My husband and I stayed overnight while in town for a lecture. I enjoyed our stay so much that I was genuinely bummed that our stay was only one night. The room was clean, the bed extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere cozy. Additional amenities included an in-room fridge, comfortable couch, microwave, and desk. What we found truly unique was the toilet and shower in separate rooms. I honestly cannot wait for an opportunity to once again be a guest at Springhill Suites. SpringHill suites is a Mariott owned hotel in downtown Indianapolis Indiana that me and a few buddies stayed at while in town for a football game at nearby Lucas oil stadium. The hotel was in easy walking distance of the stadium and great place to stay when in town for an event or game at Lucas oil. It is also in easy walking distance to a lot of the downtown Indy night life, eateries and robust public art scene. The hotel itself fits the Mariott standard well in that is clean, well upkept and has spacious and comfy rooms. Also boosts the complimentary breakfast which is always nice. Staff here on our visit was good. Being downtown you do pay a hefty daily parking but the attached parking garage makes moving In and out easy if you are driving places. Overall was a pleasant visit and our team we came to watch (go cards!) won the football game making it a memorable weekend. read more

Such an amazing stay! All the staff were friendly and so accommodating. The fridges in the room are small AF and they let us store our leftovers in the hotel fridge. The rooms were great for our family of 3 who needed a separate sleeping area for our 5yo. That lobby is great bc I usually wake up before everyone and it's nice to have a lounge area w tvs where I can come down and relax. Gym was huge! Convenient parking as well and close but not too close to the Fever games. Biggest downside was slow elevators and no pool. read more

Weird hotel with 1/2 being Courtyard by marriott and the other half being springhill suites. We stayed on 12th floor, and since 1 of 2 elevators were broken, it was faster to take 1 of the 3 courtyard elevators. The floors flow into each other. If you wanted ice, you had to go to Courtyard. They share a lobby fitness center, a valet, and a parking garage. Checkin service was very slow. New employees who could only do basics. Had to keep getting manager. The breakfast was pretty bad. Fake eggs, sausage or biscuits n gravy. No biscuits were there when we went through. 1 waffle machine for a ton of people. Thick Sysco bagels or small bulk scones or a pot of oatmeal was there. Kids could get cereal or yogurt. Room was comfortable with shower and sink in 1 room and toilet and sink in another. Small sitting area with desk and couch. Location of hotel is perfect. Close to aaa baseball park or zoo or museums or concert venue or white river park. read more

Our room for the convention was very spacious considering there would be five of us in this one room. The price for Friday and Saturday was almost double what it was for Thursday. Absolutely insane, but that was the practice for all hotels this weekend as it was the Indy 500 as well as Comic-Con. Our room split the bathroom into a vanity with shower and water closet w/vanity. While this is an ideal thing for rooms with multiple ppl getting ready, in and out, the barn-style doors with the frosted privacy glass was NOT. There was no lock and no ventilation. Our huge king size bed felt like we were laying on sun-baked sand. Our sheets were very clean, as was the entire room. We were booked in a suite with a connecting suite for the rest of our group. Had plenty of towels. The concierge, notably Andrea, were super helpful and very accommodating!!! They even gave us a later checkout. read more

I run the Indy Mini Marathon each year so we finally decided to stay downtown as the parking during that event is crazy. So if you are looking for a great spot at the start line for the Indy Mini this is it! So the parking is underground and around $35 night - you have to find an offer while booking to make sure the parking is included with the room. Its not cheap to stay here but its really about the convenience of being downtown close to all the shopping, restaurants, venues. The interior of our room had a separation between living area/bedroom that had a pull out couch and desk to work. Our room included a mini fridge and coffee maker. The bathrooms are unique in the sense that the toilet and shower are two different rooms. The only issues is there are no locks on the restrooms doors. The room service was good as they checked in on us and asked if we needed anything like trash taken or extra towels etc. The staff were friendly and try to keep everyone happy. The breakfast is your normal eggs, sausage and make your own waffles and much needed coffee. I used the gym and just have your key ready to get in. The gym equipment was really nice each treadmill had its own TV attached. Overall, this hotel is a decent hotel to stay while your downtown. read more

This is a nice place to stay. It is centrally located to the downtown area and close .5 mile to Lucas Oil Stadium. Downtown area is a short walk .5 mile approximately to restaurants and stores. You will need to check-in at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel that is directly connected to The Springhill Suites (like other guests have posted). They serve breakfast everyday from 6:30 -9:30am. SpringHill Suites are nice chains to stay at usually. This one is no different. There are a bunch of Marriott hotels I. This area. It's right across the street from a museum and park and very close to a small minor league baseball stadium and from where the Colts play. Also not a very far walk to a Mall and tons of restaurants. The rooms are all apartment styles as well with a separate living room and bedroom section. Also plenty of space to spread out which is always great. It's a nice place to stay, okay? Good location if you want to be downtown. Rooms are spacious and climate control is easily done. Room Service from nearby eateries is a plus. Staff was super friendly and helpful every step of the way. Beds are comfortable, water pressure is good. Only complaint? Parking on site is the HIGHEST I've ever seen for any hotel in any city I've ever been to. Include that in your stay, please. And rates are pricey. Never been to Indy before (and guessing locals don't call it Indy, since I am from Southern California and locals don't call it SoCal). I was here for a convention. Booked this hotel for our group as we were sharing rooms and this place offered larger ones. Impressive lobby. Very modern look, but very approachable. The lobby was FULL of partiers when I checked in. I know that isn't typical, but they were a bit smashed and laughing and yelling. Made it hard to hear much of anything other than them. Friendly staff: they truly go out of their way to help. Whenever a hotel adds "Let us know if there is anything you need," I am impressed. For the first time in a long time I had to use my room card to access the elevator, but I only saw it as added security. It's a bit confusing because this hotel, the Courtyard and another Marriott property are all connected (and I mean literally!) My bank of elevators was BEFORE the ones for the other Marriott. So yes, a tad confusing. My room had two queen beds. Interesting modern room, with frosted sliding pocket doors on the powder room (toilet and sink) and shower room (sink and shower). The latter door didn't stay shut unless I propped my shoe over the stopper. Beds very cozy and I have a terrible back. Ipod dock on the alarm clock was a nice addition. Here are my nit picks: The vent above my closet was a speaker for the room next door. The first night all I could hear was them yelling and laughing until 1 AM. I had an early alarm, so this wasn't a great start. Water pressure: Not enough. Enough said. WiFi a bit laggy. NOTE: If you are attending a conference this hotel has to be at least a .7 mile walk (indoors) to the exhibit hall. For me this was too far, as I made several back and forth trips in a day, but I'm not convinced there was a closer hotel. The Conference Center is attached to several hotels, malls, restaurants, and this can be a little confusing. *Happily you pass a Starbucks on the way to the Convention Center. Caveats: I didn't eat any of the breakfasts while I was there, as I am frankly not a breakfast eater. Cab ride to and from airport weirdly varied from $30-40. I've been in a lot of cities and a five dollar difference is no biggie. Ten bucks and I wonder.... read more

Talk about an amazing staff. Monica, Whitley and Byron were just on it my entire stay. Monica was so kind and welcomed not just me but my parents as we stayed during a family emergency. She not only listened to our needs, provided just an outstanding customer service experience. My friend and I traveled here for her tummy tuck. We stayed at this hotel for 9 days and OMG, the staff was so friendly and helpful. They were so accommodating to all her & I needs. Very, very generous and just down to earth. Definitely made it hard to leave. The only one downfall, was NO swimming pool. The worst experience ever！！！The elevator was broken, we have to go out of the parking with luggages and looking for the entrance. The entrance also broken so we have to entre by another hotel. I wait for 20 mn for check in, and the staff at the front desk took another 10mn on phone call, no apology , no apology, no apology at all !!! Sound insulation is so bad that if there's someone next door, you can hear everything. No free parking, 34$ per night! She gave us an upgrade in floor level and a room with an amazing view! We reserved one room for the Bride and bridesmaids to stay and get ready in and another for the groom and groomsmen. In the ladies room she had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us and for the men she had beer and cookies! This was so wonderful to have and made us feel so special! Check in was pretty smooth, except finding out about 2 parking options. $25 self park, and $29 valet. That may be a good deal, compared to other hotels downtown, but hotels should never charge for self-parking, or Internet. Once we came to our room, we found that this hotel is a bit tired and worn. Our room has some issues, and the housekeeping also has some issues. The couch is worn out, and lacks proper support. The carpet has many, many stains, and and the fitted skirts on the beds are sagging. When I opened the curtain to check out our Western view, there were dead ladybugs and lollipop sticks on the window sill, along with face prints and fingerprints on the glass. Next, we looked at the unusual bathroom accommodations. Powder bath with sliding door, and a separate sink and shower, with separate sliding door. While it solves some usage issues it also creates another by having both doors in front of the beds, making the first one up wake up the rest of the guests in the room. The powder bath was dusty, and had some yellow brown stains on the wallpaper next to the toilet. These get hidden behind the sliding door when it is open, and it is apparent that the housekeeping staff doesn't close that door to see if any cleaning is required behind it. We did have skittles visible under the couch and bed as well. While not gross, just a sign of lacking attention to detail. When I was the first one awake in the morning, I decided to get in the shower. Unfortunately we had a very slow drain in the tub. It was obvious that this has been a problem for some time, based on the orange (rust) stains on the lower part of the shower curtain. I took up my dissatisfaction with the front desk, and while the woman tried to accommodate me, I don't like excuses like "that room must not have been occupied last night, otherwise this would have been addressed". Please don't lie, or make excuses. Apologize, and make a plan to correct. That plan to correct was successful for the shower drain, but the housekeeping staff missed a lot. They only emptied 1 trash can, not both. They missed the nasty stain on the wallpaper next to the toilet, and they didn't give us clean glasses. They did make the beds, give us clean towels, and clean up the skittles. This review is given to bring awareness to the management staff that there are some shortcomings in furnishings and housekeeping, as well as front desk training when issue are brought to their attention. I don't expect perfection, but I would like more concerted effort. I would inspect my room next time, and go back to the front desk to resolve before settling on. read more

I was thoroughly impressed with the SpringHill Suites in downtown Indianapolis. Directly located right next to the Courtyard and JW Marriott, the SpringHill Suites is one of many options to stay at in Indy. The more expensive and beautiful looking hotel, JW Marriott, from the outside might look like a no brainer for the best choice, but with the friendly service and spacious rooms, the SpringHill is an excellent option at a lower price per night. I stayed at the SpringHill Suites for a work Convention. My Convention at the Indiana Convention Center was connected to the hotel which made my commute walking to the event easy every morning. I always had the option to pickup a quick complimentary breakfast which was a huge plus too. Moreover, my favorite elements at the hotel were the service, spacious rooms, and awesome gym. My room was HUGE and could easily fit 4 people. There was even two separate bathrooms which I liked and was unique. Also, I worked out each day in the gym that was clean and had plenty of treadmills and even cycle bikes. You rarely see cycle bikes which I took advantage of as well. The service was superior too as the hotel was booked for he conference and I was able to get help whenever I requested it. Overall, when and if I come back to Indy I look forward to my next stay at the SpringHill Suites!! read more

The room was great. NO worries with the room. It was comfortable, spacious, all that good stuff. Could have used a few more pillows, but I think that's our personal preference. Nice big shower, comfy couch - no complaints. This is a "two star review" because of the service and the breakfast. Ugh, was it bad. They ran out of everything - bacon, eggs, syrup, coffee, cups. CUPS! Wow. There were no fewer than 8 people - customers - standing around, looking at each other, going "WTF?!?! No coffee? No eggs?" The folks at the front desk were *ahem* not to be troubled with such things. THEY are the front desk, after all, and the breakfast is the concern of the breakfast staff. VERY unimpressive service from the breakfast crew compounded by poor customer service from the front desk. All this was after we went in to the wrong building because this place is right next to another, very similar Marriott property that shares a parking garage - they're actually attached and hallways/doors take you from one to the other. The staff looked at me like I was a frickin' idiot for not knowing all this. Now I'm no genius but isn't the customer always right? And here I thought they would want my return business... read more

I stayed for 4 days last week... This is attached to the JW Marriott but is a separate entity... Covid precautions are still in full effect so many amenities are not available. Like maid service.. rooms are only cleaned between guests... I had trash cans overflowing... I had to go to the desk to get clean towels etc. Maintenance on this facility is slacking a bit... My shower dripped constantly... I ended up putting a towel on the shower floor to dampen the sound (It was maddening), As I was waiting at the desk I heard another recently checked-in patron complaining because his bathtub was dripping and had 3 inches of standing water in it. The ice machines on the 4th and 6th floors were out for the duration of my stay, the laundry area has 2 washers and 4 dryers, one washer was down and 2 dryers were down for the duration of my stay. The hotel was clean though and the front desk staff was great... I chose to valet park which was only a few more dollars a day than self-park and came with unlimited in/out privileges... There is a fitness center but no pool.. a business center in the lobby... The location is GREAT. right across the street from 2 awesome museums and white river state park which is a must-visit... Lime and Bird scooters are plentiful in the area.. it is minutes from downtown and monument circle. The free breakfast is currently a bag of assorted things like a muffin or bagel, yogurt, etc... no hot food was available. all in all, I did enjoy my stay... and I would return. This is NOT a cheap hotel BTW... I spent over 1000 dollars to stay here for 4 days (family of 4). read more

The location is excellent, the hotel employees are top notch, and the property is clean and well maintained. The room is a suite and was laid out a little different, as the toilet/sink is in one room and the shower and bathroom counter in another small room. The bed is very comfortable, and the couch/desk area are very nice. There was a free hot breakfast (eggs, sausage, etc.) with oatmeal, fruit, toast/muffins etc. They also have a the coffee in the lobby. read more

We booked through the link provided on the Indianapolis Farmers Coloseum so we would be close to the fairgrounds. I was looking for 2 things, continental breakfast and a pool. Great! Get settled in and have a few hours and go looking for the pool it advertised......NO POOL. not closed, No pool at all. HIGHLY disappointed. We decided to walk to the TGIFridays in the building since their signs were on every corner of the parking garage, and its long been closed down. Bummer.. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean, good location. There wasn't any pens, paper, or guides to show restaurants close by or any info whatsoever in the room, which was also disappointing. I stayed here when I was in town for a national conference. I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the convention center and it's price. I wasn't disappointed! The room was comfortable and well-appointed. I never heard any noise from my neighbors, which was surprising since my stay coincided with the Elite Eight games. The wifi in the room was strong and stable - I was able to stream radio stations and Spotify without a glitch. The breakfast was decent, but not much variety from day-to-day. But, it was hot and complementary! All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. It's not a short walk to the convention center, but it's all indoors, so that helps. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel again if necessary. read more

Stayed in room 237: Was here for a conference, had to stay in Springhill until the next night when our room at the JW was available. I was kind of underwhelmed by the room. It was a standard double room but for $249/night the standard was below standards. No towels hung in either bathroom area, standard hotel quality soaps, sofa with a visible tear along the seamline , carpet looked worn/old. I would stay here if I had to, but would search for a different property if given the choice. read more

Wow I've never ranked such an expensive hotel so low. Whoever designed the rooms never stayed in the hotel before. When I'm laying on my bed I want to be able to see the TV instead I'm looking at a frosted dood that separates the toilet room and shower room. The TV is off to the right so I can't lay straight in bed watching TV. I have to lay on my side. If you're on the far end of the bed the remote doesn't quite reach the TV to change the channels. Front desk staff seemed really put out as I was checking in. Then when I ask to switch rooms because they put me in a handicap room it really seem like a big deal to them. Ironing board is too small. The room is not designed well. There's no lamp on the side of the bed. And the switch to the light over the bed is really placed inconveniently. Chances of me ever staying here again 0 read more

I forgot my shampoo and conditioner and I have bleached hair so I'm picky about what products I use and they carried Paul Mitchell. I love this brand and they had the tea tree shampoo and conditioner which did not dry my hair out. Never stayed at a hotel that has good quality hair products! My rating is for the lack of forewarning about the parking bill. $32 dollars for parking makes their rate less competitive with the other options would could have gone with, and to me the fee doesn't make sense for the locations. In my opinion, the rooms were pretty nice. The toilet and the shower were in the separate sections and the mattress was very soft and comfortable. Housekeeping woke us up at 10am. We had the king suite and the tv wasn't visible from the bed or the couches...super awkward and weird spot. read more

This place was awesome! I've stayed in a couple of places over the past few years (Crowne Plaza, Omni), but I really enjoyed my stay at the SpringHill Suites -- rooms were very spacious and clean. The hotel is connected to 3 other Marriott's and very close to the zoo. The breakfast was quite tasty and my family really enjoyed the waffles. The staff was very attentive -- when we didn't have sheets for the pull-out couch, they sent someone up immediately (while we swam in the pool). Also, when we decided to stay one extra day, the front desk staff was able to get us the same rate as the previous nights. We thought the self-parking was a bit expensive at $23/night, but it is downtown Indy, and you get in/out privileges. Also, found the pool a bit on the cool side. Would stay there again, even if function is not located at the hotel. read more

As a platinum rewards member, I am familiar with what to expect from a springhill and this one sorely lacks. I waited over 2 hours for pillows and towels. The pillows we requested before arrival. The staff was rude and condescending. I've been experiencing worse and worse customer service at Marriott properties over the last year and this particular Marriott property I think is the one that will make me take my 200 nights a year over to Hilton. read more

These trifling owners will not even keep fresh water in their water dispenser all day. Only melted ice is available for 18 hours. As a policy they only fill the water in the morning. I've never stayed at a respectable hotel that doesn't offer water in a dispenser. Do better Indianapolis! You are an embarrassment. read more

This is a confusing hotel -- it's literally in the same building as a Courtyard and JW Marriott, but it was a great room. Separate toilet and bathing area were convenient for our large family.
