This is family owned and operated. Today we went for u pick tomatoes. Each year I try to grow big tomatoes and fail miserably. Honestly I don't know any other place locally that offers u pick tomatoes in Monroe county. It was an easy walk to the plants and the tomatoes were really big. I can't wait to use them. This is a must try. They also had a wagon ride to the peaches that were ripe. Come fall they have apples too. The store has baked goods and cider etc.

I love that they don't spray year round and they only treat at the beginning of the season and only for the pest(s) identified. They have a tractor with a wavy that takes people out to a specific area to pick different types of apples. They have things working very smoothly here, if a sign is on the ground that row of apples is not ready to be picked. A sign is up telling you all the details about that apple... it's ready to be picked. There were a good number of people picking apples with us but everyone is spaced out very nicely. Tried a few apples and they were crisp and sweet ... feels like fall is here! Back on the wagon up to the barn, where they have these cute old fashioned scales to weigh your apples and pay. The owner Alyssa greeted us and was such an amazing person. She took the time to talk and walk with us on our first tour. She introduced us to a two old worldAmerican duroc's.. about 750 lbs each! They were so cool and chill! One of her pigs was stating to go into labor and expecting 7 piglets.. how exciting! We saw ducks and chickens loving all their festival snacks... we continue to the back area where we walked right into the field with so many pigs! They we're having the time of their life. Sticking their heads into pumpkins and eating them. I've never seen pigs up so close, they were so friendly and honestly could of cared less we were there. I was surprised how soft they were and allowed us to pet them. Next we went further back and met the Scottish highland cows, so stunning. Fabio with his gorgeous hair... accurately named. The adorable baby Maggie. Had to pick up some of their famous candied bacon at their food truck on premise. Giant cool fireplace to warm up at was a huge hit too. I can't say enough great things about Alyssa, her passion and love for this place and her animals are inspiring. She just wants to help educate and give back to her community. She's such an asset.

The staff were very friendly. This is pasture raised pigs at a local farm so you know exactly what you are getting when you buy. They had many options to buy, most of them were pork related but this night they added a chicken option. It's nice to have options. I ordered their BLT and upgraded to the fries. The sandwich was amazing. Seems like you can't mess up a BLT but trust me I have been to places they were awful. There is a difference in quality of the bacon and can understand why it's priced accordingly. They have a website with farm location to actually buy their pork, but also post when they have their amazing food truck open and operating thru the county.
