conversation we had, pain points noted, areas I didn't know were pain points were discovered, but not in an "oh hell" kinda way. I didn't specify a deep tissue massage and I'd imagine Tammy would not have classified it as such, but it was incredibly functional for me - it wasn't relaxing at all times, but a mixture. My body needed some smoothing out and Tammy delivered. I left feeling more relaxed and loose than I've felt in a long while. I will be booking repeat massages, as this massage was so nice. The room was calming. The check in and check out process was efficient without being too fast. The warm face towel at the end was brilliant - this massage was all the things.
