We had a one-night stay at this property and would not stay here again. I picked this hotel thinking it didn't really matter which hotel we chose because they are all the same in this category, but our stay here was unpleasant. Starting with check-in on a Saturday afternoon, the person who checked us in was curt and even a bit rude. I let it pass without comment, but even my fella picked up on it afterward and said to me "was it just me or was she pretty rude?". The second bad aspect of our stay was getting room # 101, which is at the end of the hallway and next to an exit. The door banged constantly and it was not a relaxing space. Lastly, the room itself was just not comfortable. The lighting was harsh in the room. The room divider seemed a bit outdated. The closet was weird (no safe) and the bathroom was broken up into two small rooms, both of which did not offer much privacy to the sleeping area. The pillows were too soft and the breakfast did not have many appetizing hot options, but did have fresh bananas. I think this is the last Spring Hill Suites I'll try. read more

This is one of the best Marriot hotels I have ever been to - clean & spacious rooms, solid complimentary hot breakfast and gorgeous surrounding area around the hotel. My family and I stayed here for a single night on a June Thursday evening and (almost) everything was perfect about this hotel. From the moment we drove up, we knew this was going to be a great, comfortable stay. The hotel is located in quite a secluded, corporate area surrounded by lush, beautifully mowed grass. In fact, we saw a few deers outside of the hotel beyond the parking lot. The lobby and breakfast dining area are modern and so was the very spacious room we got. We stayed in a suite/room with 2 Queen beds. Surprisingly, the room's bathroom is actually separated into 2 rooms - 1 with the toilet and a sink and the other with the shower and a sink. And both rooms are not connected. That was a first for me. The ONLY complaint we had about the room was the fact that the sinks were clogged and every time we used them, the water would get backed up. As for the daily free hot breakfast, which goes from 6 - 9:30 AM, it was pretty good. It wasn't the best free hot breakfast I ever had, but it had its surprises - like complimentary bottles of regular milk and horizon chocolate milk. In addition, they even offered Silk soy milk, which I love. There were scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, oat meal, waffles, fruits, cereals, yogurt, coffee, juices, BUT, surprisingly, no muffins. Overall, couldn't really complain about much. If you want to sleep comfortably during your vacation, you should be able to get PLENTY of good rest here. read more

I love staying here, it's a hotel for the working class so no kids running up and down the hall, it's quiet, immaculately clean and it has everything you need. Basic appliances, mini fridge, work area, shower and toilet are separate so if you're sharing the space with someone else it's great for privacy. It also has a very small pool, but I swear it's big enough. Gym available, Amazon delivers insanely quick if you forget anything. Central location. read more

Every time my team arrives, Kaitlyn is always incredible, and happy to assist! She makes our stay easy. After a very long day onsite, her kindness and humor make the long day ok. This hotel is well maintained and located close to Trenton airport. The room was spacious, with a sitting area and a small sink with microwave area. The low rating is based on the check in experience. I walked in and although no one else was in the lobby, I was not greeted or helped by the employee behind the desk. Eventually another employee came behind the desk and checked me in. I had small children, car seats, and luggage with me. After getting on the elevator and then walking down to my room, I realized that the keys that I was given didn't work. When I lugged everything back down to the front desk, I was not acknowledged by the person that was on their cell phone again. The hotel was great physically, but the check in experience was not good. When I checked out early the next morning, there was another lady there who was much better. read more

This hotel is as good as it gets! I stayed here for 1-night for a business trip. I chose this hotel as I'm a Marriott member and found this to be a good location, with free breakfast, free parking and a nice pool. My dad accompanied me on this trip. We stayed in room 110 and were pleased with the two comfy queen beds, the small couch with an ottoman, mini-fridge, microwave, work desk with room divider, walk-in closet, bathroom, and separate bathroom with a shower. The room was so clean and it was the perfect size for two people (honestly, we could have easily fit another person as well), as we could both have our privacy in the two bathrooms and there were plenty of places to hang out in the room/ hotel. The room was perfect. We took advantage of the pool and it was awesome- the water felt great. I enjoyed the hot breakfast the next day as well. My dad can't stop raving about this hotel and our experience here. This location is great as it's close to the highway and there is a really nice walking trail that you can enjoy on a nice day. We took advantage of it and went on a great evening walk. The staff here are incredibly nice and clearly care about the guest experience. My dad made friends with the manager, Brooks, who was exceptionally kind. I will be back the next time I am staying in Princeton for work! read more

My only reason for three stars is the desk staff!! I had lengthy conversations with about 3 and all were great. Now the room, 314, great size. The toilet room had a broken mirror, and the lock was broken. The tub/sink room had no light on the mirror, no way to keep water in the tub for my kids, and there was unfinished drywall near the outside of that door. The air conditioner in this room sounds like a train anytime it is on. Now to the amenities, the pool, dirty and cold. ( do not let the pictures deceive you) it's small, had bugs in it and was cold. Breakfast was nice for those who can eat gluten. I could only enjoy hard boiled eggs. Lastly, my husband spotted a pill on the floor of the third floor elevator area, I proceeded to pick it up and place it on top on the hand sanitizer station ( which was empty) to keep from small children. I informed the front desk and they said they would go dispose of it ( I wasn't comfortable holding it very long). The hotel was pretty clean, but is lacking in some areas. read more

I loved this hotel! There was just something about it that made me feel like I was a real life Barbie doll in my Barbie room or something! It was modern, clean, cute and sectioned off so nicely I wanted to use the desk office area even though I had no need! The pool was cold unfortunately but so pretty (not incl the water bug - ewww!) Our continental breakfast was the best Ive EVER had! I had granola cereal, eggs, a banana and GOOD coffee but there was alot to choose from besides just bagels and muffins (although they were there too). Everything about this place was mostly great. Everything was nice and clean. Checkin was great. Little bit of mildew in the corners/edges of the shower. The bartender (Peter) was an absolute ZERO. Every single drink ordered he had to charge to the room. If I ordered 1 and my wife (obviously same room) ordered 1 he made us charge it separately to the room. Big shout out to Michele Chu and all the staff at the Springhill Suites in Ewing, NJ for making our wedding room block go off without any issues! When my husband and I booked our wedding venue in Hamilton, NJ, we started looking into hotels in the area. There were a few to choose from and so I began writing down the ins and outs of each. When I called Springhill Suites, I spoke with Michele. who was extremely detailed. She gave me all the information I would need and even let me come by early to drop off our hotel bags. From the very beginning, she was extremely attentive and helpful. When we arrived, the staff was equally as good. They greeted me with a smile, helped grab all the bags I brought (which was a lot), and got us checked in at a decent time. Our wedding block was this past Sunday, the 1st, and although the weddings the night before had issues, we thankfully did not. I heard about the issues and was concerned it would happen again to my guests but was grateful that all went smoothly. I feel sorry for the other guests and I hope the rest of their wedding went much better! As for the rooms, they were overall great. The only issue I personally had was that there were stains on all the bedding. I'm sure the sheets were, in fact, clean but it just didn't look clean and grossed me out. I wound up taking other sheets and laying them on the ones on the bed and taking off pillow cases and using a blanket to cover it. These weren't little stains either so I feel like, if your staff is changing a bed and clearly sees this, they should retire those sheets. The hotel itself is also not very quiet. The night before the wedding I wanted a good night sleep but didnt go to bed until like 3am because I could hear people screaming and yelling down the halls, doors slamming, toilets flushing. I wish i had brought my earplugs, which I usually do but forgot. Other than those two issues, I found the hotel to be great. It was 15min from our venue, an easy ride, and had plenty of parking. The rooms were big, the sofa was nice and clean, the showers were big and their was ample closet space. The free continental breakfast was great as well. There was enough variety, a waffle maker, and the coffee was great. My guests were hanging out the next morning and all complimented the food/coffee. No one really mentioned anything wrong and all said the hotel was nice and rooms were great. All in all, we were all happy, which made me a very happy bride. read more

I stayed here on 12/15-12/16 - Check in was a bit of an issue, due to me not understanding the policy of having to put a hold on my card for incidentals. I got that squared away then off to my room. Once I got to my door, the key card was not working. So I went back to the elevator to use the phone to call the lobby. The phone didn't work. So I had to take all my luggage back down to the front desk. One of the employees came back up with me. He told me that I could have used the phone. I advised him that the phone didn't work. Apparently the door sticks and you have to push down on the handle with all your weight. Annoying. Once I was finally in the room it was adorable. The bed was very comfortable and I loved that the toilet and shower were in two separate rooms. The sink where the toilet was would not drain. I didn't notice it until the next morning. The shower was great but there was also an issue with the shower door. It would not shut tight. So when I stepped out of the shower I was stepping into a lake. It took 2 bath towels to clean up the mess. I checked out early the next morning around 6:30am as I had to be at work. I wasn't aware that I should have told them previously and the front desk person seemed a little annoyed. The free breakfast was better than I thought it would be. Lots of hot foods, fruits and cereal. Despite the issues - I would definitely stay at this hotel again read more

We we're very pleased with this Marriott. I guess it can be compared to their Courtyards, but a step up for sure. It is tucked away in an industrial complex, but still very convenient from 295 Ewing exit. The lobby houses a bar and incidentals shop. And a few pcs that guests can use if needed. The small pool area and gym are in this central area, and both were more than adequate. The room was small but very well thought out. An L shaped couch and coffee table were separated from the bedroom area by a cool desk with frosted glass wall. The flat screen tv was positioned in a way that it could be turned to that section of the room or the bedroom. The shower was behind a frosted glass sliding door with its own sink, another small room housed the toilet and hand sink. Maybe the best perk in staying here was enjoying a very comprehensive continental breakfast in the morning. I travel quite a bit on business and my stay here was quite wonderful. The staff was very friendly, professional, and pleasant. The king suite was quite spacious and clean. I loved the separate sink/toilet half bathroom from the spacious shower and sink half bathroom. The bed was quite comfy with plenty of pillows. I try to stay at SpringHill Suites as often as I can and this location wasn't bad at all. I'm not too sure if their delivery for their mini store didn't come in as the drink selection was pretty slim and the bar area didn't have any club soda/sparkling water as they were out. I hated I had to travel to a convenience store instead or to either order food delivery or drive to grab food. The breakfast buffet had great selections, so the breakfast wasn't bad at all. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will be staying here within the next couple of weeks as I have to work at the nearby hospital again. read more

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a package purchased through Sesame Place. It is about 15 minutes away from Sesame Place which was fine for us as we didn't want to stay anywhere closer that would be swarmed with kids. It was a little hard to find as it is new and our GPS couldn't locate it but we did find it after all. There did not appear to be any close by restaurants or shopping. The hotel was very modern & crisp - I loved the look of it. The lobby included plenty of seating, a small bar, tables with chairs, and a small area to buy snacks, drinks, etc. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. We appeared to be the only guests that were "Sesame Place"-goers...most everyone looked like they were on business travel. We LOVED our modern room. The shower & sink were in a separate room than the toilet & another small corner sink. Both maximized space by using pocket doors. One of the pocket doors, however, was so hard to slide that it took all of my strength to open & close it. The beds were comfortable and pillows were soft & plentiful. We loved the desk that had a sliding frosted glass partition. The shower was very clean though there was a large hair on the side of the shower from the precious guest. Towels were plentiful and toiletries were provided. We appreciated the mini bar area and shelves for storing our food goods for the time we were there. We do wish it was easier to watch TV from the couch while not disturbing sleepers (it would be great if the TV's were on a swivel). I used the gym - very nice equipment and it was being used by others but not crowded. Indoor pool was really neat with a circular rain feature but the water was quite cold. The business center consisted of two internet accessible computers. Both were running so slow that I was not able to access the websites I needed to complete some work (I had left my personal laptop at home). With the curtains were blackout curtains....as they did let in a good amount of light. And there must be a small airport nearby as we heard quite a bit of noise from the planes taking off/landing. I stayed here for a quick weekend trip. The hotel was fine, clean and the check in progress was fast and easy. My only complaint was that the the walls are thin and the doors are heavy. I could here people coming and going all night which made it incredibly difficult to sleep. I was awoken multiple times during the night. And though not the hotels fault, guests congregated into the night in the hallways talking which again kept me awake. Not the most relaxing place, but more than acceptable for the price. read more

This is a mixed review for the following reason. This hotel is very nice, however, considering that it is near an airport, however small, a shuttle van that provides transport to the airport and possibly to a convenience store as there is nothing close by and the hotel's food selection is sparse and unhealthy. The hotel is very nice and has a simple gym with indoor pool but that is the extent of its real offerings. By their own definition, the hotel offers "fair foods"! Yes, foods you would purchase at a fair.. Chicken strips.. Quesadillas.. And an extremely small selection of processed frozen meals. Yes, they have a number of take out menus, but you know you have to spend a lot to get those delivered, so no great options for a single person. For a Marriott brand, I would expect a bit more. My daughter and I stayed two nights this past weekend. I was very disappointed because the pool had no water in it. We were not informed about this before making reservations or at check-in. Also the breakfast was grab-and-go which I did not know about either. Other than those two things, the hotel was in good condition and clean. The room was very spacious and well-kept. When my daughter, my husband, and I arrived, we were told the pool would be closed for several weeks due to monkeypox. Three star style hotel, I give them four for service, comfort,and general attention to detail. Rooms are very large; I didn't take any photos because enough have already been taken by other Yelpers. The bed is very comfortable, with two separate rooms for the bath: One for the toilet, one for the walk-in shower, each with their own sink. The sliding doors for the bathrooms are pretty novel, and the partition between the bed in the sitting area is a nice touch. Mini fridge and microwave in the room. The lobby is freaky modern, just like in the photos, with a bar, and a fire pit right outside. Indoor pool and fitness room. Hot Breakfast is included, advertised it starting at seven on weekends, but well underway at six this Saturday because of the hordes of hungry kids in the hotel. We stayed here last summer for our vacation to Sesame Place and loved it! It was really clean and modern. The design of the room is wonderful! We even got a chance to take a dip in the pool. Even though it was very small, we were the only ones there! There must be an airport near the hotel, please don't get me wrong, because we never heard of the planes go by in our room (which is another reason to love this place). But our daughter sure loved seeing the planes go by and so close everytime we were outside. Last and definitely not least, the complientary breakfast was excellent! It offered hot and cold breakfast and there were different items on the menu each day! And now on another note for Sesame Place parents: there is a local Subway shop near the hotel - probably around 5-8 mins away. Definitely bring your own lunch to the park instead of buying their pricey heated up frozen food! With that said, this is a great hotel! I got married 6/30 at Grounds for Sculpture and I decided to use spring hill suites for my wedding room block because they were easy to book, quick to respond, have a complimentary small hotel shuttle you can use, and no pentalties for unhooked rooms or attrition. Also they let me book their conference room really cheap to use as a getting ready room for hair/makeup with my bridesmaids which ended up being perfect! They kept the bar open late on our wedding night so our guests could keep the party going. They handed out all of our welcome gift bags to our guests free of charge. They let me do a late checkout the day after the wedding so we could sleep in. But above all the thing that made this hotel the best was my contact person- Michele Chu. She would always email me updates about who had booked in the block and promptly answer any questions I had. Our wedding night Michele had left a bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room and it was the sweetest thing ever. I'm in Ewing fairly often for work and this is my hotel of choice, despite a Marriott Courtyard & an Element being closer to my firm's campus. It's tucked away in a business park but they've done a bit with signage to ensure folks are able to locate the premises. Staff is friendly and competent. Housekeeping is efficient (note: they come very early). Beds are comfy - I love all the pillows. The mirror/vanity/lighting in the bathroom makes me look FABULOUS. Aircon & heating are quite responsive to thermostat changes. Free wi-fi is fairly quick. Whomever they use for dry cleaning is good. & there are a ton of restaurants nearby - Metro, Primo, Villa Rosa, Wildflowers, Five Guys, etc. My only complaints are that you can literally hear your neighbor's door slam shut as if it were your own door, and that the TV doesn't have some type of info option to tell you what's on. Also, the bar seems like it's never staffed in the evening, although you can always find someone for service with no trouble, & I may be biased considering I show up past 10pm (how YOU doin'?). read more
