Amy, the driver, apologized, and within ten minutes, called back saying she could get another seat that's 20 minutes away. After waiting by the curb for an hour for them to get a properly sized seat, it wouldn't secure to their vehicle and the back strap appeared to be shearing off. Absolutely unacceptable from a safety standpoint (and professionally, for that matter). We kindly let them know this wouldn't work and went our separate ways and found other transportation. Amy was also apologetic, but that's where decency ended. Amy then tried to keep payment, justifying that since she had to travel to go get the other car seat, that made it fair even though they didn't render the transportation service. The sole reason they had to go get another car seat (which again wasn't suitable) is because they provided one that was far too small than requested, more than 6kg out of range. (We called them once to confirm this was something they could accommodate, and then again to book it and confirm). While unfortunate, their lack of providing the proper seat we requested/paid for isn't our fault. This is very simple. After traveling for 30 hours, what should've been an easy to and from shuttle ended up being hours wasted sitting outside. Attempting to keep the payment is incredibly dishonest and telling about their operations and character. Disgusting behavior. (not that this really matters to me as I would've done it regardless, but paying $200 for a one-way shuttle and loading your own luggage while the driver just stands there is really something else)

Tour is about 12 minutes long and we cruised through the atrium which took us through every section of the resort. There are lush gardens, waterfalls and it is very peaceful even with the music. I jammed out to Opalite by Taylor Swift and Amy and I chatted about her recent wedding and how happy we are for her! It was so nice that I plan to take another regular tour during my time at the resort. FIVE STARS!

I absolutely love that the L&N Train Station has reopened. ( We had photos taken here fifteen years…read moreago! ) Although I missed the official Grand Opening, I made sure to make a trip and bring the whole family. I have been here several times and with my son, but have never been inside the station. We were greeted as we walked up (the ramp). So welcoming! Large, clean spaces inside the newly renovated / updated interior with few relics of what once was. The two bathrooms are huge plus the new little kitchen is great for the space as it is available for rent (via Clarksville Parks & Recreation). Simple and comfortable (fully air-conditioned) for any event. We walked through looking at each display and reading the banners about the history of the L&N train and its significance. So great to have this historical piece still available for the public. They are only open two days (Tuesday and Thursday) from 10AM to 3PM. My son enjoyed exploring the train car. They have a step stool, if needed. Luckily, he is light enough to be lifted up onto the train. We did not stay long as it is very hot today. Going back into the station was perfect for a bathroom break and to cool off before going to get lunch downtown! Check out my pix... also, the little playground nearby has been renovated recently. Covered picnic table for when it's a tad cooler (for us) to enjoy while littles can play. Free parking and entrance. Go support a piece of our local history!

My friends and I booked the pink limo for a Nashville bachelorette, and what should have been a fun, easy experience turned into a complete headache. Trey, the owner, was nice at first--but that changed the second we had issues. He became flaky, unresponsive, and full of excuses. First red flag: they only accept payment through Venmo, Cash App, or Apple Pay. That should have told us everything--you have little to no protection if something goes wrong. We were promised amenities like glasses, water, ice, karaoke, and Bluetooth. When we got there, multiple items were missing and the limo itself felt run down. There was no AC, which made it miserable with 11 people inside. The Bluetooth didn't work because the driver didn't have the PIN, so we literally had to turn around and get our own speaker. No glasses, no karaoke--just a lot of things that were advertised but not delivered. Trey added an extra bottle of champagne and a bachelorette sign, but that doesn't make up for the basics not being there--especially AC. The only positive was our driver, Bennie, who was kind and did his best with what he had. After the trip, I reached out to Trey for a partial refund. That's when the real frustration started. He kept telling me "give me 48 hours" or "text me tomorrow," and this went on for over a week. Every day it was a new excuse--he was busy, had a music video shoot, was dealing with family issues, even said his son was attacked. I tried to be understanding, but at some point it's just unprofessional. He eventually offered a $75 credit--which is useless when you don't live in Nashville. I asked for a refund instead and got completely ignored and strung along again. We never received any money back. The bottom line is that a few add-ons don't make up for false advertising, broken amenities, and no AC.
