I love Wickham farms! I've been going here for 4 years and I feel like every year it gets busier (so that does definitely have a downside as the farm and parking lot get full), and they add more cute little things around the farm as well as more events. You're not allowed to bring any food or drinks in, but they now have enough food options that I think most could find something that works for them. The hot foods like burgers are pretty basic and remind me of school lunches, so they're a bit overpriced for what they are. The apple cider shakeups are the best though, and they also have great apple cider donuts and slushy. Highly recommend. Tickets are pretty expensive. If you're an adult without kids, it might be worth it to buy the full ticket pass (for apple picking and the fun farm area) once if you want to check it out, but in general I recommend buying the apple picking ticket only. You get to pick a bag of apples, take some cute pics in some of the areas set up for that purpose, and check out the pumpkins and the store, where you can buy the apple shakeup and donut. In the summer they also have flower picking events and the sunflower spectacular tickets which have also been a great time! read more

My friends and I made it to the last weekend of Apple, picking and activities at Wickham Farms. Truthfully, after looking at the reviews, I was very skeptical about paying for an entrance fee and worried that they were going to be too many children around. However, I bit the bullet and found the value($23.95 for barnyard tickets and $28.95 including apple picking) to be worthwhile as well as the selection of activities for all ages to be enjoyable. To every member of the staff that we approached, they were all very kind and informative. We got to enjoy the apple cider donuts, apple cider, pumpkin smash, and the ride to the apple orchards. What a place!! Would have loved even more if I was able to enjoy this as a child myself! I believe the tickets are fairly priced for the variety of things to keep you busy for HOURS! I'm knowing a star because the bubble area was totally dry, and that's what my son would have LOVED! Also, there's no shade unless you're in a building. There were a lot of kids and activities for them, but it was still enjoyable as an adult. I came for the sunflower spectacular. We took a serene ride to the flower fields, which were so colorful in the summer. There were cute spots for photos. There are some cool old tractors. You can walk through the apple orchards as well. The farm is a bit pricy overall. The cider donut was warm and delicious. They sell large, sugary shaken lemonades. They have a variety of food and beverages around the farm. They have a shop offering cheeses, kettle corn, jams, and other merchandise. We played corn hole, tether ball, and went through the corn maze. They have some goats, hens, and rabbits too. Bathrooms were clean. We left before dinner time, and the parking lot was pretty packed. People had to go to the overflow parking lot. read more

This is a fun place to visit as a family. So many fun things to do. Train rides, tractor rides, mini golf, tractor pulls, zip lines, duck races, apple picking, tasting room, corn maze, and more. The rate to enter the farm and participate in all activities is a little steep. Food and beverages are higher than most competitors. The farm has plenty of trash bins and restrooms throughout the farm. Lots of parking available and easily laid out to get entrance. With my 3 teens we spent about 3 hours before heading out. A one stop shop for parents and kids alike. They have tons of activities for your children to do. I took my almost 7 year old. He loved the zip line and literally did it on his own without my help. I sat from afar and watched. He zipped down and took multiple turns. He had a blast. We also loved the cornucopia. He crawled through it and played with the dump trucks. He also made corn angels. Ended up with some corn in the washing machine and dryer. Whooops. Something to be aware of! It was in his pockets. They had a candy launch. They made sure all kids got a piece of candy. That was good because some kids were crying because they didn't. For adults, they have amazing cider to sip as your kids play. Time for the next gen to go apple picking. Instead of paying by the pound, they now charge admission fee and each paying person gets a tiny apple picking bag. You can pay more for access to other things like a giant jumping pillow. The apple picking was enough for us. You get a wagon ride to the orchard and rows of apples are marked. Wickham farms has always been a hit for our family in the Spring and Summer time. I love how easy it is to get around the farm and so much fun activities for young children to do. Definitely wise to buy your admission online and I think you save a bit! Their cider donuts are also the best I have had! There are lots of activities for the kids- my kids favorites are the corn barn, the jumping pillow, the zip line, and the corn maze, but really they love every activity here. The food and drinks are good and the atmosphere is fun with photo ops everywhere you look (and there must be some magic to the place because I swear the sun shines a little bit brighter at Wickham Farms). I was skeptical especially when I found out it cost money to get in. But I was wrong! The sunflower fields alone were well worth it! I believe it costs less on weekdays. Check their website for current ticket costs. I paid $18 on the weekend. If you have kids - there are lots of fun things for kids to do! Big giant slides, games, and plenty of food! The kids will be entertained for hours! For adults, there are the sunflower and flower fields for which you can cut your own flowers. They are expansive! I was in awe. So many different varieties of sunflowers will be found. There are many places to take amazing pictures. They have outdone their selves with photo areas. For example look at the vintage trailer with Adirondack chairs in the my photos. There's many more amazing photo set ups around the flower farm. The staff was abundant and super helpful. Came from Buffalo to pick apples. The specialty slushee with the doughnut was terrific! Physical plant was beautiful. People working there were very pleasant and the apple picking and apples were outstanding. The problem...overall price and cost structure. It was nearly $25 per person to pick apples and have access to the various areas and activities on the farm. We chose the $12 per person to pick apples, but could not even access the food barn to eat. Probably a missed opportunity in terms of food revenue to have what is essentially a cover charge just to access the food barn. For ease of operation and to maximize profit from food, just set a fixed price $15 or $18 or $20 per person for full access and allow visitors to explore the whole facility, spend more time and spend more money during their time. read more

It was our first visit there, yesterday! A friend of mine suggested we go there, since she's been and gets the season ticket. FIRST IMPRESSIONS: I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the grounds and the fully working, running-water, clean bathrooms! Also, to note the layout of the farm, it was MUCH larger than I had anticipated; It's like a farm-amusement-park! PLAY: They have an amazing set up... I can't believe how many activities, playgrounds, bouncy things and fun places to play that there were and how much fun I actually HAD with my two-and-a-half year old. Usually you are just waiting around watching them play, but there was opportunity to play along at every turn. There were rocking chairs to sit for parents and even a nursing station with a changing table, for nursing your babies in privacy. We did about 75% of the things to do there, in about 4 hours there. The kid-favorites were the Jumping Pillows, Cornacopia "Sandbox" and the Wickham Lines train. FOOD: I ordered the "Shake Up" (frozen-lemonade with custard, I chose Vanilla-Raspberry custard)... SO DELICIOUS! That was my lunch! Hahaha! My friend ordered the little cheese pita-pizza for her daughter, and offered me a slice, and I feel like the sauce could use some improvement, since that's 90% of the flavor. It was very cheesy though! FREE HAYRIDE: We took the hayride last, just for the ride, but as we reached the top I was again, pleasantly surprised to find a very large and lush garden with U-Cut flowers, and a beautiful area with canopied-picnic tables! I was blown away. You are dropped off at the farm store and exited out though it, and there are some very nice shirts, sweatshirts, baby toys, and even baby pacifiers! There's fresh local food in the coolers and delicious smelling body care and candles on the shelves. All clean looking ingredients and sustainable packaging! SUMMARY: I called my husband and asked if I could upgrade my ticket to the season ticket and he said go right ahead. I have never been so excited to spend $60 to go to a farm again & again. This is exactly the type of atmosphere I can support visiting; a well thought out, beautiful, very fun and engaging entertainment for our entire family! My son is two and loves it here. We've taken him twice and he hasn't wanted to leave. There is tons for him to do... from jumping pillows, to animals that you can feed, to the cornacopia (seriously, look it up). They also have food available, although we have only ever gotten their shakeups. Their summer one consists of strawberry lemonade slush mixed in with ice cream and a donut on top. Yummy! We think the yearly membership is worth it because if you go three times, it pays for itself. If you have littles, definitely check this place out! read more

I'm pretty stuck between a 2 and a 3 star rating here, but decided to bump up to a three as a result of a little (huge) thing called the "fall shake up." Slushie apple cider mixed with french vanilla ice cream and topped with a DONUT. Hello? My partner and I split this delicacy and wow it would be worth a return visit for that alone. At $10 it is overpriced and you're paying for the experience and the Yelp photo and brain freeze...but wow it is so good. That's pretty much where the rave ends for me. Mind you, we did go as two childless adults, and paid for tickets ahead of time thinking there would be more things to do for folks our age. Let me be clear: there is not. For $20 we got 10 full minutes of farm fun. We did do the corn mazes which are pretty easy peasy and provide a cute photo opp, and we were hoping to buy pumpkins. I am sorry to say the prices here for any additions to your experience are out of control. $7/pumpkin, $10 if you want to pick apples, and cider is $8 or $9? It was all just too much for us to justify buying any of it so we went to Wegmans and purchased our pumpkins there instead. We're planning to hit a smaller farm stand as well for the rest of our gourd related needs. If you have older kids I could see this being a fine option for family fun if you have disposable income. There is a big jumping bubble thing, a slide, and a few other cute activities for kids to enjoy. The animals looked miserable and were upsetting to me, the photo opps are part of the free section, and you can pumpkin pick without paying for admission. Had a pleasant experience today turned into an unpleasant and weird experience that left us feeling uncomfortable. We asked if we needed to buy a wristband at admission to have a hard cider and buy some pumpkins-the employee told us no but thanks for asking. We had two hard ciders at the cider barn. Went up to an employee to tell her that kids were throwing pumpkins and breaking them unsupervised. She asked if we had wristbands and we said no they told us we were okay, she said we were in the wrong area and that we needed wristbands. I explained that we were buying pumpkins and leaving anyway but that we really weren't trying to do anything wrong. She said if we wanted a drink we could just go to a bar! (My bad I wanted to have a drink and buy some pumpkins outside of a bar) my wife doesn't drink so places like this are great for her to also be able to have something. I fly into town every fall to experience the farm's pick-and-play. It's always a wonderful experience. I don't know that any other farm could beat the candy cannon, inspired decor (that makes taking photos there super fun), apple nachos, shake up (cider and cream drink with a cinnamon donut ring), apple cannon, or other cool finds at Wickham Farms. Such a wonderful day at Wickham Farms. We got the Pick N Play and had a great time. Can be pricy as other folks mentioned, especially if you have little ones, but there are lots of activities for them. If you're on a date, definitely worth the splurge for the Apple Cider Slushie and things like donuts and kettle corn. Apple picking was super fun and the apples tasted amazing. The Apple cannon was definitely the most fun activity. Most of the other activities were geared towards kiddos, but tbh I came because I saw all the backdrops they had for great photos and was not disappointed. For the last two years we have come here to celebrate the Fall as a family. The farm is always so clean and staff are beyond friendly. During the Fall season they offer apple picking, pumpkin picking, and fun activities for the kids. My son Noah loved the giant slide the most! Next year we cannot wait to try out the jumping pillow and corn barn. They also have a little grill on site for lunch. We got burgers and chicken fingers. All delicious! I highly suggest getting their warmed apple cider or apple cinder frost drinks! We always get some donuts as well. They are always fresh and warm; so yummy. I had the best time here yesterday with my friend and her daughters! Keep in mind we came on a Monday when we had the farm virtually to ourselves. A pay one price ticket is available for all attractions. (except for food and to cut sunflowers of course) Facility is clean and well organized , lots of seating areas to watch kids at play (or play yourself, your choice) . The highlight of the farm for me was the sunflower fields. Several couches , swings, benches and bikes are placed throughout the field, so you can get that perfect family pic or selfie. Whoever came up with the concept and layout of this deserves a pat on the back . The Sunflowers of Sanborn ( closer to the WNY area) needs to step up their game! This place was so much fun! They have really cool photo op spots all around like a piano in the middle of the sunflower field, a swing, couches, and chairs. You can get some pretty cool photos, I even saw someone doing a maternity shoot too which was cute. They had some really cute baby animals too but there is a double fence so you can pet them, which was disappointing. I'm sure there is a good reason for it though! Great place for a day of fun. Good admissions price for kids fare, a little pricey for adults considering the lack of adult attractions. Parking is included, so that was a plus. Plenty of apples for picking and the sunflowers were amazing. We missed the lavender and several other flowers being in bloom. Gardens were otherwise very pretty. We are on a roll with the pumpkin farms this fall! Wickham is the third we have visited in the area. It sounded an awful lot like my running favorite (Stokoe Farms), so we thought we would give it a go for something new! When we arrived, they had a friendly gentleman directing traffic. There are two parking lots, and each row has a "label" so you don't get lost finding your car. The parking lanes were manicured and well thought out as far as pumpkin farm parking goes, and I appreciated that. The farm itself was not nearly as big as I expected! They had an EXCELLENT selection of pumpkins. A lot of photo ops, a few delicious looking food stalls. Apple picking looked like it could be fun, although we didn't spring for it this time around because it was kind of on the pricey side. For kids, it's a paradise - an obstacle course, a few slides, a bubble station, a "spider web", a giant corn kernel sandbox, puzzle games, jumping pillows. There wasn't nearly as much to do for the adults, so if you're not coming with kids, it might not be worth the admission price - mini golf, apple cannons, a corn maze, apple picking, and a tractor ride. It looks like they also have sunflowers when the time is right too, so we may have to go back for that. Overall I wasn't disappointed, but I was still hoping for more. We ended up grabbing a bag of donuts on the way out (delicious), 3 jumbo sized carving pumpkins, and some fudge. Couldn't pass that up! If you have kids and want to have a fun fall experience, I would definitely recommend. It's probably my second favorite so far! read more

Just came here on Friday for our monthly wellness event for work! The new property is beautiful, and extremely well maintained - every single inch of this place was clean. We had a great time eat donuts and riding on the wagon, but I wish that this farm was set up differently. Right now, you have to pay $10 to enter the "barnyard" which has the majority of activities in it (bounce pillows, animals,etc.) which makes sense. The only issue is, this area is also where the food is located. We all wanted to grab something to eat while we were out, but would have had to pay $10 just to get to the area, and then for whatever food we wanted. They did have a sandwich option in the main area but we wanted some more options! Just seemed a little lame to me. Also - would love if they had their apples out in bags to sell! I wanted some apples but didn't necessarily want to go picking! All in all, a good farm, but know when you plan that without paying to do the barnyard area there's not a ton to do, or many food options! read more

Their new location was a bit disappointing. I'll start off with some positives: it's a beautiful, large area. Delicious apple cider donuts. Tons of pumpkins, a big shopping area with lots of seasonal goodies, apple picking, some animals, and a bunch of kids activities. I think the sunflower field was done by the time we made it out to the farm, but that must be beautiful too. However, the $15 ($10 on weekdays) admission per person to enjoy the kids activities is too much. I feel fine paying that for the child, but not for myself. An adult can't actually participate in most of activities, but has to be there to supervise the child. So you're kind of stuck there. It's a big change from the old location. The free area is the inside market area with donuts and treats. Outside, you can look at the pumpkins and apple picking. But these are all items you pay for anyway. So basically it's just shopping. They do have the farm animals (goats, chickens, bunnies) bordering the 'free' area, but they are situated so that it's easier to see them on the wristband-only side (the bunnies are along that fence). The alpaca they advertise is in the paid section too. As I understand that moving to such a large area is expensive, with these prices it will be hard to retain customers. Still fun to experience this farm for a day, but ultimately, the cost is steep. read more

This is a pretty cute place out in the East suburbs of Rochester where kids can come in play all kinds of games and do all kinds of stuff and whatever they want to. It's right next door to the YMCA and it's got animals and all kinds of other awesome stuff. I think the kids seem to particularly enjoy the bouncy castle. read more
