I love Wickham farms!…read more I've been going here for 4 years and I feel like every year it gets busier (so that does definitely have a downside as the farm and parking lot get full), and they add more cute little things around the farm as well as more events. You're not allowed to bring any food or drinks in, but they now have enough food options that I think most could find something that works for them. The hot foods like burgers are pretty basic and remind me of school lunches, so they're a bit overpriced for what they are. The apple cider shakeups are the best though, and they also have great apple cider donuts and slushy. Highly recommend. Tickets are pretty expensive. If you're an adult without kids, it might be worth it to buy the full ticket pass (for apple picking and the fun farm area) once if you want to check it out, but in general I recommend buying the apple picking ticket only. You get to pick a bag of apples, take some cute pics in some of the areas set up for that purpose, and check out the pumpkins and the store, where you can buy the apple shakeup and donut. In the summer they also have flower picking events and the sunflower spectacular tickets which have also been a great time!

However, I bit the bullet and found the value($23.95 for barnyard tickets and $28.95 including apple picking) to be worthwhile as well as the selection of activities for all ages to be enjoyable. To every member of the staff that we approached, they were all very kind and informative. We got to enjoy the apple cider donuts, apple cider, pumpkin smash, and the ride to the apple orchards. We were surprised to see an event where they drop a large pumpkin high above ground, but it was very cool to watch (and wondered if this was because this was their last weekend of opening!)

However they seem to be known more an more for every year their sunflower fields! With thousands covering the area, so many people stop to take photos and admire these beautiful flowers. I go back each year and it never disappoints! Located on the corner of Clover st and Calkins rd. The sunflower field is across the st from the farm, well you can't miss it!

They have all kinds of pumpkins (edible heirlooms and traditional orange in all shapes and sizes), plus gourds and minis, mums, corn stalks and hay bales, perfect for decorating (and GREAT prices, at $7 for a full-sized hay bale and $20 for 4 gorgeous heirloom pumpkins). Last year I bought 4 heirlooms and used them inside for my seasonal display and they lasted through winter, at which point I processed them all for soup! For families, they have games and play areas, a corn maze, a petting zoo, rides, and an apple blaster where you shoot apples at targets (more fun than it probably sounds!). The apple blaster is also perfect for a friendly competition between friends... Inside they have lots of fall themed decorations available for purchase, plus food that includes fresh apple cider donuts (available as singles, 6 packs and dozens) and local cider, coffee, hot cocoa, fresh popcorn, chili dogs and cookies. We ate a chili dog (good sized red hot with a nice meaty chili and red bean topping), pumpkin coffee, 6 donuts and popcorn while walking around picking our pumpkins, and were very pleased with the taste, portions and quality. This place will be on our list of must-dos for years to come! Definitely recommended!

If you visit ask for Susan the owner she is wonderful, so outgoing and knowledgeable! Had a great time learning about her flower fields. Friday nights come and have a picnic in between the rows or you can choose to sit on chairs. Bring your own food and enjoy sunset it's so beautiful here. The barn has merchandise for sale, along with lavender cuttings there are soaps, candles, and more. Weddings, graduations, showers, endless possibilities to celebrate here. Highly recommend visiting.

The family who runs this farm recognizes us every year when we pay a visit. I should send them a Christmas card. Olin's sells - as you may have guessed - apples! They have a small variety of apples for you to pick from, like Cortland and Red Delicious, and have signs that will tell you which apples are best for eating, which are best for baking with, etc. Naturally, they sell cider here, by the gallon and half gallon, and it's all grown and made on their farm! You can also get a half dozen of small, delicious cider donuts for a cheap cost, as well as jams and jellies that are all homemade. I mean it when I say, this place probably has some of the best apple cider I've ever had. So good that I needed to list their business on Yelp and tell you all about it.
